  • "Great selection of authentic dishes. You won't find better Humous outside the Middle East. Falafel is amazingly fresh. Shrimp was excellent. Chicken was juicy, perfectly cooked. Great Cabs from Lebanon vineyard. Archicture and design is very modern and advanced. John Wilson is an excellent waiter. Service was very good. I will definitely be back."

  • "Great neighborhood find. Excellent Lebanese food in a quiet but tasteful atmosphere. Staff was friendly, service was very good. Any restaurant that has Ch Musar on their wine list is excellent"

  • "We enjoyed our dinner. It was number three in our NYC dinner reservations overall.. Food was good. Not fantastic. Service good...not fantastic... Hostess was outstanding for the entire dinner process including a bathroom malfunction. If I was a New Yorker I would return... I would not go back as a tourist because there are so many places to go....more than adequate but not sensational ..it was an area I will explore next time....ambience was very cool....no bar to wait in...what can I say ....."

  • "Nays serves outstanding fresh and flavorful food. Many small plates, salads, and entrees are available. Just be prepared for a slow meal and very relaxed service. We often had to flag down the waitstaff who generally ignored us. Luckily we had plenty to eat while we waited for someone to pay attention to us. Go for the food but plan for a long evening."

  • "I love this place! The service and food are consistent! Every person I refer to the restaurant always calls me or let's me know what a great suggestion this was! Very authentic! • "So being ethnically Lebanese I am always weary of Lebanese places as I have a high standard. First let me say that ambiance was very modern and chic and the booths felt very cozy and intimate. The service was great, prompt (sometimes too prompt lol) everyone was lovely and nice. Now the food, everything was very well made. The babaganouj was tasteful. The Kibbe neye was great, the main course perfectly cooked and seasoned. While it is not cheap (it is Lebanese food after all) it is worth the money. Will be coming back."

  • "We ordered muhamara it is like ezme, rich flavor, we couldn't get enough of the spice shrimp, so we ordered twice, quibbe, fish with tahine was incredible, the red wine was outstanding, I cannot remember which one we ordered. This place is consistent, always great food and excellent service, it isn't cheap but you get quality in all senses, I will definitely be back."

  • "Every single dish I tried over there was simply awesome, you do need reservations in advance, great people, great service, and even good background music."

  • "The food is outstanding but pricy, it is NYC after all. We had a groupon and the staff were confused about what is included in it. We know that we over paid but we enjoyed the delicious food and the service."

  • "Had dinner with a colleague tonight. Was impressed with all the dishes, drinks, service, etc. Very nice, modern feeling space. Intimate space but still feels roomy and relaxing. A repeater."

  • "My friends and I came here for two of the girls birthdays and we were SO glad we did! Our waiter was very attentive and kind the entire time, and always had a friendly face. The food was amazing, super fresh and authentic! I would recommend this place to anyone who is trying Middle Eastern Food for the first time, or if you are a seasoned pro. There were surprisingly reasonable prices for the super chic atmosphere and the great food and service! The portions were great too!"

  • "The food was great, but it was heavy. The mezzes were particularly delicious. We had the baba ganoush, grape leaves, falafel, and tabbuleh. The restaurant was very small and dark which added to the romantic atmosphere. I loved it overall."

  • "delicious middle eastern food, from someone who grew up on the best! service a little clumsy/akward at times, but staff all very nice. food portions are generous for tapas style dishes and wine poors impressive. can't wait to go back, great find in midtown east!"

  • "My wife and me checked out this place recently. We both liked the friendly service, the quietness (it wasn't very full, hence quiet), and the atmosphere in the restaurant. I loved the food, my wife also liked it. I consider going there again and recommend the restaurant to anybody."

