It was far quieter and serene than at the bar or the inside dining. The bar is quite lively and active but a bit noisy while the inside dining area is well appointed but crowded on the weekends. All of our main entrees were delivered on a timely basis and were cooked to perfection. Unusual when seven people are dining. The waiter was very attentive and active but not annoying. However, they have a policy of not bringing bread to the table before the meal is ordered, which does not whet the appetite much. Anyhow, my filet was perfect, but my spouse's salad was plain tasteless--all spinich, but not much else. The bread came as one block, hot, but not precut, broken or otherwise divisible by the 4 of us diners. Seating was prompt and our waitress, Adriana, arrived quickly. She answered all our menu questions and helped with our selections. She also made a couple of wine recommendations which aptly fit our food choices. Our food arrived promptly and was delicious. They were very impressed with the atmoshpere and the overall experience including the food.

The Calamari was excellent and the serving was generous. The She Crab Soup was also very good. The Steak was very good and tender, and the Ham was also delicious. Our Waitress was very good That is the good news. When our food arrived, my Daughter's Eggs Benedict arrived minus the Hollandaise sauce, my Steak and Eggs also arrived minus the Hollandaise sauce and the Hash browns. The eggs on the Benedict were over cooked to a hard stage; my Asparagus was overcooked and tough.

THIS PARTICULAR OUTING WAS ON MY 80TH BIRTHDAY, WHICH OUR WAITER DID NOT UNCOVER UNTIL THE END OF OUR MEAL. HE STILL MANAGED TO HAVE A SPECIAL LITTLE SURPRISE DESSERT WITH CANDLE MADE FOR ME PRIOR TO OUR LEAVING.
