A word from Ninety Acres
PLEASE CALL THE RESTAURANT IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN OUR BMF (TASTING MENU) EXPERIENCE
The Natirar Estate, a nearly 500-acre site atop the mountains of Peapack, is the home of Ninety Acres Culinary Center, which consists of a cooking and wine school, and a restaurant offering unique and exciting menus featuring produce and livestock fresh from the estate farm. The restaurant, along with our private party facilities, redefines what a quality dining experience can and should be. We offer an a la carte menu in our dining rooms, a light bar menu in our bar and lounge areas, and the "Bring Me Food" experience, our interpretation of the tasting menu concept, exclusively in our kitchen dining area.

Ninety Acres has a lot of positives and we are repeat customers. The main negative, and we have found this on nearly every occasion, is the reception staff. Last Sunday again the young hostess had attitude. Instead of being gracious she acted like doing us a favor. We announced a 4:30 reservation and she replied nastily.."well you're early." When my husband said, "Well it's 4:25" she corrected him "It's 4:23 sir!" Then as we followed her to a table, she sniped, "I didn't tell you to follow me, someone else will seat you." We would have left if not for our guest. My husband spoke with the manager, who apologized and comped dessert but it's untenable a restaurant of this caliber doesn't train reception staff better.

Having heard about how wonderful 90 Acres is for the longest time... I finally tried to get a reservation for dinner (not easy). We ended up with the not preferred time of 9pm, but met our friends earlier for drinks at the lounge area. The restaurant is at the end of a long dark road, (not well marked, and we ended up in a park area before finding our way). The property looks quite beautiful and offers an outdoor seating area with fire pits for drinks. The lounge area offered a nice seating for drinks and small plates. The entire restaurant was bustling. The wine list is impressive. The Menu was interesting and offered everyone options. The food was excellent as was the service! Worth the 45 or so minute drive.

I had heard about 90 Acres but never got there. What a dinner. It was my wife's birthday and it was great. Great food, ambiance, and the outside area where we had a drink prior was beautiful. The drive up to the estate was spectacular and the actual estate was gorgeous. It was everything I was hoping it was. It's a place for a special event.

This restaurant is set on a beautful estate in a tranquil part of NJ. The service and food were very good. The grounds were beautiful. The only drawback was the inabililty to meander around the property on a beautfiul autumn day with a cocktail in your hand. There is an outdoor patio; however, you felt a little confined. The true beauty of 90 Acres is its location; would love to stroll the gounds before you enjoy your delicious dinner.

90 Acres is a rare find that combines great food, ambiance, service and drink. If you want a real treat try their BMF menu (Bring Me Food). it is a unique combination of ingredients that the chefs combine into 5 courses of delicious selections. BMF allows you to have combinations that most of us would never make (or even order) ourselves and the chefs come to your table to explain the dishes and chat with you about how they came up with them. It is very fun and so delicious.

It was our anniversary so we took the drive. Not too bad but about an hour from us. It was a magnificent day so we had drinks and appetizers outside then went in for dinner. Our experience was a delight and as I titled this review were it closer we would become regulars.

While the ambiance was wonderful as was the service, the restuarant was very noisy. They should consider soundproofing tiles so you can hear those sitting at your table and the wait staff. The food was good (although some items were too salty, ex. croutons & short ribs) but not excellent as we have had at comparably priced restaurants. The $44 strip steak was okay, but not as good as we have had elsewhere. We had been looking forward to dining here for months and the experience came up short of our expectations

The place was exquisite...Nestled away in the privacy of the Natirar estate, with a gorgeous property that goes on and on for miles, we found ourselves at the stable house that is now "Ninety Acres" restaurant. Arrived after a search through unmarked roads on huge grounds to an unmarked restaurant. Walked in, was told I needed a collared polo shirt, which I was not wearing , to eat in the dining room. This detail is NOT listed on open table, where one actually makes reservations, but buried in Their website. We were told we could eat outside. We sat down to a VERY limited menu and bugs, feeling like outcasts. We left, embarrassed.

