  • "Some of the best food for afternoon tea I have experienced so far. Reservations for tea is always a good idea, especially as there are many walk-ins as well. The Peter Pan theme throughout the room is a nice feature to help make the setting relaxed and enjoyable, and not overdone. Great place and will definitely go again!"

  • "From the ambience alone I knew Neverland Tea Salon was a place I would frequent. The extensive tea list is only a fraction of the experience I had. While enjoying flavourful sips of tea from beautiful bone china, I was also treated to the cutest most scrumptious bites of delicious sandwiches and pastries. The servers were inviting and sweet, and helpful in selecting from the magical menu. The tables and chairs, beautiful; and the hutch filled with never ending piles of teacups and saucers sent me to a different world altogether. A fun spot for kids and kids at heart, and a place I will return again and again should I need either a yummy spot of tea or a lift of spirit. Thank you for the pleasurable experience."

  • "Love love love Neverland Tea Salon! The service is wonderful with an outstanding tea selection. Most importantly to me, the staff are so friendly and curtious to my infant son, making us feel very welcome and comfortable. He adores going to Neverland as much as I do."

  • "Very gluten-free friendly. Took my Mom for tea and it was the perfect place. Very cute. Scones were delicious, perfectly warm and orange infused. Yum!"

  • "Had the $30 high tea set, awesome tea selections, great service, and very pretty decor. The high tea portion was not much though, but tasted very well :) Loved it!! Definitely one of my favorite afternnon tea place in town!"

  • "Neverland hits all the right notes for a fabulous place to spend time with a friend over carefully prepared and yummy gourmet food. People with food preferences welcome. Makes the occasion memorable. One suggestion - choose different music. "

  • "I was really keen to try this place with its appealing theme and décor, and good reviews. But it definitely didn't live up to expectations. First, we had to wait 55 minutes for our sandwiches. One (our) server was very busy, the other one stood around a lot. Both very nice: did the problem come from the kitchen? We'll never know for the food arrived without apology or explanation. Second, my onion tart was on a very dark (dare I say burned?), impenetrable to fork and knife puff pastry. Another sandwich was over-toasted. And, to boot, my jasmine tea was too strong. When I asked for more water, the server offered to make another pot with a shorter steeping time. I didn't ask but couldn't help wondering how long it had sat...."

  • "Went here for Mothers day and it was perfect! The decor is so perfect for a girly tea party. Peter Pan inspiration. All the tea cups are different and unique. Our server was very friendly and attentive, explained all the foods that were served on out tier. Great for all ages. They even have alcohol infused tea! The classic high tea experience with a fun refreshing touch!"

  • "Went for mother's day brunch and 2 of us are gluten free, one being a child and we all had a great experience and enjoyed the food very much. Would definitely recommend it. The staff were very friendly and helpful as well. "

  • "Had an absolutely wonderful experience here. Being a Peter Pan junkie myself, the ambiance and decor was spectacular and so whimsical. Our server was fantastic, and really went into detail about the food and tea options and provided great recommendations. My best friend is severely allergic to dairy, peanuts, and strawberries, and we were simply astounded by the variety of options for dairy free needs. We were over the moon at the fact she got to eat a grilled cheese sandwich (which FYI was even more delicious than my regular grilled cheese), scones, and Devonshire cream. We left with huge smiles on our faces that last the remainder of the weekend. Highly recommend this for any occasion! I will be back!"

  • "This is a gem of a place for that special Tea event. Service & ambience perfect. The decor has been thoughtfully chosen & tables arranged in such a way that you really are not aware of other diners."

  • "The food is stupendous...as perfect as you can get. Service is always a bit awkward and the seating is very uncomfortable and crowded. Cold tea in stainless steel pots, not so good- at least give us a cozy. "

  • "Although the location is a little bit out of the way for me, I decided to give this a try for my best friend's birthday outing. It was an amazing experience. My friend must follow a gluten-free, dairy-free diet -- she is also a huge fan of tea and she loves Peter Pan. This place couldn't have been more perfect. We had high tea and the staff were so friendly and helpful. She had the gluten/dairy-free version and I had the regular. We were both very impressed with the quality of the food and ingredients. Every bite was a delight, even things I was little weary of to start. For instance, I am not a big fan of egg salad, but the curried egg salad finger sandwhich was lovely. The desserts were especially great, and I loved the jam."

  • "A lovely High Tea experience! We celebrated our daughters 7th birthday with a delightful High Tea Easter brunch at Neverland Tea Salon. An enchanting combination of both whimsical and traditional English tea service. I would highly recommend this restaurant for truly magical High Tea experience for both young and old!"

  • "This was my second time having high tea at this place. I love it! I referred my sister to this place as well and she loves it too. The food is good the pricing is reasonable as well. I also love the fact that it's kid-friendly. My sister brought my niece last week and my niece loves it! Not many high-tea places have kids menu so I'm glad this place has it. I love the tea selection. Offers a really good variety which makes this place perfect for anyone to come and enjoy. I definitely will come back to this place again for high-tea and maybe to try their lunch menu as well."

