Diner Reviews
  • "our food was excellent. we took 4 workers for lunch on a sunday. 2 were celebrating graduations and i noted that on the reservation. i called ahead to confirm the reservation. our food was excellent, reallly good quality and beautifully presented. the service was only so-so - our waiter seemed to ignore us for a long time and then i felt that he was just businesslike and a little arrogant when he did help us. Noone congratulated the graduates at all. I think they were preparing for a larger dinner party and we were not that important."

  • "We enjoyed Mykonos as much this time as the first time. The restaurant has a very european flavor (it is Greek, after all!) but serves and treats its clients as one would expect if one was european on 'the continent.' A total, enjoyable immersion. Food was great and the Greek wines are very good."

  • "You are always treated like Family here. The service is super professional yet casual. The food? Basically, you could close your eyes, point to a couple things on the menu randomly and never feel sorry!"

  • "My wife and I celebrated a birthday at Mykonos last week and it was a very good experience. The food was outstanding. We shared the Saganaki appetizer, which was delicious, as well as a grilled shrimp with feta appetizer, which was good. I had the lamb chops, which were cooked exactly as requested. My wife enjoyed the haddock special. The portion was so large she could not finish it. Overall, it was a very good experience. The only criticism is that the entrees were brought to us before the second appetizer was finished. otherwise, this would have been a five star night."

  • "We've driven past Mykonos Grill for almost more than a decade. Thanks to Open Table reviews we finally decided to try it. Service was outstanding from the moment you're greeted at the door and the food couldn't be higher quality. We'll be regulars."

  • "I told the server that I'd never experience Ouzo and that I wanted to be broken in. Broken in I was; three times. After the first glass of Greek firewater, the sexy food started dancing like Zorba on the plate. I had to resist the temptation to dance on the table. This is simply a fun place with WONDERFUL greek food. The appetizer platter is the way to go for two people, followed with ONE order of the hot entree platter to share. OMG... On appetizers, the tarasomalata (sp?) with the greek caviar was an aphrodisiac. The spanikopita was fantastic; the moussaka made me teary-eyed ~ a perfect treatment of the eggplant that wasn't mushy. Of course, then, more Ouzo. Mykonos forced me to go to AA: Athenian Anonymous. Will return here."

  • "I've been wanting to try Mykonos Grill for years ... and I'm so glad I did! My brother and I ate lunch there yesterday, and the food was superb, even down to the pre-meal bread and olive oil. I ordered the combination platter ... the dolmades (stuffed grape leaves) with lemon sauce were especially tasty. My brother ordered the grilled chicken, and he indicated that the chicken was juicy and tasty. Excellent wait staff. Adorable decor. Can't wait to go back!"

  • "I travel a long distance to eat at Mykonos often. The service is terrific (for all ages...) and the food classic but also up to date. The octopus is very tender and well prepared, the avgolemono soup to die for and tarama extremely good (if you love cod roe). Since the kitchen was upgraded a few years ago, it's been consistently good. If you have not been in a while, try again."

  • "We really enjoyed our dinner at Mykonos Grill! The grilled octopus was wonderful, just like we've had in Greece, and the favs bean purée was delicious. I also really enjoyed the hot vegetarian platter-great grape leaves and spanakopita and imam bayildi which you don't see very often and was perfect-we'll definitely be back!"

  • "We brought an out of town guest with us, who is raving about our dinner. Great staff, apitizers to desert are prepared perfectly. We will return for another great meal."

  • "Mykonos has first-rate food and very good service. It does get a bit noisy with tables full of nearby office people who seem to have no volume control. But the restaurant has no control over that, unfortunately. Many people are simply loudmouths with no class."

  • "The salads are so fresh and delicious. I mostly order their fish but my husband had filet Kabobs and he loved them. I would recommend this to all my friends."

  • "It was a busy Saturday night and the food showed little attention. The branzino/breen was flavorful, but too buttery. The moussaka was burned on top. The 4th person had a lamb dish that eh said was good. We would go back, btu look at other people/s plates to see what looked like it was well prepared."

  • "I was there for Valentine´day...so I wanted to be with my love... however other tables was so closer that I can listen their talkings... I think that everything is not business... I would prefer a restaurant more magic... But if it is not a problem for you...the food and the service is excellent"

  • "Good Greek Food...on the pricey side, but it's worth it for special occasions. We went on Valentine's day, so it was somewhat crowded and noisy but got the sense that was due to the holiday and not normal operations."

  • "We have often dined at Mykonos over the years for this special day in our lives. The staff and owners are very welcoming and do their best to make us feel comfortable. The food is always great and served hot and well-paced. We never feel rushed. This is one of our go-to restaurants for special occasions."

  • "We had one of our worst experiences ever at this restaurant. The food was mediocre, given how expensive it was. On the top of that, the manager treated us like second-class customers. We booked two weeks earlier, and we were celebrating our 8th wedding anniversary and Valentine's day. The manager seated us at the worst table, just in front of the bathroom and the kitchen entrance. There was no reason for the manager to do that except his own xenophobic and disrespectful assumptions (from my first name). When asked about that, he strangely said, with a "caught kid" look on his face, that our table is in a "quiet" spot that customers frequently requested. His actions strongly indicate that he is both a poor manager and not a very good guy."

  • "Romantic Valentines dinner. Food was great with a paired bottle of wine. Our server and our host Angelo were beyond accommodating and friendly."

  • "Nice options -three fixed price options -4 course meals - food was extremely good. Service was generally good although our server asked if we were ready for dessert before our main course arrived a bit tardy. The food was hot and flavorful. Would do it again for sure."

  • "Restaurant was quiet when our group arrived at 6, but had gotten distinctly noisier by the time we left. chatter and cozy tables, not rowdy. Décor was simple, clean and bright, reminiscent of the Greek isles. The staff were pleasant and competent. The food was simply, but elegantly presented and tasted as good as it looked. We all ordered seafood, the shrimp and a couple kinds of bass, The seasonings were definitely Mediterranean, but delicately prepared, nothing too heavy, nothing overdone. Unless you're really hungry (or enjoy carry-home) you might consider sharing an appetizer or ordering a couple small plates, rather than an appetizer and entre. The dessert menu was tempting, but no one had room for more."

  • "Everything was exceptional. Coming from NY and being accustomed to authentic greek cuisine, we were thrilled to find this restaurant. Small plates were phenomenal especially the mussels! All of the fish was very fresh and prepared perfectly. And the service was excellent as well!"

  • "Although it is basically a Greek restaurant the menu is diverse enough that there is something for everyone. There are even wonderful vegetarian dishes."

  • "We have always found the food and service at Mykonos to be very good and we have always enjoyed our meals there. We went on Saturday night with some friends and, although my trout was excellent, as were the mussels ordered by one of our friends, the fish special (corvina) my husband and friend ordered was tough and just not good. Our waiter was delightful, asked if they wanted to have something else (they didn't at that point), brought out a gratis dessert, and took both fish entrees off the bill. No place can be perfect all the time but, when something isn't perfect, the test is whether a restaurant does the right thing. Mykonos did, and we will definitely go back."