  • "Delicous food in this tiny, rail car shaped mid-eastern restaurant. Almost all tables for 2. Made 8 pm reservation. When we got there, there was no table for 2 ready and none in sight. Seemed like making a reservation was a sham, as there was a 4-top open and they wouldn't give it to us. Kept saying that table was almost ready but it wasn't - they just didn't have a table for 2 at 8pm. 20 minutes of waiting and they finally gave up their 4-top for us. They didn't seem sorry - more like it happens every day. Generous portions, great flavors and spices, delicious mezze and entrees. Backlava was awesome. If you are easy going about disorganized time, and not claustrophobic, it is a delicious and charming spot."

  • "Naya is one of my favorite restaurants in the city. The food is always delicious (especially for garlic lovers), the staff is wonderful, and the venue is small and intimate. I come here way more than I probably should, but never regret my decision. A+ as always!"

  • "Food and service were excellent all around. So much packed into such a small pace but it does not feel confining. Love the space below the seats for coats and bags. Definitely will recommed and go there again."

  • "Live in the neighborhoods and eat here once a week."

  • "This was not a pleasant experience. I came with a groupon for 2 but 3 people, so they wouldn't accept my groupon. Note that I scoured the fine print, and I couldn't find anything in there about needing to be exactly 2 people. Then we went to order wine. They didn't have the wine we ordered. Then we ordered a different one- didn't have that one either. Then the waiter recommended one- out of stock too. Then he brought a bottle of "whatever they had in stock" and it was terrible. Food was food, service throughout the night was slow and inattentive."

  • "We have been for lunch and dinner and thoroughly enjoyed both. Generous portions. Good service. Food is very clean and fresh Interesting wine list including a nice selection of Lebanese wine. They deliver in the neighborhood which we will try."

  • "This is now one of my favorite restaurants in NYC! I can't believe I've lived nearby for 3 years and never tried Naya. The food and service were both incredible. Try the eggplant duo and the mixed grill plate. This is a great spot for a first date, romantic dinner, or catching up with a friend. It's not too loud, but that's probably because it mostly accommodates tables for 2. There was a back room for a party, and maybe 2 tables that can hold 4 people. I will be back again and again."

  • "This city has some pretty terrible Middle Eastern cuisine. Naya is the exception. It's not the mouthwatering mezzes that impressed me and my Lebanese husband, though you really can't go wrong (try the Hummus bi lahme and the duo of eggplant YUM). Nor is it the selection of Lebanese wines (LOVE Wardy). All the popular Lebanese restaurants are competitive when it comes to cuisine. Naya stands out because of its service. There's no waiter, hostess, or busboy at Naya. You can ask anyone for anything and you'll have it in seconds. The restaurant is so small that everyone seems to know each other... even the customers tend to chat with their neighbors across the aisle. Loved it this time, love it every time."

  • "My husband and I think that the food was fantastic. We have been looking for an excellent lebanese restaurant since 1998 when we moved here. By chance we happened by this place. I think we've found our new favorite place. We found it to be extremely small inside but very clean, and the food was the best lebanese that we've ever had. We're still talking about it. For a small party, we highly recommend!"

  • "This was our first foray into Lebanese food, and we enjoyed it quite a lot. Some menu items seemed a bit pricey to me ($8 for four chicken wings and $18 for a chicken shawarma sandwich among them), but the food was very good. I liked the decor a lot, along with the middle-eastern music, and enjoyed a delicious glass of Lebanese wine. The service was good, and I wouldn't hesitate to go back and try a few more things."

  • "We totally enjoyed Naya! Food was great. Our waiter helped us with food selections. My daughter is a vegetarian and there were plenty of choices. The decor is warm and trendy.Music puts you in the mood for mediterranean food.I would highly recommend this restaurant."

  • "Not only is this the best Lebanese food anywhere, it's my favorite restaurant in NYC. My friends and I share several plates off the mezze vegetarian menu and they are all so flavorful and delicious. I take everyone here: friends, business colleagues, out-of-towners, and everyone ends up raving about Naya. The Lebanese beer - Almaza - is a good paring with the food. Do make a reservation for dinner as they get very busy."
