A word from Nada
Nada is a contemporary Mexican restaurant in the heart of downtown Cincinnati. Located on the corner of 6th and Walnut, we are right next to the Aronoff and across from the CAC, perfect for both pre and post theatre. Nada is open for lunch five days a week, brunch on Saturday & Sunday, and dinner every night. Nada features one of downtown Cincinnati's best patios during the summer months. Inside the restaurant, you will be part of Nada's inspired and spirited design, expert service, and chef-driven cuisine. It's an experience unto itself in Cincinnati.   • "Went for date night, everything was weird. Seated on the second floor, took at least ten minutes for our server to come by. He was extremely awkward, but trying - so that's something. There was a manager type on the floor in a suit but he spent our entire meal kissing the behinds of a couple two tables over... except for when he was absolutely reaming one of the servers. Just a really weird scene. The food was flavorful but poorly executed - the mac and cheese was hands-down our favorite. The cazuela was greasy but tasty, the rice it was served with was at least 2 minutes overcooked. The enchiladas were - just not good. Had only had carryout before, won't be back."

  • "I had some friends visit me in Cincinnati this past weekend. Having never been to Nada before but ALWAYS hearing great things, I decided to take them there for an early birthday celebration and to see what the hype was all about. The staff was friendly and attentive, the margaritas were mixed just right, the food was delicious and our waiter was faced with a challenge of handling a gluten free customer but he was up for it. He even brought out a birthday dessert noting that the item he chose was gluten free so that my friend was able to enjoy the desert with the rest of our group. We will definitely be making plans to dine at Nada when they come back to Cincinnati in a few months. Well done Nada! We will see you soon :)"

  • "As usual, Nada was amazing. I have dined at Nada many times so I brought my sister along to celebrate her birthday. She had never eaten at Nada but is now hooked. Our favorites were, of course, the mac n'cheese (my sister does not like spicy food - even though the mac has jalapenos in it, she absolutely loved the mac; it's not spicy at all) and the cheesecake. Delish!"

  • "Nada is definitely a favorite for my wife and I and a few of our adult friends. Awesome place to gather, have a drink, and a great meal. They definitely did not rush us. Start with the sampler of salsas and a grapefruit margarita. Fantastic selection of "fancy" tacos, salads and other options. We got a few things and shared with the table together. It's now on our list as one of the best spots in Cincinnati."

  • "Very friendly and accommodating staff! I had the ceviche appetizer which was good but didn't really care for the orange flavor. I also had the pork green chile enchiladas entree which had great flavor but the lack of a neutral or cleansing flavor on the plate made it hard to finish. The seating made it difficult to have any privacy as the tables were so close together."

  • "Not a typical mexican restaurant. Good range of menu items, covering both meat and fish ingredients. The Ceviche was very good, as were the fried fish tacos and the salmon tacos. Staff was very friendly, and were very quick in replacing a wrong entree item."

  • "We had reservations and when we got there, our table wasn't quite ready. The hostess was very friendly and let us know immediately what was going on. We all grabbed a drink at the bar, and by the time we did that, she let us know our table was ready. Our server did an excellent job, our food all arrived perfectly and he was able to offer a few suggestions for meal choices. Trey did a great job! We had a concert to go to, and everything went smoothly and we were done with dinner in plenty of time. Wonderful food, wonderful services- will absolutely be back!"

  • "We chose this place for our anniversary dinner. We usually pick different places we have not been before. This year we chose NADA. It was a nice and clean restaurant. Food was good but not like the authentic Mexican food as I aspected and it was a little over priced ($30 a person with teas). Seating was quick with a reservation. Chairs seemed hard wood for sitting for dining or conversations. Service was okay for a weekday evening. Atmosphere was loud and echoing."

  • "great spot in downtown cincy. sitting outdoors is great - though the ambiance inside has a fun vibe too. The mojito was one of the best I've had in a LONG time! ( interestingly, the margarita was nothing special ). Mixto salad hit the spot and the baja fish tacos were really good, some had more guac than others but the flavors are very good, just the same. I like how the Guacamole comes with veggies and the chips are yummy....."

