  • "We went to this restaurant for a brunch with a larger group. It was somewhat empty, but that is not really a big deal. But, it is when you have to wait almost 90 MINUTES for the food to come to the table after ordering. Extra help cooking might help expedite things. The food was good... just not worth the long wait. I don't think most places are worth that long of a wait!"

  • "When we arrived we were surprised to find the restaurant was pretty empty. We had a fabulous appetizer platter of meats and cheeses, which was both beautiful and tasty. Caesar salad made with grilled romaine was delicious as well. Four of us had different entrees, including Bronzino, grouper, veal and homemade pasta with shrimp. All 4 entrees were beautifully prepared. For dessert we shared a Meyer lemon tart, the perfect end to a perfect meal. Service was exemplary. We were well cared for. We can't wait to go back."

  • "I will chalk it up to bad luck. They had a chef and server no show on New Year's Eve. On top of it, one of the ovens went down. Due to these events, the service was extremely backed up. The food when we got it was excellent. Hopefully they can fix the service issues or this was an isolated incident as it could be a great spot with great food."

  • "This was our second visit to Nancettas. We liked the food during our first visit, even though service was slow. We decided to fine them another try. That was a mistake. The salads came our about 20 minutes after we were seated and placed our order. Our entrees (there were six of us), came out 90+ minutes later. The entrees came out in three different waves, about 20 minutes apart. The first two diners were finished with thier meals before the last two diners received thier meals. I have never had service like this before and the staff didn't even apologize until we complained. Another table, who knew the owners were seated after us, got their salads, entrees and check before our first entree arrived. We will not be back."

  • "Service is poor due to lack of wait staff. This restaurant has so much potential, but sitting for 30 minutes without a menu, water, bread, and 2 un opened bottles of wine was frustrating"

  • "We arrived at 7pm and food was finally served at 8:55 pm - enough said about the service. Another couple walked out after waiting an hour... Even with just 5-6 tables, the 3 wait staff couldn't keep track of menu's / orders, etc. Wine was decent, but wait staff didn't know about the dozen or so wines they had. Asked where a French wine was from, the answer was "It's a French Blend", a Super Tuscan was an "Italian maybe a blend" and a Spanish Cava was a champagne. The food itself when it came was ok. The veal piccata and porcini risotto were both well prepared. The grilled squid however stank! The waitress gave us a snarky "I know its fresh" - really? As a plus, we did get to know other patrons who like us are never going back."

  • "Overall everything exceeded expectations. A bit out of the way. You could drive by and not notice the place. (That would be a mistake) We brought our own wine however, they now have a wine list and a full service bar. My wife and I ordered from the daily special menu. Greens and beans to start then we each chose a veal dish, veal Milanese and veal tenderloin. Wow, both were fabulous. Then coffee and gelato to top off a very nice meal. We will be returning!"
