I would go back and recommend it to just about anyone.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMCanadian VisitorA friend from work recommended this restaurant for my visit to New York this May and I am so glad she did. It was phenomenal service and food. I will recommend this to anybody who would like a dining experience as well as the best food I have had in a long time! Thank you so much!

Was superb. I would go back for a birthday or a special date night.
Not a place for everyday dining. Remember to tip your staff
They are half of the experience.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMi had a great timei cane here for my anniversary it was awesome everyone was so fun polite and caring. Our magician eddy made it extra fun. Would.come here again. they also gave us a apecial and we saved money. Awesome experience.5/7/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat for kids !My 7 year old loved this place. Everything was fantastic, because I booked my reservation there for 5:00pm when they opened! Best time to go there with kids! The staff is so much fun!5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat ExperienceUnique and fun! The good was great and so was the service, it was a meal and a show that will not be forgotten.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMMagic + Ninja = MaginjaI picked Ninja for my friend's birthday dinner. It was my first time going, as well as the first time for the rest of my party. The service was really good, our waiter was super attentive in filling our water with ninja fast reflexes. I requested that the ninjas really let the guest of honor have it, and they really got him a few good times, as well as the rest of my friends and myself included. The food was both delicious and artful in presentation. But the real fun came when our magic ninja (Maginja) Eddie treated us to an amazing magic show at our table that still has all of my friends talking and scratching our heads in trying to figure the trick out. All and all this was definitely an experience from start to finish.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Ninja nightGreat evening! Worth visiting especially with kids! Food was good value and the servers were fun and service was excellent!5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMI took my boyfriend out ofI took my boyfriend out of a recommendation from a friend. I sorta knew what to expect being this was a "theme" type restaurant. The food was good - lots more food then I thought - from the "boxed" selection. The only thing I may be careful with is the scare at the very beginning of the experience. The moment we stepped off the elevator, we were greeted with a very loud "hiya" which scared me but not my boyfriend. We determined that if someone with a heart condition or a trained martial artist trained to attack was in that position, the outcome might not be a scare. But all in all its a very fun, energetic place. Ambiance was appropriate. The servers were funny, great with the service and stayed in character. Great experience.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMThe whole experience of goingThe whole experience of going to Ninja is something that you will talk about for days afterwards. The food at Ninja is delicious and the service is excellent. Even though it is always packed the design of the Ninja Village seating area makes it feel like you are at an exclusive, quiet restaurant. If you are looking for an entertaining experience and great food, Ninja should be on your list.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMLots of fun!! Very priceyLots of fun!! Very pricey but the whole family will enjoy. I am planning on going back with larger group!4/25/2013 12:00:00 AMFun!For NYC amazing price for app, entree, and dessert !$38! And I brought some home for my lunch next day. Was sooo fun and can't wait to bring my nieces and nephews here ! Great experience4/25/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had sooooo much fun.We had sooooo much fun. Mediocre food, but still worth it. Best "theme" restaurant we have ever been to I think.4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMFun Dinner! This is a super fun restaurant that is unlike any other restaurant I have been too. The mix of theater and food proved to be a great combination. The food was better than I expected and we got a lot more food than we thought we would. The prices are pretty moderate especially for NY. The drinks were very tasty and they were not overpriced. The service was good and the waitstaff was very friendly and accommodating. This restaurant is a great choice if you want to have a fun time in an exciting atmosphere.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMI brought my son for his birtdhayI brought my son for his birtdhay and he really got into it. Our server, Ninja Angel was awesome! We enjoyed the time spent there and will come back.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMAwesomesauceDon't like that you changed the menu! But other than this place is amazeballs!4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMNinja is a fun place to go.Ninja is a fun place to go. My wife and I went as a couple and had a grat time. We saw families and groups of friends both there having a good time enjoying the restaurant. The ambiane and staff do a gret job and the food presentation is very creative. The food tasted good also, both the traditional sushi (that I enjoy more than my wife) and the more wesern cuisine also. Ninja s a fun place - make sure you know the restaurant theme before you go as it isn't a traditional Japanese/Sushi resaurant.