The hostess wazs very helpful with my crutches and put them away for me once I was seated so that I wouldn't trip anyone and, when I needed them she promptly got them for me. The waiter added a happy birthday chocolate mini card to my dessert, but thankfully did not make a huge deal of my birthday - at my age I appreciated that. We were greeted & seated promptly even though we were early. We sat in a booth right by the kitchen window which both my husband & I loved. We ordered the scallops & mussels to start. I had never had mussels before & was blown away by the dish we were served. The portions were generous & we were happy we didn't order a salad too. Our main course & cocktails were tastier than we could have imagined. We had the sambuca prawns & the lamb. Dessert was delicious & we were completely stuffed when we left here. Nineteen is a fantastic continuation of an already stellar resume for Chef. This is the place to go for upscale casual in Southwest Edmonton. The good is delicious wine is outstanding and live the suspected. We always have a fantastic time when we are there. Often just go to the lounge for a relaxing glass of wine and cheese platter. Other dishes eaten at out table were the hoisin short ribs and the duo of lamb and they too were melt in you mouth tender. Only negative for us was the noise level. Every bite we had was outstanding - every dish is done with flavour and presentation in mind. Ask for a booth by the kitchen window- it's fun to watch the goings-on in the kitchen. The portions are just right. It was busy but staff were attentive and overall great. I had the spicy sambuca tiger prawn linguini. It was alright wished I tried the lamb dish. As on the first visit the restaurant did not disappoint. There was a prompt and friendly greeting upon entering. The wait staff were professional, knowledgeable, attentive and non-intrusive. The menu was varied and it was hard to make a decision as everything sounded scrumptious. The food was nicely plated, hot ,well prepared and delicious. The wine list was somewhat limited however it came at different price points.
Overall this is a dining spot that I will continue to come to and recommend to friends.

A really really nice new restaurant!loved the semifredo. Mussels and tuna for appetizer,really special taste . Wine selection was really impressed,they got this technique to preserve the wine so u can get a taste of the premium wine without having to buy a whole bottle! So nice for a couple who normally can't drink up the whole bottle during a meal.service is good. The food was fresh with vibrant flavours. The servings were more than adequate. The service from our waiter was wonderful and attentive without being overly intrusive.
