A word from Ninety Acres
The Natirar Estate, a nearly 500-acre site atop the mountains of Peapack, is the home of Ninety Acres Culinary Center, which consists of a cooking and wine school, and a restaurant offering unique and exciting menus featuring produce and livestock fresh from the estate farm. The restaurant, along with our private party facilities, redefines what a quality dining experience can and should be. We offer an a la carte menu in our dining rooms, a light bar menu in our bar and lounge areas, and the "Bring Me Food" experience, our interpretation of the tasting menu concept, exclusively in our kitchen dining area.

Diner Reviews
  • "Such a good meal. Satisfying blend of flavors; scallops and short rib cooked to perfection. Fresh veggies from the garden. Servers attentive and unobtrusive. Comfortable, relaxing ambience."

  • "A stunning nite, outside having a cocktail was the right start to a wonderful high school reunion with a friend"
    Dined on 7/25/2014
  • "Everything was top notch. From the food to the service, it was a wonderful meal. The yellowfin tuna and cavatelli appetizers were great. My wife had the tilefish while I had the strip steak for our main course. Both were prepared to perfection. A wonderful evening."

  • "I have gone to this restaurant for several business meetings and loved the decor and atmosphere. The food was ok but wanted to see what it was like to dine privately instead of having food brought to a meeting. Well I have to say the service was great. Waiter attentive. Food came out hot and there was a lot to choose from. I thought there was more hype than substance before I ate there.. But it was great... I woujld go there again and already made reservations... It is hard to get a reservation so plan ahead...."

  • "From the appetizer, salad, to the entree this was a great disappointment. On the menu the ingredients in each dish we ordered sounded wonderful. However, the chef who put these dishes together was way off the mark. Example: Pizza app with salami, etc. It was overwhelmed with salami, extremely salty, with all of the other ingredient flavors not discernible. A mixed lettuce salad was swimming in it's dressing. And a pasta dish of ricotta cavitelli, with pancetta, was inundated with the pork flavor."

  • "This was our first visit to 90 Acres, and we will definitely return. Food, service, decor etc -- all first class."

  • "The food here is like nothing I've ever had before. Everything is fresh and extremely well made. Most delicious meal I've had eaten."

  • "My husband and I celebrated our second wedding anniversary at Ninety Acres and we both really loved it. The setting is stunning, as the restaurant (an old carriage house) sits on beautiful, sprawling land. The service was great, the atmosphere was upscale, modern & rustic, without being stuffy and the food was incredible. I had the roasted Griggstown chicken and my husband had steak. We split the mashed potatoes. Everything was cooked, seasoned and presented beautifully. A very satisfying, delicious meal. And dessert was epic! I loved the sweet & salty sundae, I'd read about it in Food Network Magazine a year ago, and it was worth the wait to try! We will certainly go back to celebrate another special occasion in the future."

  • "The restaurant is great for special occasions. Our waiter was friendly and well versed on all the wines we inquired about and offered a taste of each so we could make a decision. On past visits I declined the desserts as I felt they fell short, however, the last three times I dined at Ninety Acres and tried the new desserts, the desserts were outstanding. Very friendly staff."

  • "Ninety Acres offers impeccable food that is seasonable, creative, and perfectly executed. While it is rare enough to enjoy an exquisite multi-course meal, it is even more rare when the quality of food and drink are paired with fantastic service. You can tell that those who work here are proud to work here , and they are joyful about serving you. Truly a delight~"

  • "Uneven service , very loud restaurant , food very good , best part of evening was the scenic drive to the restaurant . Restaurant needs a lot of fine tuning and some sound proofing before we come back."

  • "First time at Ninety Acres, food was amazing and service was great! I would definitley recommend sitting outside for a drink before or after dinner, the atmosphere is pretty and very relaxing. Overall experience was amazing!"

