Nage has had a wonderful reputation for as long as it has been open. They are known for using locally sourced ingredients in a seasonal way. We have been there before and were pleased with the local bison menu among others, but were never terribly impressed by the ambiance. We haven't been in a while and went for our anniversary on a Sunday night. Our reservation was for 7 PM. By the time we were seated in the dining room (20 minutes) one of the prix fixe entrees was gone and by the end of our meal, the especially delicious sounding dessert was gone. Otherwise our meals were fine but not outstanding and the service cheery but not something to rave about. Maybe it was an "off night", but I doubt we will go back again soon.

Loved everything we ordered from the appetizers -- oysters, fois gras, mac and cheese with fois gras oil, caramelized brie and entrees - filet, scallops, and paella. Even their martinis were excellent - cosmo and white peach martini. And I am a gourmet eater. Ambiance could improve but with food and drinks like that I'd still come back although can you imagine if the ambience were even better. Super wow!

Nage is one of my favorite restaurants in Rehoboth Beach and my most recent visit was a homerun. I shared a baked brie as an appetizer and had roasted salmon as an main dish; both delicious. The service was excellent and the staff recommended a wine that complemented the meal nicely. The dessert, a red wine honey cake with an amazing pumpkin seed brittle, surely hits the spot.

My boyfriend and I had dinner at Nage on Halloween night. We had the hummus appetizer. It was delicious and a very generous portion for the price. My boyfriend had a beer and I had the pear ginger cocktail. They were both refreshing! For dinner, I had ordered the duck entree and it was excellent! The duck was perfectly cooked and the sides finished out the meal nicely. My boyfriend had the scallops entree on the pumpkin ravioli. Unfortunately the scallops were a little overcooked so they weren't nice and tender, but a little chewy. All in all, a very good meal.

Nage is consistently excellent! The new menu has some great, new items which Chef Paul executes wonderfully along with the "tried and true menu items. Service is always friendly and servers are always knowledgeable about any questions a diner may have. If you haven't been to NAGE lately, I recommend trying it as I know you'll have a great dining experience!

Visiting from Atlanta, I ask my friend to pick her favorite restaurant so we could celebrate her birthday. Knowing how picky I am , she choose Nage. I was not disappointed. My meal was wonderful and our server was not only knowledgeable about the menu and wine list but was truly delightful. I am certainly looking forward to eating at Nage on my next visit.

Nage KNOWS food and I know how to eat, but Oh where to sit! There are 3 possible choices and for Jazz Brunch on Sunday the decision was tedious. At first we were to be seated in the crying fussy children area. Declining that choice I suggested the main dining area would be suitable. Standing in the doorway, I asked "Are they watching a football game in there?" We selected the bar area instead and chose to listen to Bruce Anthony a wonderful guitar player. Fortunately, the folks in this section liked his music as well and did not try to "yell" a conversation. So to all you foodies out there tone it down a few decibels! We do not wish to hear your latest escapades from four tables across the room. Peaceful soft conversations please!

Service is terrible! We had eaten at Nage before and remember service as being a shortcoming but food was enjoyable. This past dining experience was very disappointing. It took 20 minutes to get drinks, food was lukewarm, multiple servers, on and on. Adding insult to injury, the food was only mediocre, although the crème brûlée is worth a return visit. When we were asked about our dining experience, our feedback was met with a "shrug of the shoulders" type response, a mumbled excuse and a forced apology. I don't hold a grudge against Nage, but if you have a reputation as one of Rehoboth's premier restaurants, live up to it! And treat your customers with class.

This was our second trip to Nage and even better than our first. Our server, Brook, I believe, was outstandng with recommendations, being attentive but not overbearing. I love that you can purchase a "taste" of wine, 3 oz, to see if you like it, a regular, 6 oz. drink or a 9 oz. drink, which I ordered because I knew I loved the wine. We had the Filet Mignon, on a truffle oil cake, with wonderfully seasoned green beans. It was the best meal of our 4 day stay in Rehoboth. We went back the next day for Brunch, which was equally wonderful. The Chef cooked our eggs to PERFECTION, one over medium, the other over easy. Both meals were divine. I HIGHLY recommend Nage, but I would encourage reservations for the weekend and Sunday Brunch.

While the service was slow (let's call it "laid back"), the atmosphere was great, the food really fine and the drinks reasonable. Our server was quite chatty, which I usually don't like, but somehow it worked here (maybe it was because Rehoboth's low key atmosphere). I'll certainly return, if only to savor the shrimp and grits again!

Nage's Tuesday evening 'burger nights' feature multiple special choices, plus their enticing regular menu. We opted for delicious 'Nage Burgers', and substituted other vegetables for 'Nage frites' (excellent themselves, but we went healthier... this time). Celebrating 'her' birthday, we washed down our juicy burgers with glasses of bubbly (gratis, with B'day card as Nage regulars...Thanks, Nage!). And, for the occasion, we shared an enormous, decadent, multi-layer chocolate cake (w/bday candle, of course!). Attentive service (even a visit from sous-chef Sean), cozy booths, tasty food... one of our favorite dining haunts... our 'go-to' choice for really good meals in a welcoming ambiance.

We've eaten at Nage several times, and never has the meal been this disappointing. First, it took over an hour for the food to arrive. We only ordered crab cakes and burgers, so it wasn't as if we had placed any extravagant needs on the kitchen. I don't think the place is equipped to handle a full house. When the meals finally arrived, the burgers were overcooked and the crab was lacking in flavor. Very disappointing. We won't be returning any time soon.

Nage has become one of our favorite places in Rehoboth. Service is always good. Halibut (butter poached?) was one of the best halibuts I've had -- very moist and tasty. My husband had filet mignon, green beans, and potato cakes -- excellent. Nage's steaks are better than what we get at premier steakhouses. Hummus appetizer and kale salad also were very good (although I'd like to see a basic mixed green salad reappear on the menu at some point).

Nage Restaurant in Rehoboth is one of my favorite all-time restaurants. I was worried when they brought in a new head chef and made some menu changes that I might not love it as much. But they've kept their best dishes and sides, updated some others, and added some new ones. We began with an order of Nage frites - fried matchstick white and sweet potatoes with a bit of truffle oil. I had the halibut poached in butter, and it was fabulous. My friend had the lobster ravioli; equally wonderful. The staff is always impeccable. Everyone who walked past our table glanced over to see if we needed anything - a fresh drink, more water, whatever.

Sunday was the first time we have had brunch at Nage. It was delicious, we had the duck confit salad, roasted oysters, and eggs benedict and crab crepes. Everything was delicious. My husband liked the salad but would not get it again as he felt there was not enough duck or greens for the price. The service was excellent even though they were busy with several large tables. The crab crepes were full of crabmeat and came with a small salad. The eggs benedict was wonderful on homemade biscuits and also came with a salad. It was a great meal.

My husband and I are both vegetarians so it's often hard to find a place to eat in locations with mostly seasonal clientele. We had a wonderful meal at Nage and we will definitely return. Note, that it's located in the shopping area of Coastal Highway and for some reason my phone GPS located it incorrectly and the street number could not be entered on the car GPS. It is somewhat hard to find but worth the effort.

Many of the best meals I've had on the Delaware shore have been at Nage. We had dinner on a "meatless Monday," which meant that the specials were vegetarian. The spicy soba noodles were very good, as were the salads. The seafood stew and the beet cured hamachi were also very good. The wine recommendations were excellent. One of us thought it was noisy; the rest of us thought it was fine and liked the ambience.
