Nage RestaurantI usually avoid retaurantsI usually avoid retaurants in hotels, but this was a great surprise. Nage is a small, intimate restaurant tucked into the Courtyard by Marriott. The food was phenomenal! I had the mushroom baklava as an appetizer, which was to die for, and my husband had what he called the "Best french onion soup this side of Paris". Our main courses also were great! He had the schnitzel, and I had the steak-frites. Both were outstanding! We finished off the meal with the mixed berry cobbler. Wonderful find. The chef has just the right touch when it comes to blending flavors. Case in point: the gyoza are incredible, as is roasted rainbow trout. The crab cakes are packed with huge pieces of fresh crab that have enough flavor so little embellishment is required.
It's not a vibrant bar scene. The meat overwhelmed the plate while the delicious vegetables and sides were meager.

The food is consistently interesting and tasty (I was only disappointed once that I recall and it may have been simply my own taste). What I wonder is if Nage uses locally sourced and/or organic ingredients. That would be the next step for this wonderful gem of an eatery.
