Yet another trendy restaurant in meatpacking. Cocktails & food were good, crowd was young & stylish. The food & drinks were definitely pricey, but to be expected. We had reservations at 7:45pm & the place was pretty empty at this time. By 10:30pm the place was packed & parties were arriving to celebrate with bottle service. I along with my dining companions started with the Frisée au Lardons, good but nothing extraordinary. I had the Grilled Strip Steak au Poivre for my entree. Very tasty. However, I ordered it medium & it was by far more towards rare. Not a place for the older crowd as it gets very loud & I could barely hear my friends by the end of the night. I would possibly return for a special occassion & if someone else were paying.

food was ok to good. the place was cool and energetic. we were 4 people and sat there for a good 30-40 minutes until i called the maitre d over to get someone to at least take our drinks order. when the waitress finally did come the service was very good. they gave us a free round of cups of soup for the wait. i didn't get that either but it was a nice gesture.

Food was great. Watch out at the bar though... they tag on a 20% gratuity. Be sure to check your tab, because they will not forewarn you. I think its a skeezy practice. For that reason, I will only go there for the food if I ever go there again.

Went here with a friend from out of town. Everything we ordered was very good and the service was great! The sangria was amazing. We had reservations around 8:30 pm and the place was pretty dead when we got there, so this is definitely a later night place.

I have being going to MPD for 2 years and each time I go the food is D-LI-CIOUS it's guarantee fun! The guys are gorgeous and the girls are fabulous in their stilletto's! You couldn't find a restaurant/dance venue better than MPD in NYC! The DJ rocks! Champagne is flowing constantly! And the vibe is priceless! Love my MPD!!!