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMgood ++++Fun place, prices not that high for s good fun time4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMthe restaurant was great.the restaurant was great. The service, food, and my experience was great. The place is a little pricey, but it is worth it because of the entertainment and service they provide. Also the food was great.4/15/2013 12:00:00 AMHad a great time- The ninjasHad a great time- The ninjas were fantastic, food was great and loved being scared by the awesome ninjas!!!4/15/2013 12:00:00 AMFirst time in New York andFirst time in New York and had to go to Ninja New York! It's a new and super fun way to have dinner!! My friend and I loved it and highly recommend it. Thanks for the amazing experience :)4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMDefinitely a good place toDefinitely a good place to try for a ninja feel :D4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMvery special birthday dinner!I went for my birthday and it was fantastic. The wait staff is super fun and entertaining and I thought the food was fantastic. The ninja art dishes really made the experience. They really go out of their way to make birthdays special at NINJA, which I really appreciated. It was so much more than just singing happy birthday! If you're looking for a quiet dinner spot, then this probably isn't the place for you. But if you're willing to play along and engage with the ninjas, it's well worth the money. It is expensive, but you pay for the experience instead of the food. I also really enjoyed the magic show at the end of the meal. All of the children at the restaurant seemed to be having the time of their lives. It was really fantastic.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMfun and exciting. food andfun and exciting. food and service was great. very interactive4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMEntertaining event, good foodthis is a great place if your looking to spend a random night out with someone and have nothing else to do, but have a bit of extra cash to spend. The place is not the cheapest you'll ever be to but its more about the entertainment then anything else. If you go there expecting good entertainment, and decent food you'll enjoy the evening.4/2/2013 12:00:00 AMThe night she will rememeber. My experience at Ninja was amazing. I had an outstanding time and my girlfriend was able to enjoy a night that she won't ever forget. I told my family and friends out this place and hinted that it is more of a date-night place than a family place to go. I would most likely love to come back to Ninja and this time bring a few friends to share the experience.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMDon't sit in the Rock RoomI had an overall acceptable experience. I was disappointed because we were sat in the rock room as opposed to the village rooms, so I felt it took away from the experience was not what we expected. I kept hearing people screaming from the village rooms because the ninja's would pop into the room which made it exciting and unexpected fun. I even asked if I had to pay more or make reservation more in advance. The table next to us gad sat first so we were able to see everything before we experienced it like the ceasar salad and the magician, so it took away from the mystery and excitement. The host was excellent and really funny. The food was excellent though. Great food!3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMUnique dining experienceA very unique and fun place Food was very good, except the Mr Fish. Staff was friendly and entertaining3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat you get the FULL Experience!Great you get the FULL Experience! The Ninjas take their job very seriously!3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMFabulous find for kids, theyFabulous find for kids, they loved it. we will definitely go back the next time we are in NY and recommend to friends with kids.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMVery entertaining restaurantVery entertaining restaurant to say the least. The food lights on fire, there is a magician who is very good, and the drinks were a fun tropical blend. Be ready to a little scared every once in a while with the ninja's HIYAAA. Must go to once.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMGoing to this restaurant wasGoing to this restaurant was less about filling our bellies and more about having a group outing at an entertaining venue! The decor, the ambiance, the presentation and the service all summed up to a great experience. And of course, the food was up to par with everything else. We ordered the steak-in-the-box, which was very juicy and tender. It came with three different kinds of sauces, and a few side dishes; definitely not your average steak! The desserts were tasty as well, and also flawless in their presentation. All in all, it was a great place to have a group outing. The only drawback was that our table was next to the party room, where the group of people got rowdy and loud. We couldn't even hear ourselves talk!3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMOne if the most fun diningOne if the most fun dining experiences I've ever had! Even the waitress holding a knife to my date's throat was fantastic! Don't worry it's all part of the show- and it's a trick knife - I'm sorry - it's a magic ninja knife!
Cozy private tables and waiting staff that sneak up on you out of nowhere. Get th food with the ninja stars next to it for an added floor show!
