  • Special Events & Promotions: Join us Tuesday, May 20, at Mystic Steakhouse℠ for a gourmet pairing dinner with John Leinenkugel, fifth-generation family craft brewer from the Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Company. Mr. Leinenkugel will speak about each beer served throughout the evening. The event begins at 7 p.m. with flatbread lobster salad, followed by beer-braised rabbit with mole negro, elk tenderloin and foie gras with duck fat hash, and warm polenta and dark cherry cake. $50 per person; tax and gratuity will be added. Credit card required to hold reservations; card will be charged May 20. Cancellations accepted through May 18. Limited to the first 70 guests. Our regular menu will not be available this evening.

  • "The place was crowded, that's fine, and we were seated and waited on quickly. We were seated next to the room that allows smoking (what's with that ... oh yeah, we're on a reservation ... but can't they wait until they can get back to the casino to have a smoke?). Even with the doors shut, we could still smell the smoke and 3 in the party had stuffed up noses which didn't enhance the meal. Jennifer was great as a server ... very friendly and efficient and the food was very good. Enjoyable except for the smoke."

  • "I had the Ribeye/Shrimp Combo with salad and my date had the Prime Rib with salad. She had a glass of house wine and I had a VT. The meal was less than $70. Plus, it was my birthday so we shared a free desert. Wish they had other vegetable options other than asparagus (I don't like asparagus), but otherwise a nice way to spend my birthday. Got plenty to eat with a Ribeye sandwich the day after. We did not gamble so that made the price even a better deal!"

The service both times was extremely hurried. No chitchat, no romancing the menu, just a polite "Are you ready to order" and a "Can I bring you dessert" five minutes before you're done with the entree. Nine of this is to say it was a bad experience. The prices are reasonable for the quality, the food comes out quickly, and the beer and wine list are just long enough. But don't expect Ruth's Chris."

She finally got our drink order and we waited another 10 minutes for our order to be taken, another 10 minutes for salads, and 15 more minutes for our dinner. We watched others around us sit, dine, and leave during the time we were there. We were practically invisible. Worst of all no one seemed to care!"

All was fine. Service was average. Wine list was limited. We were hoping for exceptional food. It was not. Perhaps the Buffet in their other restaurant is better. We wanted to be served a made to feel special. It was just an average meal and experience."

  • "The four of us ordered steak. My petite filet mignon was excellent. My grandson and son had ribeyes which they said were quite fatty and disappointing in texture and taste. My grandson said he prefers the strip steak at Applebee's---I take him there often for steak, one of his favorite foods. The calamari was great with its tasty light breading as was the warm pumpernickel/rye bread with raisins and nuts: delicious! Wild rice soup was average, veggies (baked potato, asparagus) were tasty. Obviously, the disappointment with the steaks made the pricing hard to accept, especially since we were celebrating my son's 50th birthday........"

It was not accompanied with melted butter, so I asked for it. I do like my lobster with melted butter, but that is just me. I did not care for the sauce it came with, but that is just me. The salad was good also. My husbands' prim rib was very good."

  • "Always enjoy going to the Steak House as we have always been happy with the service and especially the food. We were disappointed that they removed the vegetable from the entre. Would it cost that much more to include it with the meal? We were happy when they returned the salad to the meal as that was gone for awhile. Not sure why they felt they had to make these changes. We always recommend the Steakhouse when we are looking for a place to dine with friends. I was taken back when I received an email saying that we had not kept our reservation, when in fact we had. They could probably instruct the front desk to make sure they check people in when they come. Don't want any restaurant to think that we do not keep our reservations."

  • "The restaurant was very chilly when we first walked in and remained so throughout our dinner. Our order of crab cakes arrived stone cold, so we sent them back. The second order was better and tasty, though quite small. Our steaks were cooked to perfection, but my baked potato was way over cooked and only warm inside. But, the worst part of our dining experience was the cigarette smoke wafting around the entire restaurant from their smoking section. We were very surprised to learn they even had a smoking section, given most all restaurants any more are smoke-free. This was our second visit to Mystic Steakhouse, and I doubt we go back for a third unless we don't want to get in our car and leave the casino to find another restaurant."

  • "Although I was a little skeptical to dine at a casino steakhouse, the reviews I read beforehand did help to make my final decision to try it. I ordered the prime rib and it was very delicious; not the "best I've ever had" but it definitely wasn't disappointing. My boyfriend ordered the Filet Mignon (well done) and I lost count of how many times he said "this is so good/great flavor". Overall we were very impressed with the food. The service wasn't the greatest--our actual waitress never came back to ask us "how is everything?" but she did return once to refill our drinks and to bring us our check. Otherwise it was other workers who stopped by and took away plates, etc. Not a huge deal but it still wasn't impressive. "
