I made dinner reservations at NBA
city for as a surprise for my 13 year old son. It didn't disappoint! We had a great time and the restaurant was a lot of fun. The food was good and the service was outstanding. Thanks for a great time!"

Food was less then average.
Service was good as we had a trainee and a trainer taking care of us. French fries where luke warm. Wouldn't recommend it as there are so many other choices within walking distance."

Everything was great other than
our host. When he went to seat us and we asked for a booth he said that he had to ask first and had an attitude about asking if we could change tables. There were several open booths in the restaurant. Out of the entire restaurant there were only four tables taken. When he went to check and see if it was okay he left us in the middle of the dining room wondering where he went and what he was doing. Just a policy that might be best if changed. If a customer would prefer a booth instead of a table and the restaurant is empty it would be a good idea not to make them feel as if they are inconveniencing you. The waiter was very good and our food was amazing. My boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed his birthday lunch."

Walking back and forth between the
2 Universal Parks, we found the NBA City restaurant and of course my two boys HAD to eat there…the food and service were both great. Kids totally enjoyed it and our server really accommodated them. We were there at lunchtime and the restaurant was not that busy -- surprising for a weekday in August. Would highly recommend to anyone not wanting to eat inside the parks..."

The servive was poor, my family
was sat down and virtually forgotten. The restaraunt was not even at half capacity. Things just seemed out of order. The food was also lackluster. The manager did offer his appology and discount."
Dined on 2/19/2014
I had chicken which was very very
dry. The restaurant reminds you of an Applebees but not as nice. They have basketball hoops but you have to purchse coins, seems this should be free, they also have a very expensive, way over priced NBA store. We will not go again."
Dined on 2/18/2014
He loved it! He's a big NBA fan
and absolutely loved this individual."
Dined on 2/16/2014
This place is filled with TVs, has
basketball style arcade games on the lower level, and the menu has all the classic sports bar foods. What more could you want?"
Dined on 2/15/2014
We had a horrible experience, we
where not asked how to have burgers cooked. We were not asked for extras on burgers, they cam out wrong then we where brought cheese on a plate cold to put on burger. Server never came back to check table for refills, only stopped when we where hollering for the manager. He stated we should of flagged him down for drink refills."
Dined on 2/15/2014
We had a variety of dishes all
where great! Decor is fantastic. Ambience nice for family and friends. Would return to NBA."
Dined on 2/7/2014
Food was okay, service was okay.
Nothing extraordinary about this restaurant. I personally will not be going back."

Poor Service. Long Wait, Cold
Food, Overpriced, Go somewhere Else"

We had a 10 pm reservation as our
children were still enjoying the fun in Universal Parks. The server was very friendly & he was exceptional as he took care of our orders even though it was very near closing time when they arrived. Food was very good & it wasn't over priced comparing the other themed establishments. Also had a good time with our kids shooting hoops in the arcade room. Had a great time!!"
Dined on 12/29/2013
Overall our experience was good.
The menu had a lot of choices. Food service was fast. The inside was smaller and less impressive than the outside of the restaurant makes it appear."
Dined on 12/27/2013
our server very nice and was
helpful on recommending very good food. Portions are big :^) very satisfying. able to watch the game in peace with a personal TV. Food came out on time. It was a good spent Christmas Dinner after Island of Adventure with my husband. I made reservation and was seated immediately. Love the store"

My family and I celebrated my
nephew's 18th birthday at NBA City. The food was fabulous, especially the ribs and lasagna. The kids enjoyed shooting hoops before and after dinner."
Dined on 12/15/2013
Food is good, service prompt and
solicitous. The staff is all invested in assuring you have a positive experience. Great way to take a break from the theme park and rest your feet. Still has lots of themed entertainment for the family."

This was our vacation trip to
Disney World and my son (12) wanted to go eat at NBA city. The food was very good and we were glad to see it was not crowded at the time we were there to eat, which was at 8pm. The service was good and my son loved all the basketball memorabilia. It was a good experience."
Dined on 11/26/2013
NBA City was very dissappointing.
Our family decided to celebrate my nephews 16th birthday. We knew immedietly we should of gone to Disney! Our waitress was horrible, rude and didnt ask how she could help at all! Lets just say we wont ever return"

My two kids and I went here for
late dinner and really enjoyed it. Food was great! Loved the atmosphere. We will definitely go again."
Dined on 11/24/2013
Great environment, the food is
exquisite but a little expense. The service is great. We were at 9:45 and unfortunately the baby ribs ran out."

