Disappointment - Servers weren't so friendly. Variety of food is limited. Flavors aren't tasteful. This is the third brazillian steakhouse i've been in Orlando, and I guess I was disappointed because it's Park Ave - I had much higher expectations. Maybe it was just a bad night for me to visit.

I thought that the salad bar had an excellent selection. Everything I tried was excellent. The meat that was served was for the most part very tender and had great flavor. The filet wrapped with bacon would have been better if there was a larger piece of filet. all you could taste was the bacon. Overall, the service was good and the food was of good quality.

The food was good but I have been to much better Brazilian restaurants! The salad house is okay but I would say the food is over-rated. The tables are too close to each other that makes it uncomfortable! The meat is medium rare most of the time and I had to wait to get well done meat.

The meat was fine...and for the price, the salad bar was acceptable. We went for lunch and I was pleased to find a $19.95 deal. But I guess I'm spoiled by my previous experiences at another, more expensive, Brazilian Steakhouse. My son is a vegetarian and got no break for skipping the meat, yet the only hot sides he could get were tomato soup, plain rice and mashed potatoes (which were not all that good). Even the black beans had meat in them. We did enjoy many of the cold veggies, though. And for my daughter's birthday, we were to pick off the dessert menu. She LOVED the creme brulee, but it cost $8.95. I'm glad we tried it, but, since it's not all that close to us, it won't be worth the effort to go back.

I enjoyed the food, the service was pretty prompt. However, I did not like that no where could I find what time lunch ended/dinner began. I made reservations for 3pm only to discover that was when lunch ended, so I was charged the dinner price.

Our experience at Nelore was pretty good but I think we could have received better service. My husband and I were looking at the wine list for over 5 minutes trying to find a temperanillo, which they do not offer, and the waiter never came over to ask if we needed help making a wine selection or if we had any questions. When we were sat the waiter asked us if we had ever been there before and we said no, he asked if we had been to any other Brazilian steakhouses before and we said yes, one of the larger chain versions and that was it, he did not offer any explanation as to how they worked, what made their restaurant different than the chains, etc. he simply pointed to where the plates were located. Could have been a better experience.

The salad bar choices were amazing and I would have been satisfied with just that for my dinner. The meat selections were good, however, I felt the constant interruptions to be annoying and we felt rushed through our meal. I would have preferred the meat choices to be stationary and we go to the ones we want. I would not recommend for a date night where quiet conversation is enjoyed. However it would be great for a group setting where all the meat choices would be shared and enjoyed.

My boyfriend and I had always wanted to try a Brazillian steakhouse, but never had a chance since they're pretty expensive. When they released a Groupon, we figured this was a perfect opportunity. The staff was very friendly and helpful when we asked questions, and we felt very comfortable. The location of this restaurant is wonderful since it is in the beautiful Winter Park downtown area. We went to the salad bar first, which is honestly a little misleading since it's more of a side's bar with cold pasta salads, grilled vegetables, hot sides like mashed potatoes and rice and salad. The best part is the meat which keeps on coming. The flank steak and top sirloin were our favorites. We would definitely go again!

We visited on my son's 17th birthday (which I mentioned in my reservation. They didn't seem to pick up on it so after we were settled in I told the server who comped a dessert with candle. We enjoyed the extensive selections from the "salad bar," and everything was fresh, tasty and attractively presented. Some reviewers raved about the tomato bisque; personally I found it forgettable. The staff kept a huge variety of meats coming and we enjoyed all of it. A couple were over-salted, but all were flavorful, most cooked perfectly to medium-rare and some delightfully tender. The beef and pork ribs, and the lamb, were favorites. I had a great martini (I'm picky) and made a mental note to come back for an after-work drink at the pretty bar

Quality of the meat was okay. I like my red meat rare or medium rare, when asked the server, said that all the meats are cooked well done, I would have been okay with a well done because I understand the way they cook is not for individual but the problem was 80% of the meats were over cooked, VERY DRY/BURNT. I guess they were not busy enough and the meats were sitting in a warmer for too long.

