  • "This is our favorite restaurant in Rehoboth Beach and there are a lot of good restaurants here! Food, service, and atmosphere are always excellent. Highly recommend!"

  • "Mage is perhaps the best restaurant in Rehoboth Beach. We have never had anything but an excellent meal here. My wife prefers the vegetarian plate which always has a different selections from the cheif's favorites."

  • "We had heard great things about Nage for quite some time and finally made it last week. My husband order the filet and I have to say I can't remember seeing a more perfectly cooked filet. We should have taken a picture. He said it melted in his mouth. They use the butcher next store so it simply couldn't be any fresher. I ordered the warm vegetable salad with shrimp as my entree and I seriously could eat that meal three times a week. Outstanding!!"

  • "Nage is a true gem. From the moment you walk in the staff is friendly but not in your face. Polished but not assuming. My wife and I love going to Nage for all of our special occasions! The food is truly amazing. I had the filet and it literally melted in my mouth!"

  • "this restaurant was over the top noisy I will not be going back."

  • "This is one of our favorite restaurants but something was wrong that night. Friday is one of there business night and it was. Noise ls always above the sound barrier but the food and service make up for it. Something was wrong with the ventilation system and wrong I mean wrong. It was so bad that when we got we had to remove our clothes and shower to get rid of the smell of food. I gave them another five star with this review because they are a five star restaurant , but if we were first timers it would have been hard to give them a one star."

  • "We're Nage regulars and fans, but this was our first time at a 'burger night'. Creative options 'ranged' from tuna burger, trout burger, mexi/california burger (avocado & salsa, si!), to our choices: her 'Nage Burger' (one of Delaware's best, for sure), served with crispy shoestring potato/sweet potato fries, and my Wild Boar Burger (also absolutely delicious) with onion rings. We shared an excellent, full-bodied Syrah from their well-selected (and fairly-priced) wine list...plenty of by-the-glass offerings, too. Nage in Rehoboth is a local foodie gem; well worth a visit anytime, including Sunday brunch, but if you crave a really special burger, go on a Thursday and indulge yourself."

  • "Had wanted to try Nage as we had heard much of it. Bottom line nothing special, if anything they're trying to hard to create I'm not sure what."

  • "The kitchen is open to the dining area. While we were there the cooking odors were quite strong and unpleasant and made it difficult to enjoy the meal. Perhaps something was burned. At one point my eyes watered from the smell. Lots of steam and odor wafted out and into the dining area."

  • "My wife and I have been to Nage a couple of times and had 2 good experiences and one not so good (too loud, and service was not up to par) ... Saturday night was a joy ... the food was great ... my wife had the French Onion Soup ... which she has since reflected on and said it was the best she ever had ... I had the Gumbo and it was great ... we both had specials (after a recommendation to always have the specials from Ted Depetula) ... the Mahi and Short Ribs ... both excellent ..."

  • "Nage is an incredible restaurant nestled in the heart of a Rehobeth shopping strip. It is tucked away in a corner - and if you are fortunate enough to know it is there -- you need to go. The menu is outstanding. The choices are thoughtful and creative. It was refreshing to have such delicious and innovative twists offered as lunch fare. What further sets the restaurant apart is the outstanding service. It was attentive, but not rushed. Our server John spoiled us rotten with good service. I honestly cannot wait to visit Rehobeth again so I can return to Nage -- and I will be sure to go on a Thursday night for their burger night. My 11 year old said her burger was the absolute best she has ever had. We are officially Nage groupies."

  • "We can say no more, Nage is a great restaurant ......."

  • "We enjoyed the Nage experience for dinner. The appetizer "baked brie" could have been warmer. It was not warmed all the way through. I enjoyed the crab cake and it was delicious, lots of crab very little filler and the veggies served with it were fabulous. My husband had the salmon and he really enjoyed it. We each also had a glass of wine and it complimented the food very nicely. We will definitely return to Nage again."

  • "We love Nage. Filet mignon was outstanding, as was the halibut. Appetizers also were great. Outstanding meal."

  • "By far the best restaurant I've been to in Delaware. The only better dining experience was in New York. The food was amazing! We went on Valentine's Day, so I expected them to be busy and possibly slow. We were immediately seated, and service was great? I could not have asked for a better experience for my girlfriend and I. It can get a little loud, but it didn't interfere with the evening. We will definitely be back."

  • "We really enjoyed dining at Nage. Staff was very helpful with my gluten food allergy. Our table was ready when we arrived and the atmosphere was very relaxing. Food was delicious."
    Dined on 2/15/2014
  • "Normally the food and service at Nage is top notch, but I did not think to reserve a table in the smaller more quiet side room. The main dining room was and always is very loud and not at all a romantic setting. It took a half an hour to get our soup and all our waiter asked was didn't you get your soup yet we we finally got his attention. The halibut from the valentine's day menu was excellent but the short ribs were as dry as toast and the risotto very under done. We sent back the short rib dish and shared the fish wile waiting for a replacement. The waiter was nonchalant and no apology offered. The replacement short ribs were just OK, not tender and flavorful like I would expect from Nage let alone a special menu. Very disappointed."