Great fun!3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMThe service was outstandingThe service was outstanding and the staff was very friendly. The japanese food was delicious; steaks, potatoes, and other non-japanese dishes were OK. I didn't like the fact that we were charged 20% gratuity because we were a party of six without being explained to beforehand.3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMVery entertaining for kidsVery entertaining for kids and adults. Ninjas pop out to "scare" you. Great place!!!!3/27/2013 12:00:00 AMI had a teeange relative visitingI had a teeange relative visiting for a few days and deciding to experience this restaurant before our broadway show. Unfortunately for us we only had time to enjoy the fun (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) drinks and appetizers. I let the server know beforehand our situation. The staff was great about gettig our drinks and food to us in a timely manner. The drinks were delicious and fun. The food would not satisfy a foodie but it definitely satisfied my 15 year old brother from the midwest. The setting was so fun and the servers were friendly and even "ninja-like".
I would definately suggest this restaurant to out of towners who are looking for a unique NYC experience.3/26/2013 12:00:00 AMThis is a very entertainingThis is a very entertaining place. I went with my daughter as part of a special trip to NYC. It has ninja's jumping out, flaming presentaions and great waiters that stay in character as Ninja's. On top of that the food is really good. We had the 5 course deal with salmon and steak. Everything was very flavorful and delecious. It cost us $60 with no drinks and including tip. Make sure you make a reservation.3/26/2013 12:00:00 AMthere were 4 adults in ourthere were 4 adults in our party, we had an excellent time, it was so much fun, and the food is good too.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMI loved the edamame apetizerI loved the edamame apetizer that arrived in a lovely box with florescent light. The drinks are great but a pricy. Your always entertained either by the waitstaff sneaking up on you or the magicians. I highly recommend this place.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMVery good experience! LovedVery good experience! Loved the theme and personal magician. The food was nothing special but everything else made up for it. Definitely good for the experience3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMfood meets entretaimentGreat and entretaining place, perfect if you are trying a diferent experience of dinning a hood mix between food and entretaining, the food is also have amazong presentation and it tastes very good. This is the second rime i go and i love the set up.3/19/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazing as always! For the past 3 yrs I have gone to Ninja with my husband for my birthday. I'm never disappointed. Every time we go there are new menu items to try and they're all amazing. The servers are funny and upbeat and make the experience a pleasure every time. Highly reccomended!3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMMystic and fun in TribecaAlthough not a gourmet place, this place serves good food. But the place isn't so much about the food as it is about the ambiance. I will not reveal their secrets, other than saying that you will not have a boring moment from you enter 'till you leave and the name of the place should give you an idea as to what it is about. The service is absoultely top class and they have some great surprises for you. The overall feel of the interior is very good and nothing like anything you have seen before. We were four adults and had a great time, and I am also sure that if we had had children with us - perhaps from the age 10-12 they would have had something to talk about for a long time afterwards. Prices are very reasonable too.3/12/2013 12:00:00 AMSince the entrance, the placeSince the entrance, the place is amazing. Great service. Cozy, dark, and mysterious. The food was delicious. I love the spicy tuna roll and the fish and chips. The Japanese soda is unique, great taste and cool. From the host to the ninjas and the food, it was a great experience. It is a little expensive but it's worth it! I am definitely going back. It is family, kids- friendly. Also if you want to go on a romantic dinner, it is great. They make you feel comfortable and the surroundings are great. I love it! Want to know more? Check it out! Make your reservation!3/11/2013 12:00:00 AMThis restaurant is perfectThis restaurant is perfect for families with pre-teens and young teens who want to have a unique New York dining experience or celebrate a special occasion. To really enjoy it, you must be open-minded and ready to get into the Ninja mindset. The interaction between the guests and the servers is what makes it fun. Make sure that you order the special dishes that feature Ninja art to get the full effect. Be prepared to spend $100 per person for a drink, appetizer, entrée, dessert, tax and tip. Although the meals are pretty good, you're paying for the atmosphere and the showmanship.3/11/2013 12:00:00 AMWe loved Ninja! We didn'tWe loved Ninja! We didn't know what to expect and very often with a theme restaurant, the food is disappointing. Not in this case! The servers were enthusiastic and entertaining, as well as efficient. The food was excellent, fresh and delicious. Even the presentation of each dish was clearly well thought out and sometimes even exotic looking. We loved the first magician we met but the second one did not connect well. It was very uncomfortable when we were left to tip him even though we did not enjoy the show. And we only had a $20! That is not fair to the clients - how do you ask for change in that case? That is the one thing I would change. Giving that guy $20 when he was so "off" left a bad taste in my mouth. Otherwise it was perfect!3/10/2013 12:00:00 AM
