The chef sends out lots of goodies in between courses that really make the dining special. I am a hearty eater and walked out full, which might not have been the case without the chef's gifts. Waitstaff was neither absent nor doting, but could have watched the tables and had better info from the kitchen. Also, with food at a gourmet caliber, I like the staff to tell me about what I am eating and where it comes from, especially if I ask. The foie gras with quail egg was dry. The bronzino was excellent. Ginger souffle with homemade maple ice cream exceptional. We were literally the only people in the restaurant. It's obvious to everyone the Chef works very hard to serve and please. Outstanding food. Altho small plates. The muse buche were really Very Good, tho, and fun. Excellent bar, excellant bartender. My wife The Best champagne cocktail she's ever had, and he used a Prosecco. I had an Oban scotch after dinner.
