It has an old-school New York brasserie decor and vibe that appeals to me. The service is very professional and attentive. They have a good mixed drink list, including unique special drinks and older classics: all are expertly mixed and well-balanced. The food menu is similarly split between the more adventurous (some game meats, duck, interesting combinations) and classics like a Caesar salad thrown in for reassurance. The food itself is reliable though not mind-blowing, especially considering that the prices are not particularly cheap. The steak frites was spectacular! We couldn't decide what part was better... the steak or the amazing fries!!
The drinks are very interesting, a great change from a simple champagne or vodka soda kind of place! The wine list has a lot of choices with 6oz, 9oz, half litre or bottles, and some really great VQA's to choose from too!
Great ambiance in the restaurant! Very attentive staff who really know their stuff!

The menu is simple and tasty, especially the appetizers which are really fun to share. Thehighlight for me, however, is the drink menu.
