Diner Reviews
  • "One of our favorite local restaurants. New menu is great!"

  • "We went on a meatless monday, but we were not overly interested in the vegetarian specials. However what we did end up ordering was excellent. My salad included the largest serving of goat cheese we have ever seen, and though it and the salad were excellent I was unable to finish it. My wife had the filet for dinner and I had the veal, both of which were also excellent. Unfortunately we were too full to order dessert. Our only complaint was that when we first arrived they tried to seat us at a small table in the corner despite many open tables. When we asked to sit at one of the other tables they quickly complied."

  • "I enjoyed this restaurant. There was not a lot to choose from, however. The food that was offered was also not for people who don't like to try new things. The mac-n-cheese had peas and mushrooms. The burger was covered in white cheddar and onions with a side of truffle fries. I thought the food was very good and I enjoyed having some different flavors added to some old American classics, but my friend who had the crab cake with pork belly did not enjoy it as much as I did. If you have kids or picky eaters in your party, I would not advise going to this restaurant. If not, enjoy, the place is wonderful."

  • "My husband and I had yet another delicious dinner. We are regulars, and we appreciate the consistent Excellent and innovative food, along with such wonderful stables as Seafood a la Nage. Mark always visits our table, and shows his appreciation for our regular patronage. Would highly recommend!"

  • "Love the food. The staff was overly attentive in a hovering way which was annoying at times. Close sitting and too loud."
    Dined on 7/17/2014
  • "One of our best meals in the area. scallop appetizer and beet salad were outstanding. Lobster ravioli melted in your mouth. portion size a little on the skimpy side so don't plan on sharing but food is well worth a visit."

  • "The service really stood out. Our waiter was excellent. The food was creative and interesting. the wine selection was good as well."

  • "We had the pleasure of dining at Nage Rehoboth this past weekend. Our party of four, including one vegetarian, could not have been happier with the selection and quality of the food. We thought the mussels, kale salad, beet salad, macaroni & cheese, and seafood a la Nage were fabulous. However, it was the absolutely perfect service that made the evening very special. Our server exemplified what customer service in the restaurant industry should be - attentive, friendly, informative, yet not overly-hovering. Thank you for our favorite meal in a week of exploring the Rehoboth/Bethany area."

  • "We went there after it was mentioned on ESPN and were thrilled to have found such a gem. The service and food were spectacular and the food presentation was impressive. We have lived in the area for years and glad to find hidden treasure."

  • "We've eaten here a few times in the past but they now have a new menu. The food was very good although the portions are not very big. The asiago oysters are excellent, and reasonable ($3 ea) but $16 for a tiny fois gras app is steep. The prices are higher than I would have expected, but maybe we'll go back for the oysters and a burger."

  • "We never spend time in rehoboth without eating at least one meal here. Always perfect. Always great, friendly service. Always imaginative without being affected. Just a superb restaurant."
    Dined on 7/11/2014
  • "We had so many staff members assisting us we were never sure who was our waiter! They all took such good care of us and made sure we had everything we needed"
    Dined on 7/7/2014
  • "Food is excellent. Could improve decor, it is kind of 'office conference room' like. At least on the right of the bar side dining room. Otherwise, very good"
    Dined on 7/5/2014
  • "Had been dying to try it for some time. A friend told me it was a hidden gem. She knows her foodie stuff! It was terrific. The food and service were great. All of the servers were attentive and asked if we needed anything as they walked by. Fresh local flavors exemplifying local meats and vegetables. If there was one thing to improve on it would be the descriptions on the menu. Not quite detailed. Will be back for sure."

  • "The food was incredible. Corn ravioli with lobster was delicious. Creme brûlée was the best we've ever had. Portions are not big, so you don't feel stuffed when you leave."
    Dined on 7/3/2014
  • "All 6 loved our selections. Tuna tartare was wonderful, but lose the watermelon water it sat in. Great seafood entree-- all shellfish, no fin fish taking ovar the flavor. 4 had scallop special, all raved. Flourless chocolate torte had great flavor, but too dense, too rich, more like giant piece of fudge. Light, silky crime brûlée was much better choice. Room very loud, happening place. Low key, comfortable atmosphere. We are gourmet cooks ourselves, were celebrating 2 birthdays and thought we'd made a perfect choice."

  • "We liked the way is set up the menu, modern and sofisticated with mis o organic food. The service was excellent, and they have nice "specials' everyday including the wine. We enjoyed, we are from Philly and they can give for the run!!!!"

