You may also choose to host a cocktail reception using solely the upstairs rooftop

  • Public Transit: There is a public transport drop off at the main Laguna Beach depot 100 Yards East of the building.

  • Parking Details: There is a lot which is attached to the Broadway side of the center next to the Local OCTA Transit Station for all patrons during business hours. Parking is also available as metered parking on Broadway and Beach in front of and to the South of the building.

  • "The wine was excellent, and the soup and bread delicious, but the gravy on my lamb rack was superfluous and the vegetables lukewarm, while my wife's pasta was overly spicy. The service was somewhat neglectful, too: we had to ask specifically for bread and butter to be brought, as well as salt and pepper. At these prices, those are not little things. We were disappointed, since we had had no complaints the three times we dined at the old location in Mission Viejo."

  • "I took my friend here for her birthday. She is gluten intolerant and they offer a separate menu that is entirely gluten-free. It has many of their regular items on it (which are gluten-free anyway) as well as slightly adjusted versions of their regular items. In any case, it was an extensive menu and was so nice for her to know that she could order anything she saw on it with no worries. And of course, the quality of the food was phenomenal. She had the stuffed pepper appetizer and the filet mignon main course. I had the scallops appetizer and the black cod main course (also from the gluten-free menu). We both took our bites and said "Nirvana" at the same time. Outstanding dinner."

The kale salad is OK but should be soaked just a bit longer, needs more feta and adding strawberries or something sweet is my suggestion. The salmon was just OK. The chocolate bundt cake and blueberry pie was awesome. Those items with no wine was $100. Sorry, not impressed and would not go back."

  • "We have been to Nirvana several times, but hesitate going because a party of two is most likely to be sitting on top of the person next to them. This visit we had 5:30 reservations in hopes of getting a nice booth before Pageant of the Masters, but no such luck. The food is always pretty good, although my appetizer was not quite warm. I think we've decided to cross it off our list due to the undesirable seating."

Asked the hostess to relocate and she was not helpful. Asked the waiter and he said sure and got us re-seated in a better location. The recipes were all included with heavy sauces and the entree's did not need them, they were tasty but not complimentary to the food. My wife had the cod which is a very flavorful fish but was overpowered by the sauce. I had the blackened fish medley which was not very blackened and had a sauce which hid the taste of the fish and any heat from the grilling. Tasty flavor but not enhancing the entrees #"

  • "We have made the Nirvana Grille as an annual experience for dining prior to the Pageant of the Masters performance. This year the food just did not match up to previous experiences. An interesting Fig appetizer was great, but our mains were just not up to the level we expected from this fine dining establishment. We have had great meals before, but all 4 in our group, were not impressed. Think things need to be re-evaluated and a new approach in the kitchen and menu should be taken."

I had studied the menu on Yelp and it really seemed like one of the best in food places in Laguna Beach and in this case, my instincts proved correct. My date and I shared two appetizers, a salad and one main course: the crab cakes, the poblano chile, the grilled ceasar and the blackened seafood sampler of scallops, salmon and (sea bass?) and each dish was a wow! We sampled 2 signature cocktails and 2 deserts with our dinner party of 5 and everything was beautiful and delicious. I believe Nirvana Grille is a top tier restaurant in Laguna Beach - I spent $120 for 2 people, not including tip. Liked it so much I would definitely go back again."

  • " Last minute reservations were made at a 7:15 time slot for a Friday night meal. While there is no view and the street approach left doubts, once inside, the atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. We sat in a booth by the window; again no view, just the patio outside which isn't much to look at. I had the Poblano chili started which made the night. This was an absolutely fantastic dish. I followed that up with the sea bass. Again, wonderfully done; this wasn't your usual Chilean sea bass, but a butterflied filet in the skin. Delicious. My wife likes to create her own dishes; ala Sally in "When Harry met Sally". The server and cook were very accommodating and produced great dishes."

  • "The food here is always good. Lindsay does a great job with the menus and her staff is great at executing day after day. We like the ability to customize our dinner with the addition of a great variety of well prepared proteins. (certainly not your basic "grilled" chicken breast to top a Caesar salad). Small plates are big enough to share. We usually have a couple each as our dinner. Some exceptional items from this past visit: Roasted Poblana Chile with artichoke and spinach - a modern chile relleno, Blue Lump Crab Cakes - great crab texture and not too much binder to hide the crab flavor, Blue Lip Mussels - yum! A nice selection of vegetarian dishes. The non-meat eater in our party appreciated the thoughtful presentation of the Veg Plate."

Wine was very reasonable and the food was very good. The manager made a wonderful suggestion of an item to eat for me that did not have cheese. It was very good. The manager also told us that they have tables upstairs outside. I will definitely eat at Nirvana again."

The food was good. The promotion wasn't. We paid more than we expected."

  • "Three of us ordered Grilled Romaine Salad and for an additional charge, a 4 oz. beef filet, weight as noted by the server. The grilled heart of romaine was cut in half with grilled fresh corn, tomatoes and other veggies and was dressed with a very good vinaigrette. My steak portion was 2"x2"x1/2" and was overcooked (medium to MW.) The other steaks were thicker, but they, too, were overcooked. When the server asked how we enjoyed the meal, I told him that the meat was overcooked. He apologized and when he returned with the bill, he had deducted the cost of one glass of wine, which was appreciated. I didn't think it was worth the price we paid for house wine, a heart of romaine salad and a Reese's Peanut cup size portion of filet."
