Everything is prepared beautifully, and with a rich palette of flavors. The soups are truly special. Courses come out of the kitchen with alacrity.. timing is excellent. But we decided to take my mother there for her birthday. It was AMAZING! Yes...a little on the pricey side. But not terrible. And definitely more affordable if you don't order as many appetizers and glasses of wine as we did. We especially appreciate the sommelier and his knowledge of french wines. The restaurant was also accomodating since it changed our arrival time a bit and added an additional person. The lamb shank with eggplant and polenta had a fabulous sauce and the chicken was aromatic with herbs. Portions were quite large. Vegetable soup was one of the best I ever had.