  • "Everything is so enjoyable- starting with the long winding drive to the restaurant and plenty of places to wait until the table is ready. It is odd that the a la carte menu is not brought until some time after the prix fixe menu, so diners can't compare and make a faster decision. The food descriptions are such that you can never be quite sure what the dish will be like, but it never disappoints. The staff doesn't try to upsell on the wine, which is refreshing. My last 2 visits have allowed enjoyment of the patio area as well- very nice!"

  • "Every time we eat here I feel like I've gone on vacation for the evening. The scenic & winding entry through a beautiful lush park slowly helps me leave behind the worries of the day and I feel a bit of excitement anticipating the wonderful experience awaiting us! The grounds are breathtaking and the food is always a delight. Everything is fresh & a lot is grown locally. There is an extensive wine list fit for even the choosiest patron. The venue is also fabulous for small weddings and special events. You can't go wrong. My favorite restaurant in NJ! If I have anything bad to say its that it is hard to get a reservation so plan ahead. It's worth it!"

  • "The ambience is really classy yet comfortable, the food was heavenly, and the staff were very accommodating. The cucumber gimlet was deliciously fresh, the wagyu sirloin astounding. A special shoutout to Jackie and Ryan for great service! I've been looking for that Whistle Pig rye Ryan recommended, but no luck just yet. This place is so awesome I could use hashtags. #awesome"

  • "We only go to Ninety Acres a couple of times per year and are never disappointed. The atmosphere, service, friendliness and most importantly food are always excellent. Sometime the menu choices are a bit limited. For example there was a nice sirloin steak but should have been a filet which is a far superior cut. Seeing this is the most negative thing I can think of, it tells volumes as to how great the experience was."

  • "Simply stunning from the food to the setting. We love this place to dine alone, go with couples or bring our family. Wonderful experience at the cooking school too. Hope to bring a group to reserve the private glass dining room."

  • "I didn't feel that this restaurant was one of the best in NJ. The grounds are beautiful and the service was very good. The food was average. I won't go back."

  • "Went with 5 ladies and we were all impressed with the fabulous cocktails, excellent service, delicious food and perfect ambiance! Try their play on surf and turf - short ribs and scallops!"

  • "Ninety Acres is the perfect spot for a fabulous dinner enjoyed in a beautiful outdoor setting. Although there is limited outdoor seating, we were lucky enough to get a table (first come, first served). The weather was perfect and the food delicious. An evening to remember. Note: We have eaten here in the winter also. The restaurant is lovely, but that experience doesn't compare to the ambiance of the outdoors."

  • "Unfortunately, again, the food was very bland. The level of attention one gets from the servers cannot be faulted. We have been many times for cocktails and enjoy our evenings. The Manager did deduct the price off our bill for the three meals that were not eaten. He also deducted the price of a bottle of wine we had ordered but sadly the whole experience was soured by the bland food. This is the second time we have been to Natirar for a special occasion and both times now group members have been unhappy with their food. The first time we did not say anything. Sadly we will not be back - there are other very good restaurants within the area and as we live very locally, we will be choosing to use them in the future."

  • "If you expect little; you may not be disappointed. You arrive at a Ninety Acres and are immediately impressed. The lovely well kept estate is so beautifully and meticulous maintained that you assume you are in for a treat. Sorry, you should not have raised your hopes. Everything is mediocre or less. We ordered and waited an ok time for our appetizers. Oops one of the guests was not served. After fixing that...oops the salad was overdressed and limp; the pate less than so-so..oops they forgot the toast points..fix that and move on. The entree...oops less satisfying the the appetizers. Skip the deserts and bring everyone home for coffee and deserts. Wait - the check...why does this cost more than my local diner"

  • "From the moment of arrival to our dining and then our goodbyes, it was simply marvelous. The entrees and wines and deserts are nothing less than exquisite. The service is the best I've ever had. The location is bucolic yet elegant and enchanting."

