MyMoon RestaurantA Place for different occasionsI've been here three times; once with my girlfriend and two more times with my ex (the same person I came here the first time). We both love this place. This last occasion was because she is moving back home to Trinidad. We love the ambience, service and the food. It was a little hot that night though.
We always try to have some different and they always have a different menu. The bread and the olive spread was unavoidable and very tasty. We usually have some tapas as appetizers. We had the fried calamari, tuna (soy sauce, ginger and sesame seeds) and the grilled asparagus. All fantastic.
She had the grilled hanger steak while I had the pan seared wild mackerel. Both were very good.
For dessert, we shared a chocolate souffle. Excellent!5/31/2013 12:00:00 AMMom's Day Buffet BrunchWe came here for the special Mother's Day Brunch. It was very casual and I do like buffets. I don't need to wait on staff and order.. I can just grab and sit and if I'm still hungry, grab again. We sat up on the upper deck/patio and the sun was beating like crazy. I would suggest more umbrellas for that patio area.

The menu is inventive and delicious. Lots of very pleasant surprises. The Ox Tail was a great choice. We were a fairly large group so we could try lots of dishes and everyone was very happy. One (of four) main courses we had was sort of a miss, but everything else was terrific. I highly recommend this a little off the beaten track place. The food was FANTASTIC -- some of the best in Williamsburg. Inventive and tasty. The service was also outstanding regardless of the snow storm.