  • "Best meal ever had at Nage!! Kudos to kitchen, bar and waitstaff!"

  • "My girlfriend and I visited Nage Rehoboth for Valentine's Day Dinner and we chose wisely. We were seated immediately and the wait staff was very attentive and friendly. We shared two appetizers: Hot Brown Flatbread and the Ricotta Gnocchi. both were great choices. The Flatbread had thin slices of roasted turkey and very light serving of mornay sauce and topped with crispy lardons and cranberry relish. The Gnocchi were light and airy and the sun dried tomato pesto that topped them were fantastic. The entree to choose is definitely the Roast Chicken. The chicken was nice and moist but the chicken ragout that it was placed upon was unbelievable. It was deliciously savory and was so good that just a bowl of it would have sufficed."

  • "As always, Nage was fabulous! It was Valentine's day and the service and food were exceptional. We loved the chilled lobster salad, and the duck and halibut entrees were exceptional! The suggested wine pairings were well chosen as well! A perfect Valentine's Day dinner!"

  • "People often forget that eating can also be entertainment. At Nage, they take their time preparing a nice leisurely meal. We had appetizers, entrees and dessert and we were there for over 2 hours. Don't go if you want a rushed meal, but if you are not in a hurry then you will definitely enjoy the experience because right down to the food, that's what it is. An experience."

  • "It was very quiet for a meal at Nage because we went on a Monday evening. Weekends are to loud to carry on a decent conversation. We don't like the tables along the windows because they are too close together."

  • "It was my girlfriends birthday and her first time there. Everything was perfect. Couldn't ask for a better evening"

  • "Nage is a our favorite local restaurant. Well managed, creative Executive Chef and professional servers are a combination that is hard to top. Menu has standards and always some special that just has to be tried. We highly recommend Nage."

  • "Not really a bear drinker but saw the special for the pre-fixe 3 course meal paired with beers and could not resist! WoW! The meal was fantastic....the oyster stew and brisket were unbelievable! Even the dessert was great too! Enjoyed the beers but the meal was just fantastic and I would go back again and again for their food!"

  • "Nage does not disappoint. Consistenly, the food is delicious and service is very attentive. The daily specials are nice as there is always something from farm to table. The bartenders make great cocktails and food is presented very artfully. We dine at Nage every 4-6 weeks and continue to come back."

  • "Great food, great service, as usual. We chose two of the specials (duck fried rice and pastrami pot pie). Calling the dish "fried rice" did it a disservice--it was amazing! Full of complex flavors. And the pot pie was crazy good! House smoked and brined brisket. Love this place."

  • "Nage is my favorite restaurant at the beach. Always great food and great service. The owner and head chef are visible, always ensuring the highest quality. On this visit, our table split an order of Nage frites - matchstick fries of white and sweet potatoes, with a hint of truffle oil. I had the crabcake, which was scrumptious. One friend had the duck breast; the other had the roast chicken. Everything was perfectly done. Nage is open year round, and has a daily happy hour, which features drinks and small plates. Great for an early light dinner at a great price."

  • "The overall experience here was fine. The root soup was overwhelmed by the odd addition of smoked salmon. My better half had the French onion soup which was dominated by the strong cheese versus a hearty stock for the broth. The entrees were excellent however. I had the seafood Nage which was bouillabase consisting of braised scallops, shrimp and littleneck clams. It was delicious and was accompanied by fresh green beans and fingering potatoes. The other half had the lamb shank with saffron pasta which was heavy but good too. The dessert was so so, a not so inspired pineapple upside down cake a bit on the dry side and the pineapple compote was salty. The wi e choice of house red was excellent and I would try this place again."

  • "I always enjoy visiting some of my favorite spots when I know the restaurant will be challenged to provide an outstanding experience. For me this is New Years Eve. Any person in or around the restaurant business will tell you that this night always brings about some unique challenges that will inevitably test the wait and kitchen staff like no other. Everything went like clock work. I was seated on time. The wait staff was courteous and attentive. The restaurant was packed and the tables turned over promptly. My food was served at the appropriate temperature including the soup. Outstanding job all around. A great experience. I was so convinced that I ended up purchasing their frequent dinners card."

  • "Nage Rehoboth consistently delivers good food with attentive service. The menu offers farm to table specialities on a daily basis with an interesting cocktail list to experience for those you like libations before your dining experience. We dine every six weeks or so at Nage and always find the place comforting and leave feeling appreciated."
