A word from Newport Bar and Grill
For a elevated bar experience without the pretense, airs, and high prices of many Wrigleyville bars, check out the old-favorite-under-new-ownership pub The Newport. New tables and great bench seating surround a glossy, three-sided wooden bar, where locals gather to socialize, watch sports, and enjoy inexpensive drinks. We are a true "everyone knows your name' neighborhood bar; no need to dress up, just plan to be comfortable and enjoy yourself. A great new international burger menu, combined with the best of our old favorites, makes Newport a great place

Our kitchen stays open late, till midnight every night, serving amazingly high-quality bar food at surprisingly down-to-earth prices. Fare includes Traditional American and classic grill dishes, all at generous portions. Favorites include handcrafted burgers, creative chicken sandwiches and salads, fantastic steak fries and jumbo chicken wings.

Bottomless mimosas were a hit. The hummus is something to pass on. We sat out side, got some sun. Nothing to write home about, but simple food for a simple Saturday brunch.

Newport started out looking like a common neighborhood pub/bar. But the menu was very interesting and creative. Also, there was a great wine selection. Normally I don't like "bar wine", but this was a very nice collection.