We love the scenery and the setting of this beautiful restaurant. Terrific hosts at the host stand. We were seated on the patio and had wonderful drinks and service. Dinner was great, too. The sommelier was outstanding. The asst. wait staff were wonderful and attentive. But somehow there is always a disconnect with our main waiter, now for the third time. They seem distant and sometimes put off if you ask too many questions. Maybe they are just too busy. Otherwise, a great experience.

Came here to propose to my girlfriend and I couldn't have picked a better place! I cannot begin to say how helpful executive chef David C. Felton was. Allowed us to sit where we pleased, gave us a personal tour and helped set the scene for the big night perfectly. From there the food and wine at BMF was simply amazing. We were both treated like royalty! Everyone from the hostesses to servers to chefs need to be commended. I would highly recommend 90 Acres to everyone I know!

Always interesting, with different tweaks on each visit. The food portions are good, not overwhelming, and allow you to appreciate the courses, with room left for dessert. Service was observant, never intrusive. Unlike many places, the staff always seemed happy to help. This continues to be an impressive and continually improving restaurant. They are not resting on their laurels. I was surprised and pleased to see bags of heirloom tomatoes, peppers etc available for sale. That's a nice touch. The kitchen room / BMF room is much louder than the middle room. We had a few business folks at nearby tables celebrating something with quite a few bottles of wine. Added to the merriment for us, but others might chafe a bit.

I would absolutely recommend 90 Acres for anyone looking for an outstanding dining experience. The food was excellent, one course was better than the next! You have to get dessert! I went there with a group of girlfriends and we shared the key lime pie, coconut custard, and the sweet and salty sundae and they were all so good we couldn't decide which was best. The drinks were also delicious! Our servers were very attentive, friendly and made very good suggestions. I will definitely be returning with my husband next time!

First visit for dinner, primarily because of the long wait for reservations. Place looks great and feels great. Wanted to have a drink before dinner, but patio was full. Bummer. This was our 20th wedding anniversary, so after many recommendations to eat here, I decided in April to make a reservation knowing how hard it is to get in here to eat. We were not disappointed. The staff, the service the wine list, the food and the presentation were all exceptional. I probably won't wait for another special occasion to eat here and will be back sooner than expected. My husband had joked that the portions were probably going to be so small we would have to go and eat after dinner, not the case at all. The portions were more than enough:)

Food was good but not outstanding. Wait staff some what unavailable. Received our meal, steak was suppose to be Pittsburg, person who delivered left before we could say anything, we ask one of the wait staff for assistance and it was a few minutes before the manager came. She had an odd attitude and kept asking my husband tog cut the steak even though it was clearly not charred on the outside. Bus person took my wine caraf when it still had wine in it and we gave a gift card for $200.00 and the bill was 195 and change and they gave us no change. I feel that that is a lot of errors for a high end restaurant.

Another great evening at 90 Acres. We were there for a celebration and 90 Acres delivered. We all had the chefs tasting menu for the evening and everything was fresh, tasty and wonderfully plated. Portions were a perfect size for a 4 course meal. Several of us started with their poached egg app - it is amazing, a must have. The wine list is extensive but manageable and our sommelier was very helpful. Our servers were very good, service moved along nicely but never rushed or waiting. With the amazing ambiance and service, we can't wait to go back.

The first time eating here, we just walked in. We were surprised to find such great restaurant with great food accidentally. This time around, it was for my wife's birthday. Let me just sum everything up in two words "even better". Firstly, due to traffic and road closures, we arrived 30 minutes late (our reservation was at 5:30pm). However the restaurant was quite understanding and didn't fuss about the delay. Secondly, the service was superb, both professional and courteous. Thirdly, it was the great tasting food. My wife ordered a 8oz Waygu stake, and she said it was the best tasting stake she has eaten! The classic Chicken Pot Pie I tried was also very delicious.

The scenery is spectacular. Being there in the summer to enjoy the terrace bar and then dine outside near one of the fire pits was incredible. The interior rooms are beautiful & varied as well. The offerings are diverse & the menu prices are not unreasonable nor unexpected. The food was great - next time we may just make a meal of appetizers as those are our favorites. There was definitely a staffing issue when we were there & we went long spells without seeing our (or any other) server) - even when we approached the outdoor bar.
