It is especially hard when that hotel is not a top rate hotel. That said the food at Nage was excellent. WE had a superb gazpacho, very fine sea bass and a slow smoked brisket, followed by a very good cobbler. The service was sub par (we had to ask repeatedly to have water glasses refilled). The acoustics are not great and the ambiance, being that it is off of the lobby of a Marriott Courtyard leave a little to be desired.

It wasn’t the most pleasant meal but we were able to make the best off it. I think because we were still high from the amazing apps. Unfortunately, the dessert wasn't able to make up for the mediocre entrees. We decided to share the Cobbler, that particular day, they were serving blueberry. It was so bad; we had to send it back. We ended up getting the Red Velvet Cupcake, it was ok, but it came right out of the refrigerator. It was cold and dry...womp womp...

Wonderful kale salad and two healthy crabcakes were perfect! My companion had the prawns. Service is always attentive without being annoying. We did want to take advantage of the happy hour drink prices, but were apparently in the wrong seating (which someone could have noted as we were seated, since it was 6pm and primo happy hour time). They offered to redo the seafood Nage, but we opted for two comped desserts instead. Very fair treatment. In the past, it's been perfect as I can easily get in, have lunch, and be back to meetings in plenty of time without feeling rushed or resorting to fast food. The restaurant wasn't packed and the kitchen should have been able to easily handle the volume. The fried tomatoes werent anything fancy, but the sauce that came with them was tasty. The Spring Pappardelle was strangely bland.
