There was a large group of fraternities there for Mothers Day, but we were very nicely accommodated in the small room to the front of the restaurant, where little sound carried and we were able to have normal conversations at a perfect sized table. I went with a date and we found the restaurant to be the perfect spot for our pre-theater meal before attending a performance at the Geffen Playhouse. I ordered the Natural Grilled Pork Chop mustard greens, cherry and sweet onion compote, bourbon apple jus with an appetizer of the soup of the day. My date had the Kale Chopped Salad quinoa, toasted almonds, parmesan, plump raisins, lemon-parmesan vinaigrette. She could not have the soup due to the cream ingredient, but our waiter happily discovered their was some gazpacho, and that made a good substitute. The food and service was excellent, and the menu had a good variety to choose from. The dining room had a spacious feel; the noise levels were at a minimum making it easy to discuss our projects. I had a friend in from out of town and we met there for lunch. The service is impeccable as is the food. It was a little noisy, but not too bad. The location is great except parking is difficult. They do, thankfully, have valet for $4.00 however.
