  • "My husband and I needed to meet friends at grand central for a quick dinner than get to a concert. I looked up places ans Napoli 45 came up. We gave it a try and so glad we did. Food was outstanding and the service was too. They knew we were in a bit of a rush and accommodated us. We got a table outside and had a great meal. We will definately go back!!!"

  • "It's probably to be expected, when you see that their other locations are sited in Disney parks, but the restaurant seems designed to process large numbers of guests efficiently, but little else. The food (the four of us had pizzas and one other dish) was not memorable, and though made with ingredients you'd expect in an Italian restaurant (mozzarella, prosciutto, etc.) they didn't seem to know what to do with them. Our prosciutto pizza was covered with cold prosciutto, which didn't work at all."

  • "We'd turned up for an 8:30pm reservation for a group of 12, of whom 8 were from out of the country, about half an hour late (terrible rain delays) and about 15 minutes before the kitchen closed. The very friendly wait-sfaff helped us place our orders before the kitchen closed, were constantly around to check on us. As this was a family reunion after many years, we ended up chatting late into the night, past closing. The wait staff did not bother us or hover around us to get us out. The dining area is modern, large, well-lit and airy; faces 45th street. The thin-crust margherita, pepperoni, funghi and piccante (spicy chicken) pizzas were very good. The last two are my favourites. The cheese cake (not New York style) was excellent."

  • "My table outside was ready when I arrived at 6:30 PM and I was seated immediately. It was a great spring evening. The waiter was very attentive and professional about timing the arrival of the food as well as keeping our glasses full. He was also very astute about a difficult personal conversation we were having and made sure we had privacy. He got a big tip and my gratitude. All in all, this was a great experience with both the reservation service and the restaurant."

  • "I met a friend for dinner at Naples 45 since she's a commuter and uses Grand Central for her train. The place was so noisy that it was difficult to carry on a conversation without shouting at each other. The food is OK - my lasagna wasn't very hot. I might try it again, if only for the convenient location. Price, including tax and tip, was $60 for 1 lasagna, 1 glass of wine, 1 large salad. I would recommend Naples 45, but with a caveat."

Food was okay... calamari and eggplant appetizers were the best thing served. Unfortunately, we hadn't made a dent in them when our entrees were served. It's not like they needed the tables, the place was empty, so I'm not sure why we were rushed. The waitress repeatedly came over to prod us into ordering when I had made it clear that we would let her know when we were ready. I thought the lasagne entree I ordered was of the quality of something I could get in any fast food Italian place. Meh."

  • "We ate here during our Christmas trip to NYC. The food was really good - the pizzas and pasta were all excellent. However, the service wasn't great. The welcome was curt, and our waitress, while very attentive, clearly had too many customers to serve. We had to wait far too long for our food. Hopefully we visited on an off night, as it's a nice venue and the food is great."

  • "We had a Boxing day dinner here in 2013. 2 children and 4 adults. The eggplant parmagiana is so good we just kept ordering more. So are the rice balls! This is very authentic Neapolitan cuisine. The pizza was gorgeous! The fish dishes are done perfectly. The pistachio gelato was the best anyone had tasty with a nice follow of the salt which made it seem this was made in-house. I have been here many times in a group and it is really fun and tasty! Highly recommend and the location is great for everyone...right upstairs from Grand Central in the Met Life building facing out to 45th Street. PS There is a simple kids menu too. Staff is very hurried but good and accomodating."