after a full day at universal it
was a great spot to relax and enjoy dinner. my grandson loved all the nab photos, food was good , our server was really nice and we had great service."
Dined on 10/27/2013
A casual dining place with a
basketball theme. Lots of fun, good food and libations, great service."
Dined on 10/30/2013
We ate here since my son loves
bball. We were hoping he could do some shooting for fun but only had the arcade games for shooting. We were disappointed since football was on the tTVs. We would have liked to watch some classic clips or highlights reels of the greats. Ribs were badly burnt but they brought replacements promptly. Overall decent food, but basketball atmosphere was a bit disappointing."
Dined on 10/27/2013
We recently moved to Orlando and
have annual passes to Universal, so we are wanting to try all the different restaurant options at CityWalk. NBA City was our least favorite so far. The service was soooo slow. The food was just mediocre, at best, and the only kind of atmosphere was in the form of a few tvs playing. We will not return and will not recommend to family/friends visiting."
Dined on 10/28/2013
The food was okay and not anything
special. Main reason why I came here was because of basketball. There are two giant screens and multiples televisions spread out in the restaurant. They play ESPN and NBA TV. The place is full of basketball related decorations, like pictures of NBA players and a mural. If you like basketball, check out the place. It was a nice and interesting experience. I would probably go back to see how vibrant the restaurant may get when actual basketball games are on."

We had a party of 6 and 4 of the
dinner orders were wrong......enough said...."

We snuck into nba city at 12:30,
hoping to get a quick bite to eat while avoiding the crowds! We had perfect timing, we got a great booth with a personal tv on espn, my younger brother was in heaven. And our server, Angel, was great! So very hospitable, and friendly. Without a doubt he was the friendliest person I met while at universal. Very attentive without being overbearing. Overall great server, great experience!"
Dined on 10/23/2013
Great experience. Good food.
Seated us earlier than planned. Could use more basketball memorabilia."
Dined on 9/4/2013
This place is awful. The food is
worse than a chain restaurant and the prices are through the roof. The whole NBA experience is not anything special. My son got ribs which had almost no meat or flavor and I got mahi mahi which was rubbery with little flavor."
Dined on 9/3/2013
Our server, super. Dave, from
Ireland. I think a server can make a good meal great or ruin a great meal. Dave made a great meal better. Good food good portions, and great service. Had a good time down stairs after the meal. Great night for a 10 year old birthday boy."
Dined on 9/2/2013
The food was ok. The service was
ok. The waiter was a little pushy. Trying to force us to order more food/drinks and when I didn't want any dessert due to some allergies he got a little more pushy. He ignored me and my wife and talked directly to the kids and tried guilting us to spend more. The place was very boring and I expected a better atmosphere. TGI Fridays is better and cheaper."

We were very happy, and so were
our 8 & 10 year old children with the menu selections. Our food came out with precision timing, and temperatures were perfect! Our waiter was very attentive, and the manager checked in on us as well. Our dining experience went incredibly smooth (not always the case with children). The down side, DO NOT participate in the 3 point shot "game" that is outside the front entrance of the restaurant. The workers were rude, dismal and discouraging. Seriously, you pay $8 for 15 shots in a whopping 45 seconds, really the employees that work this "game" are incapable of being pleasant & fun when participants pay a rate of $12,960/hour !!!! Enjoy the restaurant food & service, avoid the outdoor garbage."
Dined on 8/18/2013
Our server was a salesman, tried
upgrading all our foods to increase our bil for his 18% automatic gratuity. We ordered a coke, he tried t sell us the strawberry lemonade, my son says "sure, that sounds good!" Good thing I said, "how much is the lemonade?" He says "oh, it's $8.95 bc it comes w a souvineer cup". He tried t get our kinda t order the most expensive steaks on the menu, and we felt we were constantly correcting our order to keep it down. For a family of 6 our bill was $158.00."

Every time we visit Orlando for
vacation our son requests to have dinner at NBA City. He loves the atmosphere, the store, games, and TV's with basketball on everywhere."
Dined on 8/9/2013
Our server was Rebecca , she was
awesome ..the food was really good ..the only downfall is that it's at city walk so expect a wait ..but I was able to touch the bronze basketball of my favorite "Kobe Bryant" .....great atmosphere for the whole family"
Dined on 8/11/2013
Very disappointed with our
experience at NBA City. We went there on Universal's meal and a movie plan, which we do very often, and they are definitely not prepared for it. They didn't have a meal and a movie menu, as the other restaurants do. They were not gluten free friendly at all. I have celiac and ended up with a bowl or lettuce. No dressing, no chicken because they weren't sure if it would be gluten free, just a bowl of lettuce. My daughter wanted apple juice instead of soda and was told no because soda is the only drink, besides sweet tea, on the meal and a movie plan. The waiter was nice but extremely scatter brained. He seemed lost a lot and took forever. We were there at least 20 minutes before he finally brought us our drinks."

It was great to visit NBA City,
for a family from Europe and specially for my kids it was a dream to be there and enjoy all the ambience!"
Dined on 7/10/2013
Visited this place as a surprise
for my partner who loves NBA. The reviews I had read prior to booking weren't positive however I am pleased to state that my experience was good, even though I have no interest in NBA. Service was prompt and friendly, food was a little pricey but that's what you get in these places! Overall pretty happy with the experience and would probably go back!"
Dined on 7/15/2013
I liked everything in NBA city,
however, my mashed potato took a lot of time to be already. I ate my meat and just after 10 minutes my mashed potato arrived. But is a good restaurant."
