I'm a man of few words, so... Lived in Charlotte for 4 months. Came here during the "Restaurant Week-QueensFest". Loved it so much we've been back 3 times. Anytime we have out of town guests coming to see the new house, we bring them to Napa for dinner if we're not cooking at home. Especially nice out on the patio on a nice evening.

We were visiting Charlotte and some of us wanted a nice Sunday Brunch. We found Napa on Providence on line not knowing what to expect. Were we ever pleasantly surprised. The menu, quality of food, service, and ambiance were just what we were looking for. The waiter was knowledgeable, personable and johnny on the spot. The mimosas were perfect. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. Could not figure out why it wasn't packed to the gills on Sunday. I will absolutely return the next time we are in town.

Napa On Providence has marvelous service. The food is very good but 2 of our friends had to have their meals exchanged because their platters were barely warm. Portions are good not large but enough to satisfy. The quality is very good. The manager could not have been any nicer. She brought complimentary delicious desserts to compensate for our inconvenience and apologized for our issues. The noise level is abysmal. Our party of 6 could barely hear each other. Baffling or carpeting, window treatments or whatever it takes to get the noise level to a reasonable level. Our server,Becky, was fantastic!

Our server was fantastic and very knowledgable on the menu including wines. The fig and prosciutto pizza with arugula was delicious and was paired with the perfect wine thanks to the help of our server. I definitely look forward to going back again. Not always easy to find good food in Charlotte, especially Mediterranean food, but this place is a win.

An impatient (I call him Alton) had us baffled through the night. He had a short attention span and looked impatient and stern while taking orders. Questions like "what is your favorite dish" where answered with "you need to narrow down more than that, it's a big menu". A bit of a grumpy attitude. However, he brought wine samples and free appetizers for being our first time at Napa. Food was poorly executed. Bone-in pork-chop was severely overcooked (I almost burned my tongue biting into it and was supposed to come 'medium'). A dish which contained sliced meat was overly raw and chewy. Was like putting a bunch of rubber bands in your mouth. Overall great looking dishes but ruined by the kitchen.

This time we chose to dine off the brunch menu. I had duck confit eggs benedict w/o caramelized onions & a mimosa. He had Napa eggs benedict. Both had fruit & roasted potatoes OMG...it was crazy good. No one shared & were to full to try desert. But that didn't stop me. I asked about the Olive Oil cake to go. I know it sounds horrible. But really it is a lemon pound cake with a lemon cream cheese frosting. I was able to eat it 4 hours later when I got home. It was light fresh and creamy. No wonder this desert sold out the last time I was there. It's a must try with a fresh cappuccino. All these years I've never tried brunch since I'm not really a breakfast person. But this was worth the try! DELISH!

Our food was fabulous and our server was very pleasant, although very busy. I had the steak benedict and it was excellent. My friend had the chicken and waffles which she said were good as well. I've been here for brunch before and can't remember what I had... it obviously was not as good as the steak benedict. The Charlotte chapter of the UNC Alumni Association also hosted a mixer on the patio that I attended and, while I can't comment on the food for that event (it was gone before I got there), I will say that the patio is a great place for a private party. The staff at Napa has always been very welcoming and personable each time I have visited. We will definitely be back and will add the bottomless mimosas next time!

A very nicely appointed restaurant but from the moment we walked in there was nothing that resembled the warmth of Napa. The hostesses were more concerned about who would run the station rather than welcoming their guests. The food was good but nothing that resembled the California cuisine of Napa. The duck was drowning in sauce and the portions were oversized. The local peach crumble was alright but nothing amazing and unfortunately our server didn't add to the dining experience. The wine was excellent and the only thing reminiscent of home. A nice place for a night out but don't expect Napa.

My husband and I tried Napa's for the first time on Saturday. As I explained to our waiter, our overall satisfaction came 50% from the food and wine, and 50% from the waiter, Chris. He made our experience really amazing. He was happy to discuss each of the wines with us and helped me select just the right glass of red for the night. I had the beet salad on arugla, and this was fantastic. Then we had the monk fish special and the corvina. Both dishes were out of this world, and Chris did an excellent job of describing exactly what flavors and tastes we should expect before the dishes were served. We were on the shaded patio and there was live music which added to the ambience. We will go back!!

Had never been before, but went for after work w/co-workers a couple of days before this. Short Rib Pizza was amazing. Stuffed Meatballs really good. Good wines by the glass selections. Excellent patio even on a rainy day. Went back for dinner one evening. Inside was super noisy. Glad they could seat us on the patio. Food for dinner was 'meh', unmemorable. Would probably do apps again instead. Service was excellent both times.

Have been here twice, and the food was average both times. For lunch I had the buttermilk chicken over a salad - chicken was not very good and salad was low on other ingredients. For dinner the previous time, I had the salmon which was pretty good but small portions for the price. The atmosphere/ambience is very nice and comfortable; however, the food is just ok at best. We live in the neighborhood and probably won't return.

We went for brunch, and the restaurant was fairly empty until about 12 when the state allows you to sell alcohol. It started filling up as we were leaving. Very personal and relaxed atmosphere. Both the food and the wine was very good. We enjoyed a nice dinner without our boys, but this is definitely a restaurant where you can also bring children. It's good that the restaurant is divided into different rooms, so the noise level isn't too loud. This restaurant we definitely would like to visit again.

We ordered from the restaurant week menu. In addition to that we were given a VIP Charcuterie tray. We've only had dinner & desert here so that was a nice intro to a lighter option. Everything as usual was delish! We will most certainly keep the cheese and/or charcuterie tray as an option in the future. I can't recall all that was on the tray, but it was a great experience.

We arrived early for our reservation so we sat at the bar and had a drink. Napa serves wine on tap plus they have 2 WineStation's, in addition to rum, vodka and tequila infusions (which they do themselves). The bar staff was very friendly. When it was time to be seated our server didn't rush us (even though it was restaurant week) and we enjoyed a wonderful three course meal. The outside patio looked equally wonderful and we might partake in that experience when we return.

I am sorry to say, I will not go back because the noise level was so high. We were a party of four and I couldn't hear the person next to me speak. Otherwise, I like the restaurant. The food was good and the service was good but the noise was too hard to overcome. It was a Wednesday night during Queen's Restaurant Week so it could have increased the noise level some but we have gone to many restaurants during past Restaurant Week and have never experience that level of noise.