  • "Have always loved Nada... Still very good today! Great drinks and food, nice ambiance. Only wish is that they'd bring back the cazuela sampler trio that includes the mole. Was so good, and when they got rid of it one of the folks told us "it was hard to make!" Considering more people we were there with ordered that more than any other dish, it's perplexing. Overall still really good. Bring back the mole, and I'd move it for 5 stars!"

  • "When we first arrived, we were sat upstairs and the first table next to the window. In the past my wife has expressed that she does not like this table due to the high traffic of customers coming up and down the stairs. Before we ordered our drinks one of the managers came up to our table and offered us another table downstairs without us requesting it. He said he saw on my Open Table reservation that I had previously requested not to have the upstairs window table. I totally forgot about sending this in a while back. Dinner was great and we can't wait to go back!"

The scene was fun and exciting, the wait staff was knowledgeable and friendly, and the food was top notch! We had the macaroni and trio of salsas for an appetizer and I had the pork belly tacos for dinner. The food couldn't have been any better. I would recommend this place to anyone living or traveling to Cincinnati!"

  • "We had the fish tacos as an entree. They were delicious, but it was a disappointment the fish was fried. It's not hard to make something delicious when it's fried. We had the guac appetizer. The guac is very good, but we thought the corn chips they served with it took away from the guac. The chips were thick & salty and hid the guac. We had the Mexican mac n cheese and loved it. It was very creamy and cheesy with a proper crispy topping. We thought the Margaritas were lousy although they are highlighted as a specialty. My grapefruit Margarita tasted like lime juice. My wife's mango-themed Margarita tasted like lime juice. We had to imagine they just had someone make them who wasn't trained properly. Overall nice place with interesting menu."

  • "I visited Cincinnati this weekend and read the great reviews about Nada. It lived up to the hype. The food was delicious. The guacamole was the best I've ever had. The atmosphere was fun and all of the staff was so friendly. Our waiter Stephen was the best. When he found out we were from out of town he told us all of the fun things to do and even drew a map for us so we could get around. Such a nice experience. I would recommend Nada to anyone who loves Mexican food and wants a fun dining experience."

  • "This is one of our most favorite restaurants. We went recently and took our new grand baby. We had a reservation, and they had a table inside for us. When we arrived, we requested the open one outside, and they were able to be flexible. We were seated at a table outside, kinda in a corner. It was perfect for the baby to keep sleeping, and for us to enjoy our evening. The wait staff is very attentive, yet not intrusive. The weather, the staff, the food, could have not been any better. Always the restaurant we go to when the whole family is available and in town! Thanks for another wonderful evening."

  • "Most importantly the food is amazing. Eclectic Mexican. Ate brunch there before, great selection, go for the French Toast. My wife's favorite is shrimp tacos, I like anything chicken. Ask to eat overlooking the kitchen, it's amazing to watch the food prep, it's almost like a dance! Met 4 friends after a Reds game, great place to reminisce with old friends. Excellent location, beautiful restaurant. Can't wait to get back to Cincinnati to eat at Nada again!"

The only things that could have made our experience better were 1) a friendlier waiter (he was a bit ho-hum) and 2) less expensive food items. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and our evening."

  • "My husband and I went here on a Wednesday evening, and having made reservations, we got right in. The waiter was very courteous and friendly, and everything we ordered came out quickly. We ordered chips and salsa and guacamole for an appetizer. The guacamole is excellent here! Let's just say that in lieu of a dessert, we just ordered another round of chips and guac! For entrées, my husband had the grilled chicken tacos, and I had the vegetarian tacos. We each swapped a taco to try the other's. Both tacos we delicious! The veggie was a bit rich, but had a great flavor. The chicken was fresh and tender. I also recommend the margaritas here. So yummy and very generous with the spirits! We will definitely come here again."
