"Food presentation was as excellent as its taste. Our service was a bit rushed but knowledgable. The sports tv monitors gave it less of a "classy" ambiance than it could have had without them. On performance nights you only had the choice of a prix fixe menu at tables, while, if seated at the bar you had more menu flexibility."

"We went there for pre-concernt dinner, and had very bad experience. First, before we were asked about drinks, we had to wait long and we had to request that we need to order. When we were ordering, they said that they had 3-course pre-fix only. We planned to have a light dinner like pizza or something, but we were told that the pre-fix was the only choice. For 8:00pm performance, it was a little before 7:00pm. When we asked about the timing, they said it works. The food was not coming as we expected, and after we had appetizer and entree, we decided to go without dessert, because (i) we were running out of time; and moreover, (ii) the food was bad! It was not tasty at all. I do not recommend this place."

"The lunch menu was varied and the food good. The dinner menu has to be worked on,too few options,and only if you order a complete dinner. A good place in Newark to have a relaxing lunch or dinner before a performance."

"The service was stellar at Nico's and the food delicious. My chilled poached asparagus appetizer was perfect, as was my husband's scallop salad. I ordered the lamb shank which was tender and delicious, and a very large serving. My husband ordered the cod, which was perfectly prepared, but was one very small piece of fish, quite a disparity in the serving size as compared with the lamb."
