Parking Details: Mandated by CalTrans, Nick's Cove provides complimentary valet parking Saturdays and Sundays. On other days, patrons may park their vehicles in our parking lot which is located adjacent to the restaurant, on the east side of Highway One.

"The restaurant is super rustic and charming and adorable. They start you out with warm bread and butter with salt on top- so delish! All the food was good, service was very attentive except for our server who seemed to be ignoring us. Luckily, the expeditors and bussers made up for him. Would definitely return!"

"Very disappointing altho the waiter made up for it. Not sure if new owners or what but really understaffed and had to wait for long time between courses and it seemed like there was only one waiter--sorry for him but disappointed in the management!!!"

"A reasonable choice in the Pt Reyes area. Food for a group of 4 was hit and miss. In general- small portions, higher than average pricing. An $80 bottle of wine was recommended which should not have been 'pushed'! Nothing unique here. The atmoshphere is good. The bar and bartenders were noteworthy.
It is not as good as other choices in the area, and more highly priced.
I would recommend it......IF........you have tried all others and run out of ideas. Be mindful what you order will most likely not be filling."

"We had a lovely drive out to the coast and enjoyed a delicious brunch of Crab benedict and poached eggs on creamy polenta with shrimp and pancetta. This was great as we shared and had a taste of both dishes. They are quite filling. Service was fantastic and we had a wonderful experience."

"Nick's Cove is on the coast in northern Marshall a little difficult to get to but worth the drive. We started with appetizers first a bowl of mussels with choriso in a champagne broth both gentle and tasty and 12 medium sized oysters - 6 BBQ'd oysters, 6 oven baked oysters - both very fresh and excellent but pricy at $16 per HALF dozen...(they raise them right there in Marshall). Main course was 1/2 roasted Petaluma free range chicken over a bed of wild mushroom risotto - excellent; gnocchi with roasted veal - tasty but gnocchi was gummy and too heavy; lamb sirloin pan sauted with veggies done perfect medium rare. Service was very attentive and friedly."

"As usual both the food and service were wonderful. The view can be beaten. Speaking of 'beaten'..how about the roof being beaten on while you're trying to enjoy your meal!? I imagine it had to be done but not a good idea. Will I come back? You betcha."

"We had heard that there were troubles at Nick's Cove, but whatever they were, they aren't there any more. It's an amazing place that can be both "kid friendly" and "romantic" at the same time, but Nick's Cove manages to pull it off with great panache. The food and service, which we'd found superb when we visited a few years ago, are if anything even better now, and, of course, the view of Tomales Bay is always inspirational."
