  • "If you enjoy great food freshness and quality this is the spot. They spare nothing it was an amazing dining experience."

  • "There are some good Japanese restaurants in Miami area, but generally tastes of foods are Americanized, namely with very clear flavor and sometimes too salty, however in Naoe, the taste is very in Japanese style in addtition to the perfect fish and vegitables. It is awesome! The plates used for some sushi and dessert in Naoe are selected with a great consideration to make the cuisine remarkable, in which chef's hospitality mind is embodied."

  • "There aren't too many places - (if any?) like NAOE in South Florida. It's like taking part in an episode of No Reservations mixed with a little Bizarre Foods. The extreme care, precision and passion that goes into every bite is overwhelming. You eat, learn and enjoy. This restaurant is truly an exceptional experience! James Miami, FL"

  • "This was my 2nd time to dine at Naoe. Chef and entire team provides us wonderful foods and excellent services. Every plate the Chef serves are authentic and very precise. I never expect I could have real Kaiseki styke Japanese in Miami. Will dine at Naoe again for sure."

  • "This place is not for everyone. If you consider yourself a foodie and love sushi this is a must. Did I mention you must have the $ to eat here. For two our total was 650$. I feel like it was totally worth it. It was an exprience of a lifetime. I will probably never have the opportunity to eat some of the fine pieces of fish anywhere else. I high recommend it if you want a very special night. Only sits about 12 people per dinner. We made reservation at least two months early."

  • "It was a dinner to remember. Wendy and Samantha was an incredible team that made you feel like they were a guest in your home. Chef Kevin was very focused on every detail of the dishes. The food was incredible and each dish was like artwork. You can tell the Naoe team had pride and passion in everything they did. Worth the price! Highly recommend this one of a kind restaurant to anyone that is passionate about food like us. Hieu and Jackie"

  • "You will undoubtedly eat things outside of your comfort zone. I did not enjoy more than 3 of the 14 courses. Many of the courses had awful consistencies and tasted even worse. The dinner will also run about $300 per person for food you won't like."

  • "Only go to this place if you are into very authentic Japanese food as some of the dishes do become difficult to swallow! For examples I couldn't handle the insides of a sea urchin! Ugghh but otherwise the flavours and presentation is very good. "

  • "Chef Kevin Cory served excellent and authentic "Kaiseki" style Japanese and it is real Japanese. It is one of the best I have ever experienced. Have excellent "sake" selection that perfectly fits to them as well. Chef and teh staffs are very nice, professional, and kowledgeble. It became one of my favorite restaurant and will definitely go again."

  • "The team at NAOE redefined the culinary experience, from the Cedar beam structure that cleansed and prepared our palates for the event to come, to the extraordinary precious and rare items that comprised this ancient culinary art. Of particular note was the grace of the front of house who patiently described and informed our family to the particulars of each dish, its identity, source and preparation. The discussion relating to the family sakes alone was worthy of a level 1 certification. We truly loved it. Amazing!"

  • "Intimate, small dining room. The food is without compare and the personal and attentive service is just as good. A meal almost indescribably delicious and an experience unlikely to be duplicated outside the finest restaurants of Japan."

  • "My wife and I love Japanese food and went to Naoe for the first time this month. The highlights are the service and the food (specially the raw items). However the whole menu was not as outstanding as some of the other reviews I read had suggested. The overall experience was interesting, but I am not sure it is worth more than $300 per person (after you add sake, service and tax to the check). I will probably not go back. "

  • "I took my husband for his birthday... And it was an amazing experience. From the service to the food was a unique time. Chef Cory is a genius and all his staff are so knowledgeable that you just don't notice how time goes. If you are a foodie and love any culinary work of art, this is your place."

  • "This was quite possibly our best dining experience ever. Chef Kevin Cory and his staff are wonderful. He prepares the freshest seafood right in front of your eyes that we'd never be able to try otherwise. I don't know how I'm going to go back to eating sushi without his homemade wasabi and homemade soy sauce delicately brushed on top. It was a work of art that also tasted delicious! The staff is incredible, so attentive and make you feel like family. I highly recommend this for a special dinner if you are open to trying new things and want an amazing once-in-a-lifetime (well hopefully not, we plan to come back!) experience. "

  • "Chef Kevin, Wendy, and staff created a wonderful evening for me and my parents. The food was unique and inspired (set menu leaves you stuffed for sure), and the service was impressive and highly cordial. The team works hard at making sure you're well taken care of -- each dining experience here feeling personalized and intimate. Will definitely return, especially when they open for lunch!"

  • "This restaurant is for people with a wide palate, meaning that the food it is not the regular food you expect to eat when going to a Japanese Restaurant. This is traditional and real Japanese food, so be careful when choosing to come here if you are not too adventurous when dinning. The service and attention is very personalized and direct. Servers give an excellent treatment and pay attention to every detail to make the dinning experience the best possible."

  • "I was recently in Kyoto at what I believe to be some of the finest restaurants in the world. Naoe is Miami's version of Kyoto's best but with some local twists using fresh seafood and vegetables from Florida. It works. With only 8 seats its very intimate and fun. If you haven't been to Japan, just order the best Sake and sit back and enjoy. Try everything and you will be very pleasantly surprised."
