I had heard about 90 Acres before and decided to try for our Anniversary. They did not disappoint. Service was fantastic. Food was great. Portion size very appropriate. Wine list is like a novel so be prepared for that. We brought our own and paid the corkage. It was a great experience all around.

My fiancé and I got engaged here this weekend. The service and the food was perfect. The ambience is just magical, and José the manager even arranged a private room for me to propose in. After that, David the chef's five course tasting menu was exquisite. He really knows how to bring out the flavor of a good fish, and the fried green tomatoes demonstrated uncommon creativity.

My girlfriend had been here and wanted to go with me badly. I made the reservations and although it was a 9:00pm reservation on a Thursday night and the resteraunt being an hour away, I took it. Arriving through the mist covering the park was amazing. Use the valet service, it's complimentary. Drinks at the side bar room were nice with a lively bar scene and long tables to hang out at. The staff knew where we were the whole time and to collect us for the table. The two of us had a wonderful dinner comprised of beef tartar and tuna tartar appetizers and then the cod entree and chicken pot pie entree. The wine list to my untrained eye appeared extensive as well as a large list of craft beers. The food great service & ambiance excelle

You need to be an adventurous eater at this restaurant, especially if you go with the Bring Me Food option. While I enjoyed everything they brought me, my sisters did not. The chef worked with my vegan daughter and provided scrumptious alternatives to the items served to the rest of us. Next time, my sisters are going to say they are vegan.

We came here for our anniversary dinner and chose the bring me food option. The kitchen was awesome that they were able to accommodate our dietary restrictions and our preferences! Each dish was better than the next and the service was spectacular as well. Our meal was 2 hours long. I'd recommend going for an earlier reservation just so you can see Natirar park.

Set in a park of rolling pastures, up a winding road stands a majestic brick edifice. As you walk under a trellis past flower beds you enter a softly lit modern room which is warmed by its natural wood and stone milieu. You are graciously welcomed by a hostess and ushered to a roomy copper topped table. The service was attentive without being annoying. The menu was broad without being overwhelming. The best part was the food. The plating was a picture. The cuisine evoked the flavor of each of it carefully chosen ingredients without losing it to overly creative sauces. We were able to enjoy a relaxing, delicious unhurried meal in a beautiful atmosphere.

No doubt the estate is very impressive. All the food was of high quality, particularly the meat, but the taste of the dishes ranged from heavenly to disastrous, which shouldn't be the case with a restaurant in this price range. My appetizer was a combination of intensely sour red cabbage, intensely sweet currant jelly, cold figs and bits of squab. My main course of prime rib was superb meat, but the mash potatoes tasted like something from a box. On the other hand, the deserts were out of this world. The service was good, but a little pretentious. I don't need four servers. The wine list wasn't superb, but above average. I expected more and paid for more. There are a lot of BYOB restaurants in this area that provide better food.

Have been here a few times before and so enjoyed the atmosphere and loved the food, that my daughter wanted to have her birthday here last Tuesday night. Apparently so did a few dozen others, as they seem to have sat the entire restaurant at the same time and were not prepared. Although staff seemed to be running around madly, we waited far too long for everything, and by the time our blood sugar was so low, my birthday girl was very unhappy, thus making the rest of our party very unhappy and spoiled what is very excellent food and wine. I think two hours to receive dinner is a bit much, and they need to consider their staffing needs more carefully.

I was very happy with my experience at Ninety Acres. I'd give the food 4 1/2 to 5 stars and rate the service just as highly. The heirloom tomato salad and the Chatham cod entree were both delicious and fairly large portioned. As a lover of Brussels sprouts, I added a side dish (my first Jersey sprouts of the season). All in all, it was a wonderful meal on a perfect autumn evening.

My wife and I went to Ninety Acres to celebrate our 19th wedding anniversary. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice. It is an impressive blend of casual (jeans acceptable) luxury. We were particularly happy with our server who was very friendly, very knowledgeable, and very attentive.

The food is truly special and the service was outstanding. I think the best aspect of this restaurant is the perfect combination of food and service that rival virtually anywhere combined with an extremely warm, inviting and relaxed atmosphere. Food of this quality typically mandates a very formal and potentially stuffy environment but, while 90 Acres is unmistakably top notch, all the employees are warm, friendly and genuinely friendly. It all makes for a truly special experience.

The price per person, $95 without wine pairing, and $145 with wine, was steep. I'm not sure if I would do this again at these prices. We've been to other venues with fixed priced tastings for about 20% less. Also, the amount of wine served with each course was too small and refills not offered nor given! If we go again, I'd omit the wine pairing and order wine from the wine list.

My night at Ninety Acres was a spectacular experience. The food, service, atmosphere, and decor were absolutely wonderful. The servers and other staff all wished us a happy anniversary, and even served us special anniversary truffles which were delicious! I also love that so much of the ingredients were sustainable or directly from the farm outback. The only drawback was that my entree had a meat ingredient that I do not believe was listed in the menu, unfortunately. Luckily it was not touching the rest of my food so it was not a big problem. Besides that small issue, my dining experience at Ninety Acres was incredible.

Went to 90 Acres twice within 2 weeks and both times were fair at best. The fist time was for my birthday and my boyfriend and I could couldn't get reservations until 9:30 pm. The food was very filling, especially for that late at night. When my boyfriend got his credit card bill, he realized they had grossly overcharged us for our evening. Turns out, they charged us for someone else's bar tab (which was over $130!)! Then we returned for my boyfriends father's 85th Bday and the food was average at best. His father ordered steak and it was so tough and both knives they gave us were so dull, he couldn't even cut his steak. My boyfriend had to cut his dad's steak, much to his embarrassment. We did get credited back the $130 and an apology.

I recently moved to North Jersey from South Jersey and one of the things I miss is the vibrant restaurant scene. Everything here is focused around New York City. This is a fantastic place in a bucolic setting and you don't have to get on a train or park in the city. This ranks as one of the Top 10 places I have ever dined. Fantastic food and service in a bucolic setting! I would highly recommend to anyone.

90 Acres is a lovely special occasion venue, we loved the farm to table menu, however it does seem that there is a lot of MEAT on the farm. Pretty much everything was served with some kind of meat in sauce, on the side or smothering the top. They do offer a vegetarian and vegan menu, but since it something separate and must be asked for I figured that was not going to be prepared with much enthusiasm. I enjoyed the tile fish, my husband enjoyed the lamb. The "crisps" in the bread basket were stellar. The service was wonderful. We liked the option to take home farm goods for our own table. We noticed the cooking school on the way out - definitely something to look into -especially I bet - if you like cooking meat.

I had to make reservations 60 days in advance and it was well worth the wait. The food was very good, the service was outstanding and I could't have had a better birthday gift to my boyfriend. From the second we pulled up to the restaurant, which was beautifully lit, to the friendly host staff. A table for 2 meant not having to sit on top of the people next to us with 3 of the wait staff working on our table. I the food was wonderful and served at a nice tempo for the evening to last 2 hours and never feeling rushed. I can't wait to make another reservation and wait another 60 days to go again. The night was memorable for both of us.

The drive up was nice and the view was spectacular. The overall ambiance was pleasant in a sort of rustic way. The service was good but not great and the food was very fancy but not a large portion. Pricey but worth a try.
