Food was good. The yellowtail sushi was delicious.
The lobster rolls also very good.

We were seated in the cozy upstairs dining area overlooking the bar and restaurant. The land and sea options we had were all very tasty, and the vegetable and rice dishes we shared provided flavorful accents to our main courses.

My wife had the crispy chicken, which had a nice sweet and spicy flavor. I had the beef tenderloin, which was perfectly cooked and cut into cubes with peppers and rice. For a side plate, we shared the vegetable fried rice with a ginger fried egg on top - not the little pieces of egg you normally find - any actual ginger glazed egg! You could tell that the chef knew what he/she was doing as the food had so many different flavors without one of them overpowering the other. So many restaurants over-season and over-sauce these days. You'll pay more than the typical restaurant, however, the portions are fair and the food was outstanding. We were there for mothers day, so it was packed. The beautiful glass and stone open interior seemed to concentrate all the conversations, making for a fairly noisey environment. Service from our waiter was very good, although our food seemed to take much longer to arrive than nearby other tables which had been seated after ours. Food was vividly flavored, and the menu made much of the fact that most of it is locally sourced.

I got the scallops with risotto and he got the shrimp and beef dish. We also ordered the calamari and the wild boar noodles to share. Everything was fantastic! Also, when completing my reservation I mentioned it was his birthday. The waiter brought out a delicious chocolate desert with a candle for him at the end of the night. I thought that was really great as I have not always had waiters follow birthday requests at other restaurants. The downstairs is gorgeous with an appropriate sound level; the upstairs is not nearly as pretty, with a sound level so high we could hardly hear ourselves think. Upstairs vs downstairs; it's a whole different experience. We were there on a Saturday night so there was not an empty table in the restaurant.
Other than the noise level, I have no complaints. Good service, great food, reasonable prices for basic food, high prices for fancier food. Our server Amine was down to earth, friendly, efficient and made some excellent drink, appetizer and entree recommendations. Everything was prepared to perfection with lots of flavor and unique presentations. We left with a doggie bag and our leftovers the next evening were as delicious as the night before. We tried their fried rice, foie gras, oysters, and ribeye and every dish was memorable. The sushi/sashimi platter was also very fresh. Nice wine list. Service was very good and the atmosphere was happy and upbeat. Our only negative was a rather large party of 10 or so that arrived towards the end of our meal.
