  • "Food and service was very good! Had a reservation yet still had to wait 20min for our table on a Monday night, yet worth it!"

  • "We had a reservation and we sat immediately upon entering the restaurant - already crowded on a Monday at 5:30. Service was excellent, very friendly - made great recommendations. The food was really delicious! Some unique menu items, too! I had the pork chop and it really was amazing! The mashed potatoes were dreamy and so were the beets! I did think it was a little pricey for a pork chop, but I definitely recommend it. All of the desserts were $9 & they sounded very yummy, but I had to get my dinner wrapped because I stuffed myself with the unique and tasty pepper appetizer! My husband had the chili and the grilled chicken sandwich, both very good."

  • "My wife and I split everything and had plenty of food. We were there late and waitress seemed a little worn out but was good overall."

  • "Definitely has a diner feel, but the food is high quality. I had herb grilled chicken that had amazing crispy skin. My husband had the grilled chicken sandwich which was good, but he wished he had ordered the burger which looked great. We enjoyed it and think it's a great local find for lunch. Would definitely go back."

  • "We had a great lunch, food and service were fantastic. I especially enjoyed seeing how all the staff work together to make the restaurant this good."

  • "We always try to eat at least one meal there on a wine country visit"

  • "This was more of a disappointment then my prior 10 visits. I must say the calamari with the asian slaw was perfect and I should have stuck with that for my lunch. The unfortunate part to this is that we paid $15.00 for a margherita, unkowing the price and we each had two. So $60.00 in drinks and felt nothing from them....way too expensive for what you get. I always recommended Mustards to anyone I know going to the Napa Valley region, but I will advise to ask the price of a mixed drink first. Too bad."

  • "This is the second time I've taken my mom on a day trip to Napa that has included Mustard Grill for our lunch spot. The food is wonderful. The service is fantastic. The atmosphere is lovely. It is the perfect place to go to treat oneself to a very good meal."

  • "The food and wine list were great. However restaurant laked in service, a bit overwelmed by its success. We had a reservation, yet we waited 35 minutes to be seated. Water and bread took a while to be served and waitress made mistake in our order; everyone being very freindly and presenting their excuse along the way. Nevertheless, dining at Mustards Grill remained an overall very good food experience."

  • "Don't let the fun and casual atmosphere fool you. They take their food seriously here! Can't wait to get back."

  • "Very solid fare, from burgers to the edge of fine dining. The energy is great, the wait staff knowledgeable and brisk, and the ingredients fresh. We will definitely return. A winner in its category, and a nice break from our week of eating brilliantly."

  • "We couldn't enjoy the food as they rushed us through our dinner. Didn't even have a chance to order wine. The server grabbed the wine menu out of my hands without asking."

  • "This restaurant does not allow for reserving tables for large party. When we had to break up our booking into several, the hostess got confused as we showed up under different booking. She obviously had problem herself with math and showed extreme frustration and started talking in an extremely unfriendly tone. The food was just fair, and it is not good enough to worth the humiliation. We will definitely black list this restaurant and will never return since their attitude was simply unacceptably arrogant."

  • "So glad we took the advice of a friend to visit Mustards! The food was unbelievable, but our server was over the top! Would go back on our next visit to Yountville!"

  • "Food was great! Service was fine. Enjoyed the atmosphere of casual with a touch of class. White table cloths changed out after each setting. Waiters in jeans yet buttoned down, pressed, white long sleeve shirts with black aprons. Menu selection read to satisfy mot palettes. Someone certainly could find something to enjoy from elegant cuisine to the GREAT cheeseburger with fries that I enjoyed. Presentation of the finer foods was exceptional (noticed as the food passed by for other tables). I would highly recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner if you are in the area, dressed casually yet desire finer foods. Make reservations. The restaurant was constant with patrons and that was before our 4:30 p.m. arrival time."

  • "Have known about Mustards Grill for a very long time, but never went there till now. Its reputation did not dissappoint! Fabulous food and ambience. After lunch we strolled through their extensive kitchen garden. Great experience!"

