NinaMother's Day a SuccessMany thanks for the great service. I recently took out my Mother, Grandmother, Fiance and little sister to Nina for a Sunday evening dinner and it was a great time. Very ashamed of myself for just now going. Please go soon....the chef is amazing, food pricey but GENEROUS food portions. I mean, even the arugula salad with avocado and roasted tomatoes will knock your socks off. Had the salmon, parm/garlic fries, creme brûlée, and topped off with 16 yr old lagvulen. What a night! Can't remember our servers name for the life of me but incredibly attentive and reaaaally knew her food well! Was 4 for 4 on the recommendations! The staff heard we were celebrating our anniversary, and made the whole evening extra special, decorating the dessert plate for the occasion.
The food was terrific; it was a Tuesday night and very quiet; have been there when it was much busier. However, we didn't ask to move, so one could say it was our fault. I am not from the area and visited my girl celebrating her birthday. I requested and recieved a quiet,private table. I also had a beautiful flower arrangement delivered to the reastaurant that was a huge hit with my girlfriend. The waitress was cute, pleasant and excellant giving us wonderful service. I had a NY strip steak and my date, the filet. Our meals were excellant.We love the atmosphere and "feel" of the place.
