"The food, ambience, and service were outstanding. I was expecting/hoping it would be great, but extremely impressed by how they outdid themselves in all aspects. Our waiter was informative and punctual, but not pushy. The greeter/owner was very nice. The chef was spectacular. We ordered an app, 2 main courses, and 2 desserts. We were treated with a wonderful amuse-bouche to start things off and a sorbet before the main course. Magnificent

"Muse is a delicious unexpected pearl in a small pond. We were very pleasantly surprised with everything here - decor, food, service. I had purchased a Restaurant . com voucher for a different restaurant and was unable to use it, so I ended up getting one for Muse instead and I am happy that happened. Muse is located in Oxford, PA, which is a little out of the way if you live in DE, but it was worth the trip. The restaurant is intimate and romantic, but housed plenty of families as well. The food was beautifully prepared and delicious. The waitstaff was a coordinated effort and were attentive without being pushy or overbearing. The restaurant is a BYO, which was also nice on the diner's wallet. Great place to relax and eat."

"Very excited to find another restaurant that focuses on using local produce and ingredients.The food quality was excellent, however some items fell just short of the mark. The butternut squash soup had a wonderful flavor but needed to be served a bit warmer. The seared scallops were perfectly cooked but again just a little cool for my taste. The chicken fettuccine was amazing as was the creme brulee. Definitely worth a visit."

"This is a restaurant trying very hard to be something that it is not quite - yet. Classy, big-city decor is quite a contrast with the main street of Oxford, PA. The staff is friendly to a fault, but have not yet managed to rise to the demands of the "style" dictated by a management. The menu is spare and simple, perhaps too much so offering a "Muse burger" for (gulp) $16. When a restaurant has not one but TWO amuse bouche (bouches?), it is trying a bit too hard.

The food was professional and competent, but in no way inspired. Contrived might be better as in the offering of Pulled Pork Mac & Cheese (which was nicely done and tasty, if a bit odd). Prices fit the restaurant's aspirations, but a bit high for today's reality."
