A Re-Concepted Restaurant in the Fabled Carlos’ Space by Carlos and Debbie Nieto. Nieto's is decoratively updated although the gracious wood paneled walls remain. The dining room still has an imtimate feel to it, with a more "club" like atmosphere. The menu is extensive but familiar with modern day… tweeks. Comfortable for family gatherings and dates alike. "It was a busy Sat night. Our table was ready for us-which is a great start. It is a beautiful restaurant. But the noise level is way too loud. We were seated in the back which was probably quieter.I can't imagine how loud it is in the middle of the room.
The food was good, great friendly waiter. Three of our 4 entrees came out together and the forth was about 5 minutes behind. I am not sure what happened there.
We look forward to going back!"

"Buzzing restaurant with perfectly done pub food to finer dining options. Everyone had the specials in our group - fish and bone-in pork chop. Both spectacular. Carlos' quality high end service. A bit noisy, but great vibe. Debbie Nieto (matre D) made sure we were seated by our reservation time!"

"The noise level made it impossible to hear from across the table. Also, the tables were placed so close together that the next table's group could have been part of our party. The wait staff was accommodating, but could hardly hear orders or deliver the food.

We will return as the food was good and the menu covered all price ranges and palates. But it will be on a weekday to see if the same situation exists. If so, we will not return."

"Dry fish, very limited menu and a wait staff that is purely focused on pushing the most expensive items. And if your average meal prices range from 12 - 22 dollars I think you should call it out if your fish special is $35!!Wife and I would not recommend."

"We were glad to have the one "out of the way" table. The main dining room was much too crowded, with tables right on top of each other. It is very noisy with so many people crowded into the small space. The fish dishes were all delicious. However, there was an "ok" response on the short ribs."

"oh my we are sooo happy that this yummy restaurant is in walking distance to our home....we try to go once a week ....it is consistently deelishous. the veggie burger the regular burger and the chicken have a lll been wonderful....do not miss the pudding in a vintage container....."
