"You would NOT expect to find such an upscale restaurant tucked into a small strip mall in Mission Viejo. The service was outstanding and the food delicious. Don't miss the chocolate pecan tart for dessert!!!"

"The food was exceptional! We were really looking forward to going out to a fine restaurant in our local neighborhood. I was really disappointed in the ambiance. I felt like I was at an afternoon cafe. The seating arrangement was really cold, uninviting. The decor needed updating. With just a little bit of work on the decor and some effort on the service this could be a fantastic restaurant. If I just shut my eyes and ate the food I would have been really happy."

"The swordfish was very good on fixe price menu. Also the waiters are very attentive. But the dessert on the special menu was not available and they substituted a very so-so apple pie. All in all a mixed dining experience."

"The restaurant was supposedly recently remodeled. It looked the same to me with new paint. Still a bit noisy and the music was turned up too loud (perhaps to stifle conversation!). The food was good, along with the service...just didn't seem as good as it used to be. Prix Fixe menu offered good value."

"The most delicious meal I have had in a very long time. The fist was extremely tasty and cooked to perfection. Also the green vegetables and lentils were extremely flavorful. I had the dessert with sliced strawberries in a gran mariner sauce , served on vanilla ice cream that was so flavorful. I would love the recipe."

"Excellent food. Certainly one of the best restaurants in OC. The ambiance is just okay since the Mission Viejo place is in a strip shopping center and it was quite cold. The Laguna Beach one has far better ambiance but the food is the same high quality.