  • "We would prefer less modern music that would go better with the suroundings (classical, jazz, english pop...). The music should be less loud, more as a background."

  • "I recommend this spot for anyone that is wanting a little bit of an escape. Having tea in such a sweet little salon is just the perfect way to spend a morning or afternoon. The staff are very friendly and make you feel very comfortable. The finger sandwiches are amazing and the little desserts are the perfect portion sizes, for someone that wants to eat a huge cake lol the tea selection is awesome and you get a large amount of tea in one tiny tea pot. Try this little fairy tale place out and I'm sure you won't be disappointed! "

  • "This is our first time visiting Vancouver. Neverland didn't let me down! They are super friendly, willing to explainand, and response to email real quick. Food are good and you have to try the tea, they are awesome!! They named the tea with interesting name, like, take me to neverland, thinker bell kiss, Peter's promise. The declaration are pretty too. Will visit again for sure."

  • "This is a great place to go for lunch or tea with the girls - most men (my husband included) might find it too feminine. This is the second time my girlfriend and I had lunch here. The brie, fig, and pear sandwich is to die for, and the tea selection is wonderful. The young man who served us was excellent. We will definitely go back! (note: if you are hard of hearing you might want to avoid peak times)"

  • "I like tea shops, but this one has a great ambience and the teas are fabulous. A bit more expensive, but you get a better experience than drinking a tea in a nearby coffee shop chain. I love to take my friends to Neverland Tea Salon and it is always busy there."

  • "I went to Neverland for high tea for my Birthday and had a wonderful time! The sandwiches and scones were delicious, the decor was adorable and the service was excellent. I especially loved that I was able to try as many different kinds of tea as I wanted with the high tea, and my dining companion loved that she could get gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian high tea. My only issues were that, while the chairs looked cozy and quaint, mine way very uncomfortable, and was at an awkward level with the table (we were seated by the window). Also, I wasn't in love with the desserts. However, overall, I would recommend Neverland to anyone and can't wait to go back again."

  • "We enjoyed this place for high tea and was impressed that you can sample multiple teas and they do a very good job of steeping the teas so that there are no leaves in the tea cup. Lots of charm and very cozy. I especially appreciate the fine bone china tea cups, change of tea cups along with the teas, and the opportunity to smell the tea selection, and a take home tea bag of your visit as a souvenir."

  • "The high tea was lovely. It was a pleasant retreat from the rain. Pastries are fresh and scones with clotted cream and jam are lovely. Our group consisted of four people. We all liked the food and the ambiance. What we were not happy with was the white noise. Strongly suggest that the noise level be reduced."

  • "Cute little place. Large selection of teas and the food is really good. Its a little too crowded and tight in space. Also, there was no music, and the lack of it combined with the sound of kids is a little irritating when you're trying to have a relaxing cup of tea..."

  • "A group (7) of us visited Neverland Tea on Saturday, January 18. The table was situated in an accessible location within the establishment. The ambiance was everything you would expect of a high tea experience. I immediately noticed, and remarked, on the china tea cups, fabric serviettes and the nice silverware. The tea menu provided many choices and the brunch menu also had a variety of dishes. Lillian explained the brunch menu and asked each of us if we preferred the regular or gluten/dairy-free version. All in all, we'll be back. Our knitting group gets together at least once per month and we all enjoyed Neverland Tea. Oh, and the food was great! Especially the carrot and ginger soup."

  • "I brought a friend here for her birthday lunch. I was quite excited and expected sort of a whimsical experience. When we got there, the place was nice but nothing really special about it. I wanted it to be like New York's Alice's Tea Cup but unfortunately that's not the case. Also, the place is vegetarian. I wish they also offered some non vegetarian options."

  • "Very white and cold ambiance. Service friendly and helpful, waited about 30 minutes for food to arrive. A delicious flatbread with smoked salmon and creme fraiche to die for. The red onion tart was more puff pastry and not so appealing but the Fig and Brie toasted baguette was great. No topping up of the teapot here, as none had the tea leaves in it having been removed beforehand. (not very english!). The sofa I sat on was a delight to look at but not to sit on for over and hour, it should really be re-sprung and I think matching upholstery for the array of chairs provided would add a more cohesive dining experience. Delightful china cups and dinky milk jugs and sugar/honey bowls. Overall not an english experience but well done for trying."

Luckily, the staff at Neverland Tea Salon contacted me because their store closes at 6 on Sundays. They weren't sure how it managed to allow me to book- we were able to come in earlier and they were very accommodating and gave is exceptional customer service during our visit. We both ordered their Quinoa Super Salad which was so tasty and flavourful - as well as their kids mac cheese (yummy). I had their london fog latte!! Yummy- tha"
