The food was good...in an area with many great restaurant choices. Based on other reviews we are wondering whether this was an off night for the kitchen. The staff provifef friendly service. They have gone to the trouble of marking menu items gluten free...but be very careful to ask about all ingredients. They have Taboulleh marked as gluten free...as best we can tell based on poor advice from a supplier. The manager seemed to be sincere about addressing this.

First time. Wednesday, 10/29, at 6:30, for 2. Falafel appetizer very good. My fish-seafood special was very good and portion generous. Seafood and fish sizes were big. My wife ordered sliced steak, and asked for between medium & medium-well -- little bit of pink in center. Her steak came out rare, so we asked for it to be cooked more, to what had been requested. Steak came back nearly the same -- rare. We didn't send it back a second time (one worries about a cook's "unpredictablet" reaction to doing that). Waiter was great, very understanding, and took her meal off bill. Her meal explains why only 3 stars; had it been cooked correctly, I don't doubt rating would have been 4-stars for Overall and Food. I recommend a try.

Four of us dined at Naya Mediterranean Restaurant and all our meals were delicious. I do gluten-free, as does my husband. I had the seafood medley which would have been served on pasta, but mine was with spaghetti squash and it was delicious! We all plan to return.

We've been here many times. High end Meditteranean cuisine. The chef/owner, Tony Hamati, is always in the kitchen and comes out occasionally to warmly greet guests. Their new wine list is very good, and I especially recommend the delicious Antinori Supertuscan, $11 glass and $42 bottle. Beautiful fresh salads, large portions. Great happy hour!

This restaurant in a great location just misses the mark all the way around. When we arrived at 6:30 on a week night there were only 3 tables with diners. The waitstaff was attentive but not very well informed about the menu. The music was very strange & loud for people trying to talk. The hummus appetizer was OK but the pita that came with it was stale. The entrees were unimaginative, my shish kabob was just OK. I would not return for another visit & would not recommend this restaurant

  • Great interior, service was uneven

Great interior, beautiful ambience, luxury look and feel. Service was uneven, and not special. It was awkward, another way to put it. We ordered a glass of wine, which did not match the description required and we sent it back. We were not offered a choice of another selection, but evidently what the manager preferred, so we did not have a chance to choose again. This selection was very good. We were billed for the value of the new glass of wine, which was twice the cost of the original. That would seem more reasonable if we had a say in the selection. So again,a bit awkward. Another example was what the waiter decided to put into the take home box, from his plate. Instead of putting what was left on his plate, he selectively picked items.

Enjoyed as always. Food is very good and came out quickly and cooked as ordered. Ate in the bar this time. It was very comfortable and our waitress (and bar tender) was very attentive and helpful with menu items. Nice the bar is not plastered with TVs. We were fairly early (6ish) and the noise level was not bad -- good if you have hearing difficulties.

The design of Naya is lovely. Open spaces, ample room between tables and comfortable booths. The food was good, not spectacular, but good. The service was a bit over the top ... it's nice to have someone check on you once in a while but not every 5 minutes. It was a bit disruptive, even though I know they were just trying to be helpful. I would go back and try it again ...

We went for lunch. We started with the hummus, which was good but pita bread was not soft. Then had the salmon salad & the Chopped Falafel Tabbouleh salad. The salmon salad was good with large portion of salmon but the Falafel salad left my friend and me picking chopped parsley out of my teeth. I would not recommend this salad. My suggestion is to go to the Persian Room for lunch instead. Better food ( best hummus in the valley) and larger portions. I will try Naya for dinner and see if it is better.

Our first time to Naya, mostly because we were tired of our usual spots, and it turned out to be one of our top favorites. The salad, scallops, and salmon were amazing, in fact the best salmon we've ever had. The place is about the cleanest of any restaurant and the service is right up there too, all of the staff have great service attitudes. The owners must really care about this place because you can feel it. Nicely done Naya.

The ambiance and décor were very nice, our waiter was knowledgeable, courteous and attentive. The food was underwhelming due to the lack of seasoning and a bit pricey for what you get, I will say the presentation was very nice for everything we ordered.

our visit to Naya was very brief. I ordered the mussels. After 2 bites I sent them back. The taste was sour & I was fearful of them being bad. I requested extra vegetables & no rice with my chicken kabobs. They came with extra rice & few vegetables. The chicken was tender but was so full of garlic that garlic was the only flavor I could taste. I have to say the waiter was very nice but the setting is not good for conversation since the tables are very close & the sounds was bouncing off the ceiling.

I'd characterize the menu as leaning toward Middle Eastern, and that’s what we ordered. Hummus was a creamy and flavorful appetizer. We also tried an appetizer that was new to us, Lebanese Sausages, that we thoroughly enjoyed. For the main course my partner had the Beef Kabab and I had the Shish Tawouk. Both were very good, but we thought the Shish Tawouk was the better of the two.

The food was outstanding. We ordered a beef dish, a chicken dish and an Armenian dish. Each dish had it's own distinct flavor which we all enjoyed. The entrees were large enough that 2 of us took home half of our dish. We had an appetizer that had a little taste of several dishes, hummus, olives, grape leaves etc. We enjoyed it all. We ate our left overs the next day and they were as delicious the second time around. The restaurant is beautiful ----done very tastefully.

Good food. Some entrees pricier than other local Mediterranean restaurants. Attentive service. Large group/wedding rehearsal dinner party(?) while we were there. I guess they didn't fit in the private rooms. Would have liked to have known that they were going to be there when we made our reservation earlier in the week. Detracted from our experience.

Very pleasant surprise - by not having stereotypical music and decor that is commonly associated with Mediterranean food. Contemporary decor combined with tasty food and wonderful service made this restaurant a "returner". The only slight negative was that the servings were on the minimal side - such as the hummus and pita bread. But, we will return!

The entire experience from food to service was ok, but nothing to write home about. The food is middle eastern, and very expensive. For three of us, we all had the shish tawook, a meza platter app, and a middle-of-the road bottle of wine for $120!!!!! I'm sure this is reflective of the location, but the food was not exceptional nor worth the high price. Also, the service was ho-hum. The waitress was not very attentive; although, the manager and other staff were very friendly. It wasn't a bad experience, but I probably will not return. We love middle eastern food, and this just isn't worth it! I hate the high turnover of the restaurants in this location and want to support them so badly!

As soon as we entered the restaurant we knew we had found a gem. My husband is Egyptian so eating Mediterranean food is something we do quite often and we are very picky about it. We had a party of four and to start we each ordered the Mezza plate which had wonderful delights for us to enjoy. The Hummus, Babaganoush and Grape Leaves were a yummy adventure. It also came with pickled beats which my husband loves because they remind him of home, along with some wonderful olives and carrots. For our main course we had the lamb chops, mixed grill and salmon. Everything was wonderful. All in all, an absolutely lovely evening of relaxing with friends, enjoying good food and excellent service from Tony. Enjoy!!!!!!! Strongly Recommended!!
