I was really pleasantly surprised at the menu which is very entertaining to read - chef-owner Matthew Guiffrida has a way with words - witty yet completely descriptive of the various dishes. I had the "Not Ya Mamma’s Meatballs” and “Pesto Seared GIANT Sea Scallops Served on Split Pea Parmesan Puree with Grilled Summer Vegetable Ratatouille And Roasted Artichoke Hummus”. They were both DELICIOUS!!! We ate on the terrace as the inside was a bit noisy but what's also very attractive is the outdoor lounge at the entrance. The prix fixe menu is worth every penny, with a selection of dishes to fit most palates. Love the ambiance and, of course, the effect of the tropical fish tank. If you're lucky, the chef will come out and spend a few moments talking to you about the great food he has prepared that night! While this was offered, most appetizers and entrees had a supplemental charge of up to $12.00.
We had dined at THE LIVING ROOM and FRESNO the previous two evenings, and neither had a supplemental charge.
