  • "Oh Yes the Polenta Fries were magnificent. The waitstaff was attentive. The Pork Chop I had was quite tasty but my wife's fish was just as good as she thought it would be. Definitely a place we will go back to if we can get a reservation. Place is hoppin."

  • "In June 2014, my wife and I dined at Nick and Toni's restaraunt in East Hampton to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversay. The food was excellent and the staff was courteous and very professional, from making the intial reservation to paying the bill. This was our first time at the restaraunt; we have had a second home in East Hampton for the past 12 yearsand we definitely would come back again. Yes, it is moderate to highly priced, but not too outrageous. Compared to other restarunts in the Hamptons, the food here, for the price, is at the very top of the list. I highly recomnmend it for celebrating a special occasion!"

  • "first table near front very noisy. Staff graciously found another very quickly. food: 3 appetizers, 1 pasta. fried ravioli with fois gras - filling too liquid. sardines - good. grilled baby octopus - too smoky masked octo. flavor. pasta with lamb ragout - good, but not outstanding. kind of flat. portions fine. service pleasant; staff professional. very nice. we'll be back but latter this summer. thank you."

  • "I am from NYC and whenever I go to the Hamptons, I make sure I get a reservation (weeks in advance) at Nick and Toni's. Nick and Toni's never disappoints! The food is ridiculously good. The wood fire chicken and the zucchini chips are my favorite two things to get. The rib eye steak is incredible as well. The desserts are amazing, especially the key lime fried mini doughnuts."

  • "Can't figure why it was so hard to get a reservation here. We got there at 8:00 left at 9:30. All parts of the restautant were 1/4 empty.(except outside) Food was average. Our server was below average but rest of the staff was nice. Bar was fun."

  • "It was packed, we had reservations and still had to wait a half hour to be seated. They try to talk you into the 2 course for $35 or the 3 course for $55 deal, but then mention that with the deal the portions are smaller. The food was really good, just very expensive. Nice for a special occasion."

  • "I have been to Nick and Toni's numerous times and have never had a bad meal. Food is fantastic and service is good."

  • "Meal was outstanding. One of the best steaks ever! Asparagus out of this world. At reservation, mentioned it was my wife's birthday. A candle in a spectacular Panna Cotta dessert was served without any further request. They made note of it and surprised us both. Andy, our server, was terrific! Every recommendation of his was a thumbs up!"

  • "I booked thru open table. I requested a booth. When we got there they said they tried calling me to tell me there were no booths available. We sat at a table that was in an angle. Very uncomfortable. We were two people and noticed there were many other nicer tables for two that weren't taken. ????? We should have been seated at a table for 2 not 4. The waiter was very attentive but never fixed the crooked table. Also they charged is extra for olives in our martini. What's up with that. But what saved the restaurant experience was the food. It was prepared perfectly. I had the sword fish. My husband the pork chop"

  • "This is a place that has its act together and has for a long, long time. The food is so delicious, the wine so thoughtful, you'd think you were in a top-notch Hamptons restaurant, which of course you are, however the decorating is so restful and the staff so competent and so very helpful, you feel like you're among friends."

  • "Had a delicious dinner here on a Sunday night in June - the food was excellent as was the service. I will return soon. The menu was interesting."

  • "Had a wonderful time dining at the bar with family on a special evening. Dinner was delicious; we shared the baby grilled octopus and the red snapper. Staff was also great; Danny, the bartender was attentive and very good at keeping everybody happy. "

  • "The food is excellent and when you do prix fixe a nice price. There are wonderful choices."

