Mountain View at Penn National Race CourseBright cheerful place.Penn national is surprisingly relaxed place, where the horse races can be enjoyed like a feel good family movie instead of a seedy place for gamblers. The Mountain View is an nice vista to view it all. The food is good pub food, a bit pricey, but the service is great. The portions were substantial and was pretty good too. The best was the flat bread appetizer. The desserts were typical large clunky combinations that required no talent to make. Have not been displeased with the food any of the times. Service is good and I love watching the races. I do tell everyone about it and also plan on coming back again. We feel the prices are good and the food has been very good and plenty of it.
