Prix Fixe menu for evenings when there is a show, which is what we partook of. A very nice range of choices so different tastes can be accommodated. Our main waitperson was excellent, the wrap-around service was a little spotty as the bar was very busy, (ie bought the drink for my lady) but the correction response was good. Food presentation was excellent as was preparation we had the scallops and short rib entree, both were excellent. Great pastry chef who lived up to the hype of our waitperson. I was put off by this at first, but, went for it anyway and was more than pleased with the result. However, after being told by our wait-person that on performance nights at NJPAC, the deal was what was offered, period, two old biddies sat next to us and had desserts and coffees, period.

Tje $42 pre-theater prox fixe is exceptional value. So when our party of 8 bought tickets for an event at NJ PAC, it was a no-brainer to make reservation for dinner at Nico.
Our reservation was honored. The food and service were, as usual, excellent. A good time was had by all.
