This was our first time eating at Mustards Grill and we had a great time. The setting is nice without being stuffy and the menu had lots of fun choices. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Also, the restaurant has a very impressive garden next door that you can tour. We would definitely recommend Mustards.

Our reservation was in the system when we arrived and were seated immediately. Our server realized that we had driven over 60 miles over a mountain and was very patient. We enjoyed our cocktails and wine along with a slit cescar and the house special (The Porrk Chop). The chop was a bit smaller than last year but just as tasty.

My wife and I ate here on a Sunday night and made reservations about two weeks ahead. All they could fit us in was an early sitting at 5pm which worked for us, as we were wine tasting that day in the area, but make a reservation well in advance to your visit. Both of our plates were good, she went out of her comfort zone and tried the Mongolian pork chop which looked good. I had a slab of their 14oz ribeye which was mostly gristle...What did it for us at the end was the dessert! A warm hazelnut chocolate brownie with espresso ice cream and lathered in caramel sauce!! This made up for their lackluster wine list. We were going to purchase a decent bottle of red but you will spend hundreds!! Take a bottle of Dick Vermeil and pay corkage!!

This was my second time at Mustards and it is definitely a Napa Valley favorite for me. The dining room is lovely , the service is good, and the food is delicious! The portions are generous enough to share, so I always get to try more than more good dish. Our dessert was awesome! Can't wait for another opportunity to go again.

We came for our first visit to the area. Mustards was recommended. We had an early reservation, 4:30, which i recommend as by the time we left it was a full house and getting moderately noisy. Excellent service and hubby said best ribs he's had at any restaurant.

We arrived on time for our reservation. The hostess said she just needed to set up our table, then disappeared for 15-20 minutes. We observed that there was no vacant table to be set up. While waiting we read the menu and specials and were disappointed. The tiny foyer was really noisy, a very loud group at the nearby bar, and noise floating in from the dining room as well. not the atmosphere we wanted for a wine country lunch. We decided to give up. We have been fans of Mustards in the past, but not sure we'll return.

Overall, our meal was great, but we were a bit disappointed in our experience. We booked a late dinner reservation due to a day packed with wine tasting and a need to watch our Alma Mater play football at 5:00. By the end of dinner, the staff was literally moping around our table. We understood that it was late, but when you plan for a nice, and somewhat expensive, dinner and the restaurant accepts the reservation, I believe that it's fair to expect the same service that you would get any other time. I guess that it's just unfortunate. At the end of the day, I would recommend the food to anyone!

This place came recommended, but the food here just fell flat. Nothing special about it. Felt the quality of the meat and it's preparation left much to be desired and even disliked the dessert. The tamale appetizer was the lone bright spot. There are better meals to be had in the valley and definitely some other exquisite places to try in Yountville. Also it is very loud and hard to hear across the table, and this in coming from someone in her 20's, who typically likes energetic restaurants.

Had not been to Mustard's Grill in years but had good memories of last visit. Felt lucky to snag a restaurant just two days ahead of time. Now I know why a table was available. The place was packed with guests who looked like they were one-time visitors or came fresh off a tour bus. The staff seemed stressed and focused on getting guests through their meals quickly. And the food was not what you'd expect. My spare ribs were overcooked, dry, and tough. My partner's cheese custard and roasted vegetables were limited to an overly cheesy square, small eggplant slices, and a few cherry tomatoes. Since we don't go to Napa often and were looking forward to a good meal, this was a particularly disappointing experience.

We have heard great reviews about Mustards but our experience was horrible. We had 2pm lunch reservations for 2 people - we were seated 20 minutes late. They were very busy and packed. We must have ordered the 2 worst dishes on the menu: the Hunan chicken salad and grilled ahi sandwich. Both items need to be removed from the menu.

Have been dining here for over 20 years and it never disappoints. I have had maybe 1 bad meal. The bun was stale on a sandwich. They however took care of it plus went above and beyond to make up for it. Recommend reservations on weekends. Lunch time can be very busy. Bar is small and basically a holding place for people waiting for a table.

Went to Napa for the weekend and Mustards was highly recommended by friends who had dined there several times. Had reservations for a late lunch, 2:45, and were seated shortly after arriving. I ordered the hanger steak..delicious. Others in our group ordered the pork chop and chicken which also got rave reviews, but one other ordered the smoked duck, unfortunately, the smoked flavor was so overwhelming, that's all you tasted! The only other negative was our waiter...though efficient, he never once smiled or exhibited a very affable presence..he made us feel rushed. We noticed other waiters interacting amiably with their guests. Too bad...as I would have had a completely positive experience otherwise.
