Service was really great. Lots of good food for shairng bites. Red Snapper and the empanadas was our groups's favorite. Only miss was the Ceviche - it lacked flavor.

We went to this restaurant to see the dancing and thought the extra cost would be worth it, but the dancing was just normal people dancing. We did not get to see professional Salsa dancers as we had hoped. Would have went elsewhere due to the cost if we had known this.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at the bar eating from their half price tappas menu. Everything that we ordered was prepared with excellence and the service was great. They have a wonderful cocktail selection that fits the theme of their restaurant too!

Second time here and really enjoyed it-again. Food is delicious, from the ceviche to the grilled skirt steak. Service is good considering both times it was very busy. Quite noisy as it approaches 9pm and very loud (club music level) by 11pm. Dancing starts at 11 and the staff clears the tables from the dance floor in an impressive procession! The music sets a great ambiance. Go with enough cash to try a selection of menu items - it's all fabulous! Or, just get a small plate or two and don't spend a lot. Both are feasible. Groups over 5 were seated at cramped tables, so keep it 5 or under or request a table off the dance floor in your reservation. Try the spiked horchata for dessert with the churros (so good)!

Excellent place for late food, nice bar and dance. This was much unexpected that a resaturant turns into a Latin Dace place after 11 pm with a great DJ and dancers. The food is excellent and appreciated the combination of latin flavors, small plates so you can eat slowly and sharing with your party until you are full! Prices are also good for what is has to offer. I plan to come again!!

Outstanding as always. Every time I visit Chicago, I visit Nacional 27. I discovered it years ago after a feature on the Food Network. They are continuously outstanding, the food is exquisite, the cocktails outstanding, and the wait staff attentive. My favorite restaurant in Chicago, and one of the top restaurants in the country.
