A word from Multnomah Whiskey Library
Enjoy a bar like none other, Multnomah Whiskey Library is the place where you can have the educational experience, but at the same time be in an intimate environment to relax and enjoy NW-styled opulence. We accomplish this by offering a high level of hospitality delivered by a knowledgeable staff. Having said that, you won’t find a level of snobbishness within our walls. We consider ourselves forever students to our craft and no matter how far along we come on our journey to learn about the 1500+ finely curated products we pour, there’s always so much more to learn. We look forward to sharing this journey with you.

The recipe for our culinary program is simple: one measure English pub, one measure Kentucky roadhouse, one measure Oregon abundance. Stir these ingredients together and enjoy! Inspired by cuisine from the major whisk{e}y producing regions of the world, our focus is on small plates, food meant to be shared and paired with fine libations and brisk conversations.

I've been here a half-dozen times or so over the last few months, and it's been a great experience each time. The whiskey is certainly pricey, but for the ambiance and service (not to mention the selection) it's well worth it. The only drawback is the seating arrangements are unconventional. You will sit next to other parties, and it's hard to have a private conversation here. I frequently go with a friend and they'll sit us side by side on a sofa, which means you're sitting with your head turned to the side all night. Other than whiskey, they have a respectable wine list, huge liquor collection (including a deep offering of tequila and rum), cocktails (including non-whiskey-based options) and, you know, water (if you're into that).