My husband and I have dined at Nelore's before for our anniversary and had an exceptional time, however for this anniversary it was not as great. We were expecting fantastic meat choices, but it was lacking and completely overdone for our tastes. Our reservation was at 7 p.m. and we were still looking forward to rare to medium rare meats. We were surprised that there was none available. Would it not be likely that new meats would be put in the broiler or oven for later guests? We were disappointed with the food, but our server, Erin, did a very nice job as well as Antonio, who did his very best to serve us meat temperatures to our liking.

This was my husbands and my 3rd visit to Nelore's. The food bar is displayed so nicely, very eye appealing. All the food taste so fresh and the meat is wonderful. You rarely have to wait for the meat that you would like to come around as the servers are constantly roaming the restaurant. The only downsides that we experience is the noise, poor acoustics, and when the restaurant is full,we found it difficult to get to the food bar. It was like a maze of tables and people. We can only go on Special Occasions due to the cost, however, I feel is not really out of line for what you get. The deserts and coffee's are a bit on the high side and I feel you should have some to choose from that are included in the meal.

My fiancee and I came here during his birthday trip to Orlando. To date we agrees that this is one of the beat restaurants that we've been to. The service was outstanding...we never had an empty glass and once we were ready to change plates the waitress was there to do so. Now let's talk about the food...it was phenomenal. The salad bar was good and the mashed potatoes were great! But the most important part of the meal was the meat! There were so many selections and the waiters were around every corner ready to refill your plate. The ambiance was great for a casual date night much like what we were looking for. A great experience that we are looking forward to reliving when we visit Orlando again.

Nice alternative to the Barzilian BBQ chain restaurants in the area. The owner is on premise and very friendly and approachable. Every member of the staff was polite and attentive. The food was plentiful and very good. Our favorites were the garlic steak, the bacon wrapped chicken and the sirloin. The lamb had an excellent flavor but was a bit dry. A few of the cuts of meat were a bit salty for our taste. The drinks were delicious and quite large for the price. The salad bar was nice but that wasn't the reason we were there... meat was the reason

    OpenTable Diner Since 2009

Nice restaurant in what appears to be a historic area. Restaurant is smaller in size than expected. The meat selection was tasty, but limited. The salad bar was small, but selection adequate. A small hot food bar would be nice. A vegan or non-pork bean offering would be nice. Drinks good, but caprihnas were a ripoff--contained too many limes. Arrived at restaurant when only a few patrons were present. Had to continually ask servers for bread or drink refills. Servers attentiveness was lacking and worse when restaurant filled. Gauchos service was excellent! Glad we went, but won't return or recommend.

I will say that a couple of the items I wasn't crazy about, but it's a Brazilian steakhouse so you can just get something else; you can try everything and then find what you like. I recommend the top sirloin, it's their house specialty.

This was my second visit to Nelore Brazilian Steakhouse. Service was friendly and attentive. Food was excellent. The salad bar has a lot of wonderful treats - asparagus, fresh mozzarella balls, fresh Romano and Parmesan cheeses. But the meats are the stars of the show. The "house special" top sirloin was great, as was the Parmesan pork. But for me the best of the bunch was the flank steak. Fantastic flavor, and very tender. Didn't have dessert. Well, my last piece of flank was really the dessert. Absolutely outstanding restaurant experience.

The staff are polite, kind, and courteous. They are attentive to our needs, paying close attention to our "yes please/ no thank you" cards for more meat service. The salad bar is always well stocked and full of tasty tidbits from balsamic marinated mushrooms, to procuitto and parmesean cheese. The restaurant was very nice. The bacon-wrapped filet mignon was excellent. However, everything else was just above average. The meal did not include grilled pineapple - it was a separate dessert (unlike other Brazilian Steakhouses we dined at in the past). It seemed that they did not have waiters assigned to specific tables. Although the restaurant was not busy, we did not see our waiter that often. We saw the other waitresses more. Overall, a nice experience - but not a memorable one.
