MR CHOW - 57thGreat Service, great foodGreat service and great food. Tables are a little crowded together, but as long as you have nothing to hide it is a great place to enjoy awesome cuisine. Not cheap, but it is fine dining in NY so you have to expect to pay for great things.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMbirthday dinnerI requested a private table where a conversation can be had... (I hate in-line seating) and lo and behold we got exactly what we asked for. My friend has known the restaurant for 30 years so he was ready to order without a menu and he did not disappoint: the drunken fish and velvet chicken were amazing! He also ordered some appetizers among which the crispy seaweed was my favorite. The service was excellent and attentive. I will definitely return soon.5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMMr. Chow- good food all the time,There is never a disappointment at Mr. Chows with the food or service as it is always top notch!! Can't wait to come back again.5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMWe went there with the recommendatiWe went there with the recommendation of a frend and were very satisfied with everything. Had a very nice waiter:)

Very good food, but expensive, with small servings. Great for family style eating.3/26/2013 12:00:00 AMI have dined in some of NYCI have dined in some of NYC finest rest. and it was my first time at Mr.Chow. If you go, your going to pay $$$$ but if you know good rest. you will know the price was secon to every thing else. Excelent place.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways a great meal at Mr.Always a great meal at Mr. Chows and this visit did not disappoint. Always get one of their special dinners because the rice and vegetable are included. If you have at least 3 people then get the Beijing Duck dinner. While not inexpensive, it is a bargain for what you get.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMCiao, Mr. ChowsThis was as much an experience as it was a dinner of dishes that we had never tried before. The atmosphere was very lively. It was also the most expensive Chinese food ever. A word of caution concerning the menus. The menu posted on Mr Chows website and the one presented is vastly different in offerings (restaurant menu much broader) and is vastly different in price (restaurant menu 50% higher in price for fixe price). There were many diners who "allowed" the host to "create" a menu for them based on their own tastes and preferences only to be horrified when they saw their bill.
The green prawns, lobster vermicelli , ma mignon and sorbets desserts were so delicious we plan to make them at home ourselves.3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMFood & service always excellentFood & service always excellent at Mr. Chow. Not thrilled with restricted menu at a higher price for the early seating on New Years Eve.12/31/2012 12:00:00 AMHave been here many timesHave been here many times and it was great as usual. Price is very reasonable for what you get.12/21/2012 12:00:00 AMMr. Chow is always superbMr. Chow is always superb and I find the Beijing Duck dinner a bargain for what you get.11/28/2012 12:00:00 AMWe've been visiting Mr. Chow'sWe've been visiting Mr. Chow's every time we come to NYC since we first discovered it in 1989, and it's always fabulous. We were a party of 8 ladies (4 of whom were 13-18), and ALL of whom were treated like royalty. It made the younger girls appreciate fine dining!1/1/0001 4:00:00 PM