  • "Love the refresh of the menu! Glad you added several new dishes and kept some standards."

  • "Nage is always a must visit when we are in Rehoboth. We appreciate that they respect wholesome food and have a creative menu."
    Dined on 6/30/2014
  • "Fewer flexible dining options than previously. Food trying too hard to provide complex favors but only succeeds in masking quality of ingredients. Worth another try but they need to do better to live up to their reputation."
    Dined on 6/28/2014
  • "Waited 1 and 3/4 hours for our meals to arrive even though we continually asked when it was coming. Food was lukewarm and incredibly small portion for some even though it was a full dinner entree. Booth was so narrow we kept bumping legs. Waiter unresponsive to us. Will not go back Very disappointed"

  • "Scallop special excelled in flavors on the plate but the waiter's promise of 3 large scallops fell way short o f what was presented. Fried green tomatoes appetizer was awesome in taste and presentation. loved the pear vodka/prosecco martini."

  • "Nage offers a diverse menu and the food is very good. The portions are small though, so the value is less than expected."

  • "Nage is always a first choice for us when visiting the Rehoboth area,,,whether for lunch, brunch or a celebratory dinner,"

  • "I dine here as frequently as possible-although it is not cheap the quality of food is exceptional. If you are a foodie this is the place for you!"

  • "Great small plates for sharing. A tremendous value"

  • "We made reservations for the Father's Day special event. Had to make 5:00 PM reservations because they said they couldn't seat us any other time. The restaurant was not full when we left 1.5 hours later. However, the early time worked well for us and our daughter who had to travel that evening. The food was wonderful as always. Love those crab cakes!! And my husband was especially pleased with his soft shell crabs. They could work on the fly issue a bit better. We had to change tables because we were in the "fly zone" by the windows."
    Dined on 6/15/2014
  • "The ambience was lacking and loud, the portions small for the price. The food was well prepared and tasty but the meal was not balanced. My husband had a seafood dish, in a broth for $32.00. There were 4 small shrimp, no scallops as advertised and 6 small clams. It was served with no starch component. My husband had to ask for bread. Won't be going back."

  • "Nage remains consistent with their food and service. It never disappoints us when we dine. The Steak Frites on the menu is always a great choice when in doubt on what to have for dinner. The daily specials are usually farm to table so they are very fresh. You won't go wrong with a meal at Nage."
    Dined on 6/13/2014
  • "The actual servers were good, polite and responsive, but the kitchen was slow. A bit rundown inside - some walls were spackled but not painted over."
    Dined on 6/13/2014
  • "Each course was thoughtfully presented, food was delicious, but it took 2 1/2 hours till our main course was served."
    Dined on 6/12/2014
  • "The food was superb. As food goes Nage is top of the list in quality, freshness and taste. Not too romantic though more a Bistro with incredible food. We would go back for the food but for special occasions like an anniversary we would like something more formal. If you want a great meal Nage is the place."

  • "Was recommended by online source and it is now one of our coveted few fantastic 'beach restaurants that are soooo difficult to find in Delaware."
    Dined on 6/7/2014
  • "Small, comfortable place with adequate food. The hummus had a very "off" taste that made it unpalatable."
    Dined on 5/31/2014
  • "Original dishes using local produce. The menu is varied; dinner portions are small, but make up for it with quality."

  • "Great fresh food prepared very well. Very friendly and hospitable service."

  • "My husband and I are summer regulars at Nage Rehoboth. The food is consistently superb! The Seafood a la Nage is truly a must do. Same for the hamburger, which is ground prime rib and mushrooms. This past Saturday, the kitchen was moving very, very slowly, which was the first time in years and countless visits for a slow experience. When we mentioned it to Mark, all caught up very quickly with our food delivery. Still our favorite!"

  • "The food was delicious as well as attractively served. The service was excellent. The restaurant gets extra points from us for changing the utensils between courses. "

  • "My favorite restaurant in Rehoboth - even though it is technically on Route 1. The food is always delicious. The service is spotty - the servers are always friendly and well-informed, but sometimes there is a serious lag - either in getting them to pay attention to you or getting the food to the table. In my opinion, the quality and delightful food combinations and preparations make up for that. Not so for those with whom I was dining - as the rest of the table said they didn't want to eat there any more. I will have to find a way to sneak back there on my own. I highly recommend anything with pork belly - a rather large chunk comes with the shrimp and grits. Mac and Cheese good too! Also recommend the scallop appetizer. "