  • "This was our second visit to Mustards....it was soooo noisey! Food was just average (except for the onion rings!). We are vegans and there was little to offer us - a few items with no cheese would be very nice. Some outdoor dining would add a lot of Mustards."

  • "The food was fantastic, as usual, but they seated a large very loud group next to us. Everyone felt very squished into a small space. It ruined the ambuance. The waitress also elbowed my boyfriend in the head by accident and he was just sipping his wine which caused it to spill. She offered a short apology but I felt she should have offered a free glass of wine or desert. She was a little flippant about it. After I talked up the restaurant he was not too impressed."

  • ". . . with food no one can beat. Perfect device too. When the menu is creative, the food is fresh and delicious, and the service is fun you have a place you can't miss."

  • "We had the Mongolian Pork Chop, which was outstanding, as usual. Finished up with a slice of Key Lime tort, also outstanding."

  • "The food was great, no doubt about it. Unfortunately our server had little interst in our table, little interest in telling us much about the food or tending to us at all. We felt herded through. Disappointed."

  • "My wife had a chicken sandwich which was very good. I had the signature dish, the Mongolian pork chop, which was very good."

  • "Terrific. The rabbit was exceptional. Only complaint was waitress being a tad aloof but maybe it was an off day for her."
    Dined on 7/17/2014
  • "We ordered a 1/2 bottle of white wine. Unfortunately, it arrived at the table at a temperature much too warm for white wine. Our server quickly remedied that by putting the bottle in a bucket of ice, but it took a bit long to get correct temperature."

  • "We made reservations at Mustards based on an episode on the Food Network channel. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed in both the food and atmosphere. The tables were so close together, I could hear the conversation at the next table better than what my husband said sitting across a small table."

  • "This restaurant came recommended to us, but we were disappointed. We had a group of 6 and they put us right by the washrooms. Five of us ordered the famous pork chop but everyones was tough. One person ordered the ribs but they were far too smokey for him to eat."

  • "I really enjoyed my meal at Mustards. I got the chicken with lemon and garlic. It was a generous 1/2 chicken portion. The chicken was beautifully browned and nice and juicy inside. There were 4 or 5 cloves of roasted garlic (delicious on the wonderful crusty bread they serve). The chicken is served with garlic mash and string beans; however, I chose to have double string beans. There were beautiful yellow and green beans in the light and lovely lemon sauce. I couldn't finish it all, so home it went with me. My mom had the calamari with curry slaw. A very generous portion of slaw, but the way it was served was somewhat overwhelming; the calamari was buried underneath a huge mountain of the slaw. I have to say the slaw is fantastic."

  • "Have driven by Mustards many times. Finally got reservations but I'm guessing you have to Plan ahead further to get 7 or 8 o'clock. The food surpassed all of my expectations. I had Lamb chop and my wife had sea bass, both were exceptional. The service was also outstanding our waiter was present without being hovering. Mustards is known for their wine list but took my own and the corkage was reasonable at $15. The creme brulee was pretty standard. Over all we will not fail to visit here on each of our future visits to Napa Valley."

  • "My husband and I came here for our wedding anniversary celebration. We've been to Mustards a few times before and loved it. When we entered (with reservations), I mentioned it was our anniversary and I was asked if we like "bubbly". I said yes. We werE immediately seated and our served brought us each a glass of champagne...nice! We asked for the onions rings as a starter. My husband ordered crab cakes for us to share. We each got one although pictures of the same dish I saw later had 3 crab cakes/ order! For the main, my husband ordered the hanger steak and I ordered the fresh Sea Bass. They were both good, not excellent. I usually order the pork chop which I love...wait staff is exceptional. Signed menu when we left!"

  • "Everyone at our table had a great meal and really enjoyed it except me. The ambiance is good but it is a bit live and hard to have a conversation. The room is appointed well. I had the ribs which were burnt, dry and tasteless. I would like to go back and try something else, but it will be a long time"
