Diner Reviews
  • "Nada is so good at taking care of the little details that make a dinner wonderful! In addition to the excellent food, atmosphere, and energy level, the servers, hostesses, bartenders and all others are really just a delight and show joy in doing their jobs well. Our server forgot to put my salad order in, came back and admitted it was his error, and took it off the bill. Also, he got the salad out very quickly, so I could enjoy it while the rest of our family was eating. It's the little things......awesome!"

  • "We had a great dinner at NADA where the Yucatan Chicken was excellent and the salads were great. The wines by the glass were good and our server was very good. Only complaint was having to use a back staircase instead of the main one (for no apparent reason) to use the restroom -- someone was guarding the main staircase !"

  • "The evening was good as far as food goes.....very good soup and delicious pork tacos. The service was friendly and location very good, but noise level was energetic and probably not my "cup of tea" . I would have loved the food and service to also be dished up with more comfort in the noise department."

  • "Food is good, but not necessarily worth a special trip."

  • "This is now my third time to Nada, and the place does not disappoint. This time we sat upstairs near a large window overlooking Walnut Street, which I loved. I was with 3 of my friends, so the 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed our appetizers and entrees. The drinks were delicious as well -- the only hesitation with the whole dining experience was the waiter got our drink orders wrong twice, which has never happened before, so that put a small rain on our parade. We stayed there for about 1.5 hours, and left for a show at the Aranoff Center, and the hosts did not rush us out. Overall, even with the drink mix-up, a pleasurable experience."

  • "The homemade guacamole and chips are a must, but they are addicting, as well. Make sure to save room for the main course (still haven't had a chance to try dessert yet!)."

  • "We hit Nada for Brunch after much celebrating the weekend in Cinci. Service, atmosphere and food were all over the top. Had dined at Nada for dinner many times and always pleased but never had Brunch. From Savory to Sweet items, everything was wonderful. Will definitely be back."

  • "Not sure why but nada was not as good this time. The service was less than optimal which has never been the case. It was not too busy either (good for us but not for business). The food was fantastic as always! The drinks were great once we received them. The service was just poor this go around."

  • "We have loved Nnada over the years... I always order steak fajitas and this time the meat was poor quality. I couldn't even bite through the steak when trying to eat my fajitas. Disappointed!"

  • "Nada is one of our favorite restaurants in Cincinnati. It had a great energetic vibe at all hours and the food is always very good. This restaurant takes your expectations about Mexican food and kicks it up a notch. They combine flavors in unique ways. We particularly enjoy their homemade chips and salsa. The short rib appetizer was outstanding and the main dishes were so large that we ended up taking some food home to enjoy later. Along with attentive and friendly service, Nada is a crowd-pleaser for diners of all ages. We recommend Nada very highly."

  • "I had given up on finding decent Mexican food in Ohio. After I moved here from New Mexico, I tried many Mexican restaurants and found them sadly lacking. I visited Nada because of a recommendation from a friend, and was blown away by the fresh, delicious, homemade food. I was very impressed with the vegetarian tacos. Good job, Nada, for being the first Mexican restaurant in Ohio I would return to."

  • "While this appears to be the HOT PLACE to dine, my first experience left me less than wowed! My dining companion enjoyed the cocktails and food, so maybe it was just me. Willing to try again.....Food was acceptable, but nothing to write home about."

  • "We were seated quickly, upon arrival. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and arrived promptly. The Baja fish tacos were a foodie treat, as well as the guacamole."

  • "Great service! We received the wrong tacos, but they were really quick to bring out the correct ones. The pork belly and salmon tacos were great. Margaritas were really good. We arrived when the place was packed with people going to the show, so it was nice that service never slacked because of this. I would definitely dine here again."

  • "Love the food, but seating was a problem. The table they seated 8 people would have been more appropriate for a party of 6. Also felt cramped in the corner."

  • "The food was amazing. Hubby had pork belly tacos with an egg on top and I had chicken enchiladas. We were both in heaven. Minor issue came up with my good but it was handled promptly. Churros and chocolate dessert were divine. Can't wait to go back."

  • "Nada always delivers quality food at a reasonable price. My favorites on the menu are the baja fish tacos, crispy pork belly tacos, and grilled adobo pork chop. The guacamole is the best I have ever had! I have been to Nada a dozen times, and they always deliver delicious food with great service."

  • "I have been here several times and Nada never seems to disappoint. The food is always impeccable, the staff always knowledgeable and friendly. I recommend this place to anyone looking for some of the best Mexican the city has to offer. Also- i'm a guacamole snob and this place is my #2- so fresh and delcious."

  • "Nada's for lunch was good, not great, but solid good. The food was fresh and interesting, well seasoned, and fun. The service was a bit slow, lacking in some attention to details that we have come to expect from these high quality restaurants in downtown Cincinnati. The service was definitely not bad, but just not great. We enjoyed a fine spring day with a late lunch on the patio and we recommend this for modern Mexican food with a nice selection of drinks."

  • "I had a dinner party for some clients at Nada. The food and service was outstanding. The presentation of the food was well done too. The restaurant can be a bit loud but my table was near the bar. That said, it wasn't too loud that you couldn't hear your quests speaking. Overall a very good choice."

  • "Our boss was in town and I wanted to treat him and myself to your yummy pork belly tacos. I was surprised to discover that they were no longer on your menu but even more delighted to find they could still be available. I ordered them, of course while he declined. Alas, all in all it was a great time and very satisfying lunch. Nada has never disappointed and I'm glad for that. Further remaining flexible to folks like myself who generally go to restaurants for a specific item often. Thank you for being consistent!"

  • "Overall our dining experience was ok. The server was MIA most of the time which equaled empty drinks and no check back after food was served. She was nice and good when she was there but it was sporadic. The music was excessively loud at one point as well - apparently someone was a fan of the song that was playing?- but it was so loud you couldn't hear anything. It was turned down after a few minutes but it was a distraction from the overall dining experience. I did have high expectations regarding Nada as well - friends of mine had raved about it but it was just expensive, ok food. It is a great location if you're headed to the Aronoff but I wouldn't make a special trip to go there."

  • "We had a reservation at 5:15 but arrived early and they were able to seat us right away. Loved that. The food was fabulous. We just had a light meal as we were going to the Aronoff, but we will be back. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. He recommended the ceviche and it was delicious. My husband and I wanted to drink the juice right from the glass."

  • "Nada is always a good spot for upscale Mexican food and great drinks."

  • "Honestly feel this place is a little over rated. It's always good food, good service. Feel rushed when there and it is SO unbelievably loud downstairs, do not attempt conversation."
    Dined on 3/15/2014
  • "This was my first time at Nada. I was surprised at how small the restaurant was and also how small the menu was. We ordered the trio chips and salsa. In particular the green salsa was very, very good. I had the shrimp tacos which were wonderful and my guest also had carnita tacos. We were both pleased with our meal and very full. The prices were very reasonable, however the service was terrible. There did not seem to be a lot of servers working and we waiting a long time between our drink order to order food and it took a very long time for the bill to be delivered. All in all it was a tasty place good for a group of friends but not necessarily something I would recommend for a date."
