Nick's Fishmarket - RosemontNice little Gem!My husband and I were visiting Chicago and ended up staying close to the O'Hare Airport. We were looking for something a little more "special" and stumbled accross Nick's Fishmarket in Rosemont. The experience and food was really wonderful. The staff was amazing and very attentative, but the food was really the star. I don't like seafood at all and the filet mignon that I ordered was cooked to perfection. My husband, who does love seafood, had the lobster bisque and thought it was one of the best he's had. He was also very pleased with his diner selection. Ambience was very nice, staff exceptional and food was wonderful. Overall experience was great. One drawback was parking. If a spot was not available in the very few that they had in the front of building, you had to park in the rear and walk all the way around. There was a door to the building in the back but was locked. Nicks never fails to provide the best fresh fish in town and provide impeccable service. Always on a Thursday, the first night we are in town. The food is extremely good. Service is properly formal, yet friendly. Even though we only are in town twice a year they remember us and treat us as welcome guests.