  • "The sardines as an appetizer were very good. Someone in our dinner party had the quail and remarked that it was very dry. The chicken breast was equally as dry. The salads were delicious with just enough well seasoned dressing. The snapper with cockles was excellent and very moist and flavorful. The waiter was good but not as entertaining as the server last time. It was a pleasant evening, but because it was the evening of Memorial day, the prix fixe was not offered, so that was a minor disappointment. I wish that a green vegetable were served with the entree, instead of feeling obligated to purchase a side. "

  • "Food and service, always great. Unfortunately the renovation—although understandably better for service flow—left us a little cold. We missed the cottage-y look of the previous dining room(s). We'll just have to dine al fresco the next time we're there. "

  • "The air conditioning system blew cold air on our table. It was uncomfortable. They tried to fix it but did not succeed. Otherwise it was a great dining experience "

  • "Craftily managed, thoughtful and caring staff, even on the cusp of high season, this outstanding restaurant serves to please. Careful, considerate, professional servers, superb wine list and knowledgeable staff, with waitstaff seamlessly providing well-trained guidance. Nick & Toni's is our local, trusted mainstay. and where we feel comfortable bringing out of town guests to have an even and satisfying as well as entertaining evening."

  • "We were all set for a great dining experience, but Nick & Toni's didn't quite measure up. Our table was in the servers' traffic pattern, and my wife almost felt as though she had to duck a few times. The service staff was friendly and attentive...almost too much so. Nothing subtle about them staring at our table to see how we were doing! And the food...well, it was OK. My wife's crispy Red Snapper was by far the best thing put on the table (server's recommendation); the rest of it was kind of...meh. Could have, and should have, been so much better!"

  • "For great food, atmosphere, service and a dining experience, Nick & Toni's is the best of the best. I've been coming for 16 years and it is always a good time... Spring, summer, winter and fall."

  • "In late December of 2001 my wife and I had a spontaneous dinner at Nick & Tony's. Everything there was perfect (atmosphere, tuscan decor, tasty dishes and profiterole to die for). Since than Nick and Tony's was an ideal for us. So, we decided to go back after almost 13 years. Unfortunately this place went through renovations and lost that Tuscany touch (no more ceramic tables, grape wines, mosaic etc). Dishes on the menu were changed of course, my wife initially mixed up and was not happy with her order. However, she was offered another choice and that was perfect. Service remains good after many years."

  • "The food was off the chart's great. Was so good I went back the next day."

  • "The pasta with lamb was tasty ---I asked for no olives. The best part was my antelope. It was not gamey but tasty and just the right amount of accompaniments. To make it all even better there is a three course option for $40 which makes this excellent restaurant reasonable for what you get. "

  • " The service at our table was very good because of our charming server who advised us on our selections and was fully apprised about the preparation of the food. She was witty and refreshing and told us she was from Zambia. The salads were delicious-the olive tapenade dressing was excellent but subtle. Some in our party enjoyed the shrimp ravioli with a delicate sauce. The branzino was good, the swordfish was nice, but tasted on the fishy side and the accompanying green beans were almost raw. The sea bass was a hit, but the veal chop was disappointing as it was a little overcooked and dry. We split the tartuffo for dessert, and it was fabulous. Overall, a wonderful evening and I think one of the best restaurants in East Hampton!"

  • "I do not understand why I had to make reservations weeks in advance for a restuarant that is not so great. I much prefer the East Hampton Grill. The interior design was boring- spare, but not contemporary. Service just ok. The food is ten times better at the East Hampton Gril or Pierres. I do not understand what all the fuss is about. I paid alot for a very mediocre meal. There are much better restuarants in East Hampton, Bridge Hampton , Sag Harbor and in Montauk. I do not reccommend this restuarant and I will never go back . I was celebrating my birthday with my husband and we were extremely dissapointed. "

  • "Hard to believe but Nick and Toni's in East Hampton just keeps getting better. Kirsten and Samantha are amazing hostesses and Danny masterfully runs the bar. Every time we try something new on the menu we are impressed. The minute we leave we start planning our return visit."

  • "Nick & Toni's continues to serve up good food. We enjoyed a tasty cauliflower appetizer, lightly fried, clean salads, and delicious entrees. The tab is a bit pricey, but that's not a surprise in the Hamptons. The welcome surprise here is that the tab buys you a delicious dinner and solid, personable service, two qualities often lacking on the East End."

  • "Dinner at Nick & Toni's was delicious...as usual. I had the snapper...a bit salty, but very good and my husband had the chicken which he raved about. Service there is terrific...especially by Luis M. who was attentive, informative and pleasant. Thanks for another lovely dinner! See you soon."