  • "Awesome dining experience. Save it for a very romantic or special occasion. Menu is different but very enjoyable. Wine list is very expensive."
    Dined on 7/5/2014
  • "This was our second dinner. The scallop and short rib dish was outstanding and rich. The octopus was overcooked. The balsamic taste overwhelmed the polenta. The mashed potatoes are to die for. The service at the bar was efficient except a beer which had "to be brought from the back" took longer than it should. The female bartenders were professional but not friendly. We requested an additional glass of wine but that never came. One of our desserts never showed up until we mentioned it. We appreciated the removing of the charge for the other dessert as compensation. I also inquired about the vegetarian option but all I was told was that it was whatever is available (that was not helpful). All in all the food was good but..."

  • "A great place to go for that special occasion. Food is very good but not great but really this is a dining experience. Service is absolutely outstanding. A bit on the pricey side but the whole package justifies it for that memorable event."

  • "From the moment I pulled up in front of the restaurant until I walked out was a fabulous experience. It was pouring rain and the valet was at my car door with an umbrella that I could walk all the way into the restaurant. Due to the weather, one member of our party was running very late. The staff was wonderful in accommodating our party to only 2 for dinner, but 3 for dessert. Sommelier Drew was friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. Food was amazing, accommodating some special requests from the table. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. As I drove away, I was thinking of when and with who I could come again."

  • "Enjoyed cocktails on the patio even tho it was over 90 degrees. A sofa in the shade was great. Disappointed that there were no blue cheese stuffed olives and no stoli vodka. Dining room was packed, excellent business on a Tuesday night, each couple shared a starter, one arugula salad with farrow and blue cheese and a risotto with squash blossoms. All had the farmer special of fried chicken which was excellent. Our waiter left I guess while we were eating our chicken.. Seemed no one then to handle dessert, coffee or bringing the check."

  • "I cannot say enough about Ninety Acres. Hidden in the hills of Peapack-Gladstone, one is greeted with a beautiful view when driving to the location. Upon arrival, the friendly and professional staff are very welcoming and have extensive knowledge of the menu and wine lists. The food we ordered(I had the rib-eye, wife had scallops) was cooked to perfection and the diverse menu should keep people coming back for more."

  • "great destination place to eat for a special occassion; ours being 35th anniversary."
    Dined on 6/29/2014
  • "The food felt like I was in Paris or New York City, but the ambiance felt as if I were in Las Vegas. Our waitress was moderately interested in serving us. The sommelier was the highlight. We wished we had known about the tasting room before hand, but our dinner was good. The beet salad the best I've ever had. The pan fried quail was crispy yet juicy. My wife's rigatoni was mediocre."

  • "We chose the tasting menu with the wine pairing. Perfect amount of food. The dishes were prepared beautifully and presented very well. The wines were perfectly acceptable and went well with the food, although they were not remarkable. We thought the pricing was very fair. The service was excellent."

  • "This is our special occasion restaurant - the menu is eclectic with many different delicious choices (so hard to choose). The entire staff is accommodating, attentive and very knowledgeable. We usually try something different each time, but do love the scallops and steaks. It's the freshness, unique tastes and service that keep us coming back. Just celebrated our 27th wedding anniversary there and couldn't be more pleased. We were presented with free truffles for dessert - rich and yummy. It's a little pricey, but well worth. We will be back for our birthdays - well done, Ninety Acres! Thank you for a wonderful dining experience once again."

  • "Food was great. Service was terrible. Our waiter introduced himself and then disappeared for the rest of the night as he attended to a large, noisy table in another part of the room. The other sub-waiters were mostly absent as well. Sommelier was very helpful, not only with the wine selection but also in taking our appetizer order when no waiters were in sight. It was a nice summer evening and it would have been nice to have had a drink on the patio, but we were informed there was no room and were ushered into a dark annex to the bar. We got the impression that the place is overwhelmed by its success and that the front part of the restaurant is out of control. Fortunately the kitchen is working fine, so the food was quite good."

  • "This was our second time dining at Ninety Acres. We went on a Thursday evening because we were celebrating our 12th anniversary and it fell on a Thursday. That being said, we were surprised that the food delivery was slow. The drinks and first courses were served but it took a long time for the entrees to be served. It was a good 15 minutes or so before the entrees arrived (after our first course plates were cleared off our table). Other than that, everything else was wonderful."
