Entertainment: Nara offers a variety of entertainment weekly from the experience of dining at the sushi bar watching the finest and most talented sushi chefs in Kansas City to enjoying the different entrees available from our unique and broad menu. We have a DJ Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings beginning at 10pm. Brodioke (unique karaoke) every Monday night at 10pm.
Special Events & Promotions: Can seat 180 guests. In house catering and bar packages.

"Our 'girls night out' began with dinner at Nara's. The chef's special was outstanding. Spider, spicy salmon, Vegas, and the forbidden apple roll were shared and enjoyed by all! I would definitly recommend this restaurant to Sushi lovers!"

"A friend and I were in KC for the weekend, found Nara's online and decided to give it a try. Not knowing what to expect, we were absolutely blown away by the food, atmosphere, and service. What a wonderful experience! Can not wait to return, no need to look for any other sushi bar!"

"We LOVE going to Nara. Every time we go we try new and exciting versions of sushi we haven't had before. Always a great time & enjoyable experience at Nara. Highly recommend going. Even late night is great with reverse happy hour specials. You must go!"

"Excellent sushi in a hip space. Many innovative offerings, but the traditional sushi is spot ON. Can't wait to go back. Excellent service, friendly staff. This is now my favorite restaurant in KC. It's open late for after events at the nearby Kauffman Center."

"Food was ordinary. Large (3 inch?) soft spring rolls had two small shrimp each. They should either add more shrimp or make rolls smaller. Tempura not crisp, not flavorful. Dipping sauce flavorless."
