A very nice addition to the area. Service was prompt and the wine list is very good. The menu is bistro style and the food was outstanding. Portion sizes are on the large size, so they are easy to split.

I held a bookclub meeting there for our group of four. Our server Stephanie was very professional; she answered all our questions about the food and recommended nice wines to complement our choices. She was very unobtrusive during our discussions yet we never lacked for anything. Everyone enjoyed the appetizers, entrees and wine; it was all very delicious! We will definitely meet here again.

Fun menu, very imaginative, be it a appetizer, pizza, salad, sandwich or daily special. We had an amazing dish....it was 3 giant prawns with mushrooms, wraped in filo dough, fried with a delicous "scrape the plate" sauce. YUMMY Staff very friendly and knowledgeable, both waitstaff and bartenders. I like that they let you sample a wine before you order a glass. Our new favorite place to dine.

Our view was a brick wall and it was tight. Also our food was not anything to write home about. I had the seafood linguini and my husband had the salmon. Nothing about either one of them was memorable. But,they did just start doing brunch and the menu looked interesting so we may give it a second chance as long as where not seated at the brick wall. The seating by the bar looked like it would be a better place to sit

This is a lovely new spot and a great addition to the far north suburbs. The menu is interesting and well-priced, the decor is very warm and welcoming and the service is friendly and capable. We would recommend this in every way, and would rate the food higher except for one thing... salt. Please, chef; back away from the salt shaker. Even by standard restaurant fare, this was over-the-top salty. Still, we do recommend Next and look forward to going back. Just a little tweaking needed....

Made a reservation a week in advance. However, when we got there, they couldn't find our reservation and we had to wait for 20 minutes. It was very crowded (on a Thursday night), noisy, and there were a lot of kids. Service was just so-so. The food was good, however, and priced reasonably. Not what I would expect from a "gourmet" restaurant, however. Not a special occasion restaurant; more a weeknight with the kids restaurant. Don't know if I would go back.

Excellent food. They are newly opened and the menu is currently pretty limited. Prices are little high, especially compared to other restaurants in this area (prices were comparable to Los Angeles, where I just moved from). Wines by the glass were pricey and offered a very poor selection. But as mentioned, food was excellent! Appetizers and flatbreads offer a great value as they are generous portions.

Made a reservation and was placed in a very small two seat table and our food did not fit on the table. We were rushing our food so we'd have room on the table only two plate fit at time. The owner came over and said we should never have been place here if we had made a reservation. She move us to a four top and we had a great experiance.

It was our first time--three couples. Had asked for quiet location for conservation and had the best table for that. There are no really quiet nooks but noise was not a problem. Terrific food. A friend had recommended the pork belly steamed bun appetizer and it's a real winner. Everyone was very pleased with his/her meal. Will definitely return.

We saw the reviews on Open Table and decided to try Next for a family Christmas dinner. It has a real neighborhood feel with nothing too fancy. They were busy so the service was a little hectic. For the most part our party was very happy with the food, including well done appetizers and good desserts. The Alfredo sauce on the special was a little thin for those who tried it, otherwise, the food was very good. We liked enough to know that we will go back.

I've been to this new restaurant several times for lunch and dinner, but WON'T be going back for dinner. My family ate there last night for my son's 14th birthday. The foodies still wonderfully, mbut the service was not. Waited 15 minutes for drink order, then they practically pulled tg salad forks from our hands to bring entree. We were squeezed between a party of about 20 20-something's celebrating way too loudly and sometimes crudely,mandctwo-deep cowboys at the bar. the final insult was the lack of acknowledgement for our birthday boy.

Went for dinner on a Monday night with 3 female friends. I would highly recommend the NEXT Wood Fired Bistro & Vino Bar. My martini was excellent! The Field Green Salad was perfect - good portion size - great dressing. I finished with a flat-bread (oven-dried tomatoes, mozarrella and herb butter) - which was delicious. Had a group of ladies sitting next to us - and we ended up comparing dishes with them - they were equally as pleased with their meals. Hope to return soon with my husband.
